Compact disc

Compact disc (CD) is a digital optical disc data storage format. The format was originally developed to store and play only sound recordings but was later adapted for storage of data (CD-ROM). Several other formats were further derived from these, including write-once audio and data storage (CD-R), rewritable media (CD-RW), Video Compact Disc (VCD), Super Video Compact Disc (SVCD), Photo CD, PictureCD, CD-i, and Enhanced Music CD. Audio CDs and audio CD players have been commercially available since October 1982.

Standard CDs have a diameter of 120 millimetres (4.7 in) and can hold up to about 80 minutes of uncompressed audio or about 700 MiB of data. The Mini CD has various diameters ranging from 60 to 80 millimetres (2.4 to 3.1 in); they are sometimes used for CD singles, storing up to 24 minutes of audio, or delivering device drivers.

At the time of the technology's introduction in 1982, a CD had greater storage capacity than a personal computer hard drive. By 2010 hard drives commonly had capacities exceeding those of CDs by a factor of several thousand.

C.D. Montijo

Clube Desportivo de Montijo commonly known as simply as Montijo was a football club from the city of Montijo, Setúbal. The club was founded in 1948 and folded in 2007 due to financial problems. As Clube Desportivo de Montijo, it played in the Primeira Liga on three occasions in the 1972–73, 1973–74, 1976–77 seasons. Former Portuguese international goalkeeper Ricardo played for the club between 1994 and 1995 before being transferred to Boavista.

After it folded in 2007 it restarted as Clube Olímpico do Montijo on the 11 July 2007. The current Montijo team plays at the Campo da Liberdade which holds a seating capacity of 1000. As Clube Olímpico do Montijo it currently plays in the AF Setúbal First Division following relegation in the 2011–12 season from the Portuguese Third Division.

CD Móstoles

Club Deportivo Móstoles was a Spanish football team from Móstoles, a city in the southern metropolitan area of Madrid. Founded in 1955 and dissolved in 2012 it played its last season in Tercera División, holding home matches at Estadio El Soto, which sat about 14,000 spectators.

Team colours were all-blue, with white socks.

History

Móstoles made its first appearance in the country's third division in 1990–91, 35 years after being born. It only lasted one season, however, and went on to amass a further four presences in that category in the following two decades, never lasting more than two seasons.

The club suffered relegation from the fourth level at the end of the 2011–12 campaign, thus returning to the regional championships. It folded shortly after, due an overall debt of €234,591, owed to its players from 2011–12 and past seasons. Every player of 2011–12 season sued the club for wage's unpaid. Finally, the players won the lawsuit.

CD Móstoles URJC

Club Deportivo Móstoles U.R.J.C., formerly CDE El Soto and CD Juventud Móstoles,is a Spanish football team based in Móstoles, in the autonomous community of Madrid. Founded in 1996, it plays in Tercera División, holding home games at Estadio El Soto, which about 5,000-seat capacity.
