Yo whaddup crew!
It's Bible here and I'm
BACK with another gun review video, this time on the
Vortex Gold.
The Vortex G is a 2-3 shot kill
SMG primary weapon, and costs 1,
000 coins in
RCF (excluding
200 coin discounts). Its real-life counterpart is known as the
KRISS Vector. Surprisingly, the stats say that the range is terrible, but we all know that RCF stats sometimes lie.
No burst fire is needed even out to middle and long ranges, and it's a stable gun throughout.
Its got the standard 30 rounds for a premium assault rifle in the first magazine to start out with, and has the extra 2 magazines each with 30 respectively, for a grand total of 90 rounds. But even with the faster fire rate, you won't find yourself running to an ammo resupply station very often.
This gun outperforms assault rifles like the M4, Groza-M, and
Ronin in close ranges. It also might give you an edge over a shotgun user if he does in fact miss his first shot.
The Vortex has a predictable recoil, though prevalent, and is extremely easy to use and handle. You might find yourself running around smoothly and hip firing enemies accurately even in the most desperate of situations.
It has an easy to control upward pull, not to the side or diagonally.
It's suitable for defensive roles, but for snapshooting and for staying in one area, I would better recommend any shotgun or hard-hitting sniper rifle over the Vortex.
That being said, you might often find yourself operating silently behind enemy lines, waiting for an opportune time to flank, and catching the enemy team by surprise.
It's most suitable for assassinating enemies without a single trace of evidence, as well as for breaking into close quarters areas.
The Vortex G has a fast reload speed as well as excellent magnification, which boosts long range performance to an extent, though it does increase the visible recoil through the red dot sight.
The Bronze and
Silver variants have less visible recoil, but the tradeoff would be much fewer rounds per magazine (20) and total rounds, which hampers the Vortex's effectiveness and makes it less forgiving if you do miss your first few shots.
Even though it's such a good all-around weapon, it's not considered overpowered due to the fact that it's not dominant in one single area, unlike the
Hellraiser or Saiga-12.
I've personally never really had a bad score with this gun, and it at least keeps me in the game.
This is reminiscent of the
ACR in
MW2, but probably not in
MW3 because the ACR was the most hated weapon in that game.
With the Vortex Gold by your side, you're bound to rack up kills in a minute amount of time, while striking your enemies from behind, where they least expect it.
