Tom Lister (born 21 June 1978 in Ingleton, North Yorkshire) is an English actor who is best known for his portrayal of villain Carl King in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale (2004–12).
Lister was born Thomas Brown but took on his mother's maiden name when acting professionally to avoid confusion with another actor going by the name Tom Brown. He is married to a primary school teacher and they have two sons. He has also remained friends with the actors who played his brothers on-screen Nick Miles and Matt Healy. He is a devout Christian.
He studied at Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) for three years, pursuing his dream of being an actor and graduated in 2001. He made his acting debut in 1999 playing a small part as a Sales Office Team Member and went onto appear in such television series as Heartbeat, Doctors and The Bill. In February 2004 he got his big break when he debuted on the British soap opera Emmerdale playing Carl King a role which he maintained until his departure from the serial on 18 October 2012, following eight years, after his character was murdered in the show's 40th Anniversary live episode (17 October 2012).
Calamity Jane (A Musical Western) is a stage musical which utilizes the historical figure of frontierswoman Calamity Jane as the central character in a fabricated somewhat farcical plot which involves the authentic Calamity Jane's professional associate Wild Bill Hickok, she and he being presented as having a contentious relationship which ultimately proves to be the façade for mutually amorous feelings. The Calamity Jane stage musical originated as an adaption for live performance of Calamity Jane, the 1953 movie musical from Warner Bros. which had starred Doris Day. First produced in 1961, the stage musical Calamity Jane features six songs not heard in the original movie: according to Jodie Prenger, star of the Calamity Jane 2014 - 15 UK tour, the songs added for the stage musical had been written for but not included in the Calamity Jane movie ("Love You Dearly" had been utilized in the 1954 Doris Day musical film Lucky Me).
Adapted by Ronald Hanmer and Phil Park from the stage play by Charles K. Freeman, after the Warner Bros. film, written by James O'Hanlon

http://www.vladtv.com - Tommy "Tiny" Lister clears up Internet rumors about him being from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, saying, "That's a bunch of lies. Everything on the Internet is wrong." The "Friday" actor says that he grew up in Compton, went to Compton High School, and later attended Cal State L.A., where he was the 1982 NCAA Division II National Shot Put Champion. When speaking about growing up in Compton, Tiny jokes about needing a "bulletproof ass" to survive and shares a story about a big shootout at his high school, where he claims around 13 people were shot. He recalls that when they would put the school on lockdown and search everything, they would find 30-40 guns, adding, "The teachers all had guns at our high school."

Please forgive the very poor quality of the video. Unfortunately we did not know the camcorder was recording in 480p. By the time we learned the video was fuzzy Nick had already left on a trip out of state. Kind of embarrassing as the video would look 10x better if it were recorded on any smartphone. We're learning our lessons as we go here. We decided better to put out the fuzzy video than not put out the story at all.
Nick is the #1 lister for the group, writing between $1.5-2.2 million in fees himself per year. He is known as the king of databasing, and having the best stay-in-touch strategy in the business. Hard-core rapper Ice Cube, after appearing in such hard-hitting films as Boyz 'N the Hood and Higher Learning, played his first comic role in this picture he co-wrote with frequent musical collaborator DJ Pooh. Craig (Ice Cube) manages to get fired on his day off (though he claims it's through no fault of his own) and spends the day hanging out with his buddy Smokey (Chris Tucker) and trying to avoid his father (John Witherspoon), who wants him to find another job immediately. Smokey (whose name might have something to do with his tremendous fondness for marijuana) has even more serious problems; he was given $200 worth of weed to sell by Big Worm (Faizon Love), but he ended up smoking it instead, and if he can't come up with the money by the end of the day, he'll be in a world of hurt (an...
