The weather is hot and the snowbirds are gone, meaning it’s a great time to take advantage of some summer special at Palm Beach restaurants. Here’s a good one:
Chez l’Epicier on Palm Beach Island, through Oct. 30, is offering guests specials dining specials, including all-you-eat P.E.I mussels and French fries on Thursdays. The mussels, as the pièce de résistance of summer, are prepared with four different sauces— white wine, shallot and garlic; Dijon mustard; Blue cheese; and Arrabbiata (spicy tomato sauce), plus the house-made French fries. The price is $22 per person (no sharing) for unlimited flights of moules, frites, and flavors.
Guests who are willing to dine early can take advantage of early dinner specials featuring 50 percent savings on all entrees from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. and the restaurant is also offering a three-course summer prix fixe menu and includes a choice from four starters, four entrees and three desserts for $30 per person.
On Sundays, Chez l’Epicier is offering half price bottles of rosé and wine (up to $200 per bottle).
The highly acclaimed flagship Chez l’Épicier in Montreal was established in 2000. Chef/ Owner Laurent Godbout and his wife, Veroniqué Denault introduced their inventive, French Canadian cuisine to the States and opened his Palm Beach location in July 2015.
