Here's what I've been doing for the past few days... After making this I've realised I'm not a very coordinated human being and trying to "sing" and play the ukulele at the same time is not the thing for me. Oh, and this ended up being a video within a video, with that whole reversed video thing, but I though it looked cool, so I wanted to include it, anyway... Music from audionetwork.com except the one from the reversed bit. That one's from Declan Mckenna and you can listen to it here (and download it for free *woot woot*): http://declanmckenna.bandcamp.com/track/time Twitter: @amdsld Instagram: @ana_marta_dias

I've had several comments now about what I mean when I've talked about how I "play around the chord" instead of playing a straight up scale when I solo. In this video, I'll explain a bit about how to do it, and what's going on in my noggin when I do it. I also take a different approach to mic'ing the amp. If you're actually reading this description, I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether you like this technique better/worse than what we normally do.
