Continuous training is a type of physical training that involves activity without rest intervals. This type of training may be of high intensity, or moderate intensity with an extended duration, or fartlek training.
Exercise modes noted as suitable for continuous training include indoor and outdoor cycling, jogging, running, walking, rowing, stair climbing, simulated climbing, Nordic skiing, elliptical training, aerobic riding, aerobic dancing, bench step aerobics, hiking, in-line skating, rope skipping, swimming, and water aerobics.
Mark McLaughlin (born 2 December 1975 in Greenock) is a Scottish footballer currently playing for Greenock Morton.
Since turning senior in 1999, McLaughlin has played over 100 games for both Clyde and Hamilton Academical.
McLaughlin, a defender, began his career at junior club Arthurlie before moving to Clyde in 1999.
Mark made is debut with Clyde in a 3-1 win away from home against Stenhousemuir. On the 07/10/2000 he scored his first senior football goal away to Alloa Athletic at the Recreation Park Alloa's home ground and only 2 weeks later he scored in a 2-2 draw against Ross County at Broadwood in the Scottish Football League First Division.
After five years at Clyde, he joined Hamilton Academical in 2004. He was part of the 07/08 campaign for promotion to the SPL.
After McLaughlin's contract expired at Hamilton, he rejected a new deal and decided to join his childhood team that he supports, Greenock Morton.
McLaughlin grew up in Port Glasgow.
