Årset is a village in the municipality of Ålesund in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the island of Ellingsøya (northeast of the city center of Ålesund), about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of the village of Myklebost and about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) west of Tennfjord in Haram.
The 0.46-square-kilometre (110-acre) village has a population (2009) of 468, which gives it a population density of 1,017 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,630 /sq mi).
