Benetton clothing company has recently launched a new ad campaign, showing doctored photos of world leaders in conflict locking lips, such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The Italian clothing firm withdrew one of its ads on Wednesday, which used an image of Pope Benedict kissing an imam on the mouth, after the Vatican protested.
Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi called the unauthorized and "manipulative" use of the pope's picture in the photo montage totally unacceptable and suggested it might take legal action against the company. Father Lombardi said in a statement: "This is a grave lack of respect for the pope, an offense against the sentiments of the faithful and a clear example of how advertising can violate elementary rules of respect for people in order to attract attention through provocation,".
A large banner with the image of the pope and the imam was hung from a bridge near the Vatican on Wednesday morning but later removed.
Benetton said the purpose of its campaign was "exclusively to fight the culture of hate in every form" but said it had nonetheless decided to withdraw the image and that they were "sorry that the use of an image of the pontiff and the imam should have offended the sensibilities of the faithful in this way,".
Other photo montages in the same campaign, in which Benetton says it supports the Unhate Foundation, show other world leaders kissing each other on the mouth.
U.S. President Barack Obama is shown kissing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in one.
The Italian clothing company has run controversial advertising campaigns in the past, including one that showed grieving parents at the bedside of a man dying of AIDS.

Put some sizzle in your sex life — or just feel more sensual — by donning a good old-fashioned garter belt.
Step 1: Pick a fabric
Think about what kind of fabric you want -- garter belts come in satin, lace, fishnet, mesh, leather, and vinyl.
Step 2: Decide on straps
Decide how many straps you need, usually between four and 12. Four are fine if your garter's main role will be as a sexy bedtime accessory, but you'll want more support if you plan to wear the belt for longer.
Tip
For a slimming effect, choose a garter belt with a hidden control panel.
Step 3: Spring for metal clips
Pick a garter belt with metal clips, as opposed to plastic ones. You'll pay more, but you'll reduce the chances of the clips popping open. And make sure the straps are adjustable.
Step 4: Get a good fit
See that the garter belt sits securely on your waist, but is not tight.
Step 5: Wear quality stockings
Wear stockings that are designed to be worn with a garter belt. You'll be able to identify them by the thicker, darker band at the top, known as the welt.
Tip
Splurge on silk stockings; they'll cost more initially, but the payoff is that they last longer -- and look better.
Step 6: Attach the clasps
Attach each clasp to the welt, taking care to keep the straps straight. You do this by placing the round part of the clasp under the stocking, about an inch from the top of the welt, and then pressing the part with the loop over it, to form a lock.
Step 7: Adjust the strap length
Once the straps are clasped to the stockings, adjust their lengths just as you'd adjust a bra strap. To gauge how much slack you need in the back in order to sit down without snapping your stockings, lift your leg onto a chair and adjust.
Step 8: Pair them with great panties
Pair your garter belt with a beautiful pair of panties in either the same color or a complementary one.
Step 9: Hand wash your garter
Keep your garter belt in good shape by hand washing it in a mild detergent.

Sometimes, as an alternative to special clothes, special devices at a lower price can be attached to regular clothes in order to prevent a person from removing the clothes. Though many names are used for these objects, they are sometimes referred to as "mousetraps." Many versions exist, some of which are also designed to have fashionability.

Benetton clothing company has recently launched a new ad campaign, showing doctored photos of world leaders in conflict locking lips, such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The Italian clothing firm withdrew one of its ads on Wednesday, which used an image of Pope Benedict kissing an imam on the mouth, after the Vatican protested.
Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi called the unauthorized and "manipulative" use of the pope's picture in the photo montage totally unacceptable and suggested it might take legal action against the company. Father Lombardi said in a statement: "This is a grave lack of respect for the pope, an offense against the sentiments of the faithful and a clear example of how advertising can violate elementary rules of respect for people in order to attract attention through provocation,".
A large banner with the image of the pope and the imam was hung from a bridge near the Vatican on Wednesday morning but later removed.
Benetton said the purpose of its campaign was "exclusively to fight the culture of hate in every form" but said it had nonetheless decided to withdraw the image and that they were "sorry that the use of an image of the pontiff and the imam should have offended the sensibilities of the faithful in this way,".
Other photo montages in the same campaign, in which Benetton says it supports the Unhate Foundation, show other world leaders kissing each other on the mouth.
U.S. President Barack Obama is shown kissing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in one.

Put some sizzle in your sex life — or just feel more sensual — by donning a good old-fashioned garter belt.
Step 1: Pick a fabric
Think about what kind of fabric you want -- garter belts come in satin, lace, fishnet, mesh, leather, and vinyl.
Step 2: Decide on straps
Decide how many straps you need, usually between four and 12. Four are fine if your garter's main role will be as a sexy bedtime accessory, but you'll want more support if you plan to wear the belt for longer.
Tip
For a slimming effect, choose a garter belt with a hidden control panel.
Step 3: Spring for metal clips
Pick a garter belt with metal clips, as opposed to plastic ones. You'll pay more, but you'll reduce the chances of the clips popping open. And make sure the straps are adjustable.
Step 4: Get a good fit
See that the garter belt sits securely on your waist, but is not tight.
Step 5: Wear quality stockings
Wear stockings that are designed to be worn with a garter belt. You'll be able to identify them by the thicker, darker band at the top, known as the welt.
Tip
Splurge on silk stockings; they'll cost more initially, but the payoff is that they last longer -- and look better.
Step 6: Attach the clasps
Attach each clasp to the welt, taking care to keep the straps straight. You do this by placing the round part of the clasp under the stocking, about an inch from the top of the welt, and then pressing the part with the loop over it, to form a lock.
Step 7: Adjust the strap length
Once the straps are clasped to the stockings, adjust their lengths just as you'd adjust a bra strap. To gauge how much slack you need in the back in order to sit down without snapping your stockings, lift your leg onto a chair and adjust.
Step 8: Pair them with great panties
Pair your garter belt with a beautiful pair of panties in either the same color or a complementary one.
Step 9: Hand wash your garter
Keep your garter belt in good shape by hand washing it in a mild detergent.

The movements are generally large and exaggerated, and often very rhythmic and tightly synced with the music. Locking is quite performance oriented, often interacting with the audience by smiling or giving them a high five, and some moves are quite comical in nature. A dancer who performs locking is called a locker. Lockers commonly use a distinctive dress style, such as colorful clothing with stripes and suspenders.
Locking was originally danced to traditional funk music, such as that produced or performed by James Brown. Funk music is still commonly favored by locking dancers, and used by many competitions such as the locking division of Juste Debout. Locking movements create a strong contrast towards the many fast moves that are otherwise performed quite continuously, combined with mime style performance and acting towards the audience and other dancers. Locking includes quite a lot of acrobatics and physically demanding moves, such as landing on one's knees and the split. These moves often require knee protection of some sort.

From basic blocking and striking as first level responses, he outlines how to move beyond it into full wrist locks that are designed to break your attacker's wrist. All techniques, if applied properly are efficient and effective in immobilizing your attacker from harming you.
