HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "associated acts" is not recognized
The xx are an English indie pop band formed in 2005 in Wandsworth, London. The group released its debut album, xx, in August 2009. The album was a commercial and critical success and was ranked highly on many best of 2009 lists, including number one on the list compiled by The Guardian and second for NME. In 2010, the band won the Mercury Music Prize for its debut album. Their second album, Coexist, was released on 10 September 2012.
The band members met whilst studying at Elliott School, the same school that produced Hot Chip, Burial, Four Tet, and Pierce Brosnan. The group has however downplayed the influence of the school on its career: "A teacher from Elliott who had never even taught us said how great we were. It's a bit annoying. We were left alone, more than anything – although I'm sure that helped us in its own way." Oliver Sim and Romy Madley-Croft started the band as a duo when they were 15. Guitarist Baria Qureshi joined once it began performing in 2005, with Jamie Smith joining a year after.
The Tsar's Bride (Russian: Царская невеста, Tsarskaja nevesta) is an historical verse drama in four acts by Lev Mei from 1849. Fifty years later Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov used the play as the basis for his opera of the same name. As with Mei's other Russian historical drama, The Maid of Pskov (1859), this play is set in the time of Ivan the Terrible.
Seamus Justin Heaney, MRIA (/ˈʃeɪməs ˈhiːni/; 13 April 1939 – 30 August 2013) was an Irish poet, playwright, translator and lecturer, and the recipient of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Literature.
Born in Castledawson, Northern Ireland, Heaney became a lecturer in Belfast in the early 1960s, after attending university there, and began to publish poetry. He lived in Sandymount, Dublin, from 1976 until his death. Heaney was recognized as one of the principal contributors to poetry during his lifetime. Heaney was a professor at Harvard from 1981 to 1997 and its Poet in Residence from 1988 to 2006. From 1989 to 1994, he was also the Professor of Poetry at Oxford and, in 1996, was made a Commandeur de l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres. Other awards that he received include the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize (1968), the E. M. Forster Award (1975), the PEN Translation Prize (1985), the Golden Wreath of Poetry (2001), the T. S. Eliot Prize (2006) and two Whitbread Prizes (1996 and 1999). In 2011, he was awarded the Griffin Poetry Prize and in 2012, a Lifetime Recognition Award from the Griffin Trust. His literary papers are held by the National Library of Ireland.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, often abridged as Last Week Tonight, is an American late-night talk and news satire television program airing on Sundays on HBO in the United States and HBO Canada, and on Mondays (originally Tuesdays) on Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom. The half-hour long show premiered on Sunday, April 27, 2014, and is hosted by comedian John Oliver. Last Week Tonight shares some similarities with Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where Oliver was previously featured as a correspondent and fill-in host, as it takes a satirical look at news, politics and current events on a weekly basis.
Oliver has said that he has full creative freedom, including free rein to criticize corporations. His initial contract with HBO was for two years with an option for extension. In February 2015, it was announced that the show has been renewed for two additional seasons of 35 episodes each. Oliver and HBO programming president Michael Lombardo have discussed extending the show from half an hour to a full hour and airing more than once a week after Oliver "gets his feet under him".
A temple (from the Latin word templum) is a structure reserved for religious or spiritual activities such as prayer and sacrifice. A templum constituted a sacred precinct as defined by a priest, or augur. It has the same root as the word "template," a plan in preparation of the building that was marked out on the ground by the augur. Templa also became associated with the dwelling places of a god or gods. Despite the specific set of meanings associated with the religion of the ancient Rome, the word has now become quite widely used to describe a house of worship for any number of religions and is even used for time periods prior to the Romans.
Hindu temples are called by many different names, varying on region and language, including mandir, mandira, ambalam, gudi, kavu, koil, kovil, déul, raul, devasthana and devalaya.
Hindu temples are large and magnificent with a rich history. There is evidence of use of sacred ground as far back as the Bronze Age and later the Indus Valley Civilization. However, it was not until Today, Hindu temples have been built in various countries around the world, including India, Nepal, Mauritius, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Great Britain, the United States, Australia, South Africa and Canada.

A bardic account of the two battles of Moytura, the sacred megalithic complex in Sligo. From the magical lore of ancient Ireland, this tale recounts conflicts of the ancestors at the dawn of the world. Stark, strange, beautiful, violent and hinting always at hidden truths, this of all ancient Celtic stories presents an insight into Druidic allegorical teachings. * In Irish Folklore there are many references to the sea. Time marches on never ending, time keeps its own time, Here we stand at beginning, and then goes passing us by, And I, I, I can dream for us all, I hope I'm in a better state, When here and now crumbles and falls and you, you , you who make worlds collide I knew you'd come knocking one day, unannounced like a thief in the night. Where do we go from here, time ain't nothing but time, I now have no fear of my fears And no more tears to cry, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow means nothing at all If we don't hear the line, when today places its call, and morning, morning, morning Won't ever be the same, now I won't make the same mistakes, time and time again (5x) Chorus So tell me how do you do Finally I meet you You don't know what I've bee...

It's hard to think of a debut album this century that was as suddenly ubiquitous and influential as the XX's. Almost overnight, it's unmistakable mix of sultry R&B; and dreamy indie guitar was featured in ads, remixes and nearly every best of 2009 poll. Having followed it up with an equally successful second and now third album, these critical and commercial darlings recently dropped into rage for the first time.

In fact one of the earliest races are called the Fomorians. This may derive from 'fo-mhuir' meaning 'under sea' in Irish, perhaps a reference to the origins of these people as being from a land long since inundated, or aspects 'under' ones subconscious. The early history of Ireland as told in song and story and recorded in early manuscripts refers to several colonizations ...
Hiram Abiff was busy working his Craft, when he suddenly found himself transported into the center of the Earth by Tubal-Cain, there to taste of the Tree of Knowledge. . . Who was the original 'Widow's Son'? That all depends on who you ask. John Milton is often considered too difficult and obscure for today's reader, but to Armando Iannucci Paradise Lost is a thrilling work of creative genius that we ignore at our peril. In this film, Iannucci journeys through Milton's life and his great poem, taking in everything from Satan and the start of political spin to farting angels and the questioning of God's existence, offering his own passionate and illuminating response to Paradise Lost. Milton tackles everything from good and evil to human freedom and the existence of God, in language unparalleled in both scope and variety. Iannucci explores Paradise Lost in detail and looks at the way Milton's extraordinary life – encompassing work as spin doctor to Oliver Cromwell, being imprisoned in the Tower of London and losing his sight...
Geraldine Higgins, director of Emory University’s Irish Studies program, discusses “Seamus Heaney: The Place of Writing.” The presentation is in conjunction with “Seamus Heaney: The Music of What Happens,” the exhibition currently on display in Schatten Gallery at the Woodruff Library through Nov. 25, 2014. It features materials from MARBL’s unique archive including manuscript drafts, photographs, letters and the surface of Heaney’s old writing desk. Curatorial assistants ...
DUBLINERS by James Joyce - FULL Audio Book | Greatest Audio Books - Dubliners is a collection of 15 short stories by James Joyce, first published in 1914. They form a naturalistic depiction of Irish middle class life in and around Dublin in the early years of the 20th century. The stories were written when Irish nationalism was at its peak and a search for a national identity and purpose was raging; at a crossroads of history and culture, Ireland was jolted by various converging ideas and influences. They centre on Joyce's idea of an epiphany: a moment where a character experiences self-understanding or illumination. Many of the characters in Dubliners later appear in minor roles in Joyce's novel Ulysses. The initial stories in the collection are narrated by child protagonists, and as the ...

Oh... But where am I?
This isn´t my world
This dungeon, this sword
They are too real to be an illusion
I can hear the symphony of the earth
Its breath, its eyes scans me
Maybe, the key of it all, the answer
To my questions, is locked in that
Ancient manuscript.. ah ah ah
