Synopsis : Gopalan (M. G. Soman) is a local owner of cane wholesale business as he purchases the canes from workers and sell it for high price. But he is a dishonest person as he smuggles sandalwood too in between cane business. Varuthunni (Madhu) is the chief of workers and they believe Gopalan. Varuthunni's adopted son is Ramu (Kamal Hassan) and he in in love with Sreedevi, (Seema) daughter of Narayanan, (Jose Prakash) co-worker of Varuthunni. Annamma (Sheela) is a widow and she too likes Ramu, eventhough he is younger to her.
Gopalan gets caught in sandalwood smuggling, but escapes by blaming Varuthunni as the real culprit. The conflict between Varuthunni and Gopalan creates issues among the cane workers and most of them joins hands with Varuthunni as he is an honest person. Workers decides to provide cane only to Varuthunni and not to Gopalan, which hurts Gopalan's business and his equation with his boss. Meantime Annamma seduces Ramu and they became intimate.
Gopalan's team destroys Varuthunni's cane stacks and thus issue between the two gets bigger. Sensing the danger of the situation, Gopalan decides to bump off Varuthunni, but this plan was informed to Ramu, who is down by fever by Varuthunni's friend.(Sankaradi) At the same time Annamma reveals Ramu that she is pregnant.
Shattered Ramu, unable to take a decision frantically go in search of his father Varuthunni to save him from the death plot of Gopalan, but he is beaten to pulp by Gopalan's gang, but he traces his father, but before he informs the plot, Gopalan shoots Varuthunni, but the bullet hits Ramu as he jumps in front of his father to save him. Shattered Varuthunni kills Gopalan and Ramu in his last moments requests his father to take care of his child, now carried by Annamma and dies in the lap of his loving father Varuthunni shattering many dreams and hopes.

Sarapancharam is a 1979 Malayalam film written and directed by Hariharan starring Jayan,Sheela, Sathaar, P.K. Abraham and Oduvil Unnikrishnan in major roles. It was released in the golden era of Jayan, a popular superstar of Malayalam cinema.[1] He played the main villain role in the film. It was also one of the first notable films of Oduvil Unnikrishnan.[2] The storyline of the film is loosely based on D. H. Lawrence's 1928 novel Lady Chatterley's Lover though there are significant differences in plot and characterization.[3]
The story concerns a young married woman, Soudamini (Sheela), whose upper-class husband (P.K. Abraham) has been paralyzed and rendered impotent. Her sexual frustration leads her into an affair with the servant, Chandrasekharan (Jayan). She eventually gets married to him but later discovers that he has had relationship with many ladies and he aimed only at her wealth. She and her only daughter Baby (born from her first husband) are helpless as they are not able to put him out of their lives. Later, a young man named Prabhakaran, who is the son of an ex-servant of Soudamini, enters their life and helps them to get rid of Chandrasekharan. In the climax, Chandrasekharan is shot dead by Soudamini.

Sheela
Sheela (born 24 March 1945) is an Indian film actress who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. Alongside Prem Nazir, she holds the Guinness World Record for acting in the largest number of films (107) together as heroine and hero. In 2005 she won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the Malayalam film Akale.
Early life and family
Sheela was born in a Syrian Christian family as the second among ten children, at Kanimangalam, Madras Presidency. Her father Antony was a railway officer while her mother Gracy was a housewife. Since her father was working with the railways, she was brought up in different places before finally settling down at Coimbatore. As a result, she had her primary education at various places including Thrissur, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Edappally and St. Francis Anglo-Indian Girls School, Coimbatore.
Sheela was first married to Xavier, whom she divorced later. Through her second marriage to Tamil actor Ravichandran, she has a son George who has worked in a few Tamil and Telugu films, apart from television. He is married and has two daughters. Sheela has authored a Malayalam novel named Pathamathe Cheque and has also written a book titled Kuilinte Koodu apart from many short stories. In addition, she is also a painter and an interior designer.

Plot: Ford Davis is fresh out of college and out of a job. After damaging a rental car from his father's car dealership, Ford is forced into working on the lot as a salesmen until he can pay off his debt to his dad, Big Len. While at the dealership, Ford befriends the other car salesmen, who refer to each other as "CarBabes," and quickly learns that selling cars is not easy. Meanwhile, a competitor across the street, Ron Hamper of Hamper's Campers RV Park, has had his eye on the Davis Automotive lot for sometime now. Plot: Anand Malhotra, the only son of a very wealthy industrialist, Kailanshnath Malhotra is in love with the only daughter of a widowed schoolteacher, Gayetri Saxena, whose name is Sapna Saxena. His mom and dad find out about his romance, and decide to get him married to her. On the day of the engagement, Gayetri and Sapna lock their door and spend the week elsewhere. Kailashnath and his wife are outraged by this humiliation and swear never to marry their son to Sapna. Anand is perplexed at this, and attempts to find from Gayetri, as to her refusal, but Gayetri refuses to tell him anything. Anand knows that Sapna loves him, and is determined to find out why their marriage is not possible. Little does he know that by doing so, he could be challenging Gayetri's widowhood, as well as putting his dad and his business in jeopardy.

Plot: Barely in his teens, Sonu works as a servant in the palatial house of Mr. Nath, his wife and step-daughter, Nisha. Thereafter Sonu is arrested by the Police and taken away. Years later, Sonu has grown up, calls himself Shankar, and makes a living as a bounty hunter. He finds out when hardened criminals are arrested, and while they are being transported to prison, he helps them escape, feeds them, then turns them over to the law for a hefty reward. When Shankar finds out that Jai Kumar has been arrested for killing Kundan, he arranges his escape, and then subsequently goes to hunt him down. It is then Shankar finds out that Jai is Nisha's sweetheart, and decides to kill two birds with one stone, avenge his humiliation and the scar from the iron he still carries on his back, from both Nisha and her dad, and force Nisha to marry him - or else he will ensure Jai's arrest and subsequent conviction - a conviction which will lead Jai to the gallows.

Plot: After the death of his wife, Savitri, former bandit, Suraj Singh, decides to go straight, and with the help of a Catholic Priest, Father John, goes to work in a small hillside community along with his young son, Raju. Years pass by, Johny has grown up and is in love with Seema, the daughter of his employer, Colonel. Suraj talks to Johny to give up the idea of marrying someone so rich and wealthy - with considerable success. An embittered Seema agrees to marry anyone her grandfather chooses, which is Amar, who has returned from London. Before that could happen, Johny has an encounter with Zalim, who is subsequently arrested by the Police, found guilty and jailed for life. Then Amar arrives with his sister, Sheela, and instantly approves of Seema. What they family is not aware of is that the real Amar and Sheela have been killed and their place has been taken over by Zalim's son, Shakti, and his girlfriend, Julie. Watch what happens when Zalim breaks out of prison and lets out the secret that Savitri had not died a natural death and had been killed by none other than her very own husband, Suraj; the impact this has on the Colonel and his family - and as well as on Johny.

Synopsis : Gopalan (M. G. Soman) is a local owner of cane wholesale business as he purchases the canes from workers and sell it for high price. But he is a dishonest person as he smuggles sandalwood too in between cane business. Varuthunni (Madhu) is the chief of workers and they believe Gopalan. Varuthunni's adopted son is Ramu (Kamal Hassan) and he in in love with Sreedevi, (Seema) daughter of Narayanan, (Jose Prakash) co-worker of Varuthunni. Annamma (Sheela) is a widow and she too likes Ramu, eventhough he is younger to her.
Gopalan gets caught in sandalwood smuggling, but escapes by blaming Varuthunni as the real culprit. The conflict between Varuthunni and Gopalan creates issues among the cane workers and most of them joins hands with Varuthunni as he is an honest person. Workers decides to provide cane only to Varuthunni and not to Gopalan, which hurts Gopalan's business and his equation with his boss. Meantime Annamma seduces Ramu and they became intimate.
Gopalan's team destroys Varuthunni's cane stacks and thus issue between the two gets bigger. Sensing the danger of the situation, Gopalan decides to bump off Varuthunni, but this plan was informed to Ramu, who is down by fever by Varuthunni's friend.(Sankaradi) At the same time Annamma reveals Ramu that she is pregnant.
Shattered Ramu, unable to take a decision frantically go in search of his father Varuthunni to save him from the death plot of Gopalan, but he is beaten to pulp by Gopalan's gang, but he traces his father, but before he informs the plot, Gopalan shoots Varuthunni, but the bullet hits Ramu as he jumps in front of his father to save him. Shattered Varuthunni kills Gopalan and Ramu in his last moments requests his father to take care of his child, now carried by Annamma and dies in the lap of his loving father Varuthunni shattering many dreams and hopes.

Lawrence's 1928 novel Lady Chatterley's Lover though there are significant differences in plot and characterization.[3]
The story concerns a young married woman, Soudamini (Sheela), whose upper-class husband (P.K. Abraham) has been paralyzed and rendered impotent. Her sexual frustration leads her into an affair with the servant, Chandrasekharan (Jayan). She eventually gets married to him but later discovers that he has had relationship with many ladies and he aimed only at her wealth. She and her only daughter Baby (born from her first husband) are helpless as they are not able to put him out of their lives. Later, a young man named Prabhakaran, who is the son of an ex-servant of Soudamini, enters their life and helps them to get rid of Chandrasekharan. In the climax, Chandrasekharan is shot dead by Soudamini.
