1981 Archer photoelectric alarm cat no 49-201.
Know your 1980's photoelectric burglar alarms.
(Also known as an "electric eye").
The one shown here is an "Archer" brand (cat no 49-201), manufactured in Japan for Radio Shack, which, in 1981, was a division of Tandy Corporation.
This particular device is still in operation and working well... even after being in continuous use for 31 years !!....(It was obviously well designed and well manufactured to be still in operation after 30 years).
I couldn't find any on the net...not even a picture.....but I'd be very surprised if this one is the only (operational) one left (in the world) !!!

RADIO SHACK AM RADIO ~ VINTAGE TRANSISTOR FLAVORADIO
These handheld transistor radios were made from 1994-2001, called Flavoradios. This one color pink. Made in the Philippines for Radio Shack. Tandy Corporation, Forth Worth, TX. The ones made before 1994 were 'Realistic' and I believe had a telescopic antenna on top.
This is high definition [HD] video footage for Youtube.
