Agastyakoodam
About 1869 meters above sea level, Agastyakoodam is one of the highest peaks in the Western Ghats. Tradition says that the great sage Agasthya, had his abode in this peak. The place is noted for its abundant ayurvedic herbs. The place is in the eastern side of the district.[1] Agasthyarkoodam, a prominent peak of the Western Ghats, is in the form of a sharp cone. It is about 1869 metres above sea level. This peak, a pilgrim centre of the Hindus, according to tradition was home to the great sage Agastya, who was a confirmed bachelor. Hence, the aborigines dislike the presence of women on the hill. Women are not allowed up the peak.
Akkulam
Akkulam is one of the picnic spots, in Thiruvananthapuram city. The spot is developed on the banks of Akulam Lake, which is an extension of the Veli Lake. The calm and serene atmosphere and its natural beauty are a fascination for tourists. The Boat Club, which started functioning in 1989, now operates speed, safari, pedal and row boats from Akkulam to Veli Tourist Village. A traditional style Kettuvallam(house boat) is available for overnight stay. The swimming pool at Akkulam is equipped with glider and other playing facilities. The Children’s Park is a unique amusement spot and has several new rides that have been included recently. The newly commissioned musical fountain is an added attraction.

The video shows ILS approach, landing and taxi of a heavy business jet Challenger 604 on runway 32 of Trivandrum Intl. Airport (IATA: TRV, ICAO: VOTV). This is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India. It was the fifth international airport of India declared by then Prime Minister Shri V.P. Singh in 1991. Airport is considered an "all weather" airport and is ISO 9001-2000 certified.
The Trivandrum International (TRV) airport terminal is approximately 3.7 km due west from the city centre, 16 km from Kovalam beach. Airport being strategically located at the southern tip of Indian subcontinent, it serves as shortest hopping point from India to Sri Lanka and Maldives and thus preferred airport for international tourists. There are flights to Middle eastern and South eastern countries from here. If flights are introduced to South Africa, Australia and others in Southern Hemisphere from Thiruvananthapuram, it would provide the shortest distance journey from India.
Trivandrum International Airport operates two terminals.
In addition to civil operations, Trivandrum Airport caters to the Indian Air Force and the Coast Guard for their strategic operations. Trivandrum airport also caters to the Rajiv Gandhi Academy which carries out pilot training activities.
IFR approach on the video carried out by hot evening in sunset conditions. Taxiing ends on the parking stand number 43.

The Trivandrum International (TRV) airport terminal is approximately 3.7 km due west from the city centre, 16 km from Kovalam beach. Airport being strategically located at the southern tip of Indian subcontinent, it serves as shortest hopping point from India to Sri Lanka and Maldives and thus preferred airport for international tourists. Ponmudi is a hill station, located just 60km north east of Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala in India. The word Ponmudi means The Golden Peak. Being the part of Western Ghats mountain range Ponmudi is at an altitude of 1100m. The vistas of hills carpeted with the lush forest are a great feast to the eyes. There are 22 thrilling hair pin bends. Driving through the narrow serpentine road itself is an amazing experience. Trekking in the Ponmudi hill terrain gives opportunity to become a bit adventurous. The pleasant and stimulating climate is enjoyable to Families as well as Bachelors. Ponmudi is an ideal destination for casual strolls and leisure filled picnics. There are regular KSRTC bus services from Thiruvananthapuram and Nedumangad. There is a Government Guest House at Ponmudi. Kerala Tourist Development Corporation provides Food and Accommodation to the Tourist at their hotel - Golden Peak.
