Zadar
Zadar (Croatian pronunciation: [zâdar]; see other names) is a city in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea. It is the centre of Zadar County and the wider northern Dalmatian region. In the last official census of 2011 the population of Zadar was 75,082, making it the fifth largest city in the country. Zadar is a historical centre of Dalmatia as well as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Zadar: it has a rich history dating from prehistoric times.
Etymology and historical names
The name of the city of Zadar emerged as Iadera and Iader in ancient times, but the origin of the name is older. It was most probably related to a hydrographical term, coined by an ancient Mediterranean people and their Pre-Indo-European language. They transmitted it to later settlers, the Liburnians. The name of the Liburnian settlement was first mentioned by a Greek inscription from Pharos (Stari grad) on the island of Hvar in 384 BC, where the citizens of Zadar were noted as Ίαδασινοί (Iadasinoi). According to the Greek source Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax the city was Ίδασσα (Idassa), probably a Greek transcription of the original Liburnian expression.

Church of St. Donatus
The Church of St. Donatus is a church located in Zadar, Croatia. Its name refers to Donatus of Zadar, who began construction on this church in the 9th century and ended it on the northeastern part of the Roman forum. Originally named Church of the Holy Trinity, in the 15th century it was re-dedicated to St. Donatus.
The church of St. Donatus is the largest Pre-romanesque building in Croatia. It is also an example of the centralised type of the Carolingian period in Europe.
History
The beginning of the building of the Church of St. Donatus was placed to the second half of the 8th century, and it is supposed to be completed in the 9th century. The Zadar bishop and diplomat Donat (8th and 9th centuries) is credited with the building of the church. He led the representations of the Dalmatian cities to Constantinople and Charles the Great, which is why this church bears slight resemblance to Charlemagne's court chapels, especially the one in Aachen (now Aachen Cathedral), and also to the Basilica of San Vitale in Ravenna. It belongs to the Pre-Romanesque architectural period.

Local churches (affiliation)
The local churches are a Christian movement founded in China whose beliefs and practice are based on the teachings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. They condemn denominationalism and instruct believers to meet together with no name or basis other than the city or locality in which they reside. They emphasize the subjective experience of Christ as well as the Biblical truths regarding Christ and the church. Nee was influenced by the writings of the Plymouth Brethren.
Local churches are found on every continent and claim several million members.
History
Origins
The development of the local churches as a group can be traced to the conversion of Watchman Nee in Fuzhou, China. At an early age, Nee committed his life to Christian ministry. Mostly self-educated, he published his interpretation of the inner Christian life and of New Testament church practices through books and magazines after moving to Shanghai in 1927.
Witness Lee was an early follower of Nee's. Nee and Lee met for the first time in Chefoo in 1932. In 1934, Lee moved to Shanghai to work with Nee. One of Lee's many responsibilities was editing Nee's publications. In the following years, Nee published many works and held regular conferences and trainings for church workers. Nee, Lee and other workers established over six hundred local churches throughout China and Southeast Asia before the Communist Revolution of 1949.

May 10th, 2014 GTG - Fall Tour Route
Dubuque GTG - Fall Tour route, 52S past Bellevue into the Savannah / Sabula area, then back up through Illinois to Galena. The GoPro battery didn't last the whole trip, but managed to capture about 80-85% of it. Really cool route. Playback speed is at 400%, with 50% at the pass through St. Donatus for their local car show, and then 100% when we reach the metal bridge in Savannah / Sabula. Enjoy!

Zwischen 1962 und 1963 baute man etwas abseits des Gotteshauses einen freistehend markanten Glockenturm. Letzteres gab es 2003 eine grundlegende Sanierung des Turmes und eine Generalüberholung der Anlage. Einmalig ist der aktuelle Glockenbestand der Clarenbachkirche. Mit insgesamt acht Glocken aus zwei Oktaven in mittelschwerer Rippe zählt dieses mit Halbtonschritt attraktiv ansprechende Glockenensemble zu den glockenreichsten Geläuten einer evangelischen Kirche in Köln. 1962 ging der zum Neuguss bestehende Glockenauftrag an die hessische Glockengießerei ...

Disposition: a' - c" - d" - f" - g" - a" Motiv: Griesbacher'sches Idealsextett Die heutige Kirche in Wilwerwiltz bauten die Diekircher Architekten Leo und Guillaume Gaul zwischen 1960 bis 1963 nach ihren Plänen auf. Am 28. Juli 1963 wurde die fertig gestellte Kirche des Luxemburger Bischofs Léo Lommel konsekriert. In den Neubau wurden aus der alten Kirche folgendes übernommen: Der rechte Seitenaltar, vorher das Hauptaltar der alten Kirche, geht auf das Jahr 1685 zurück und ist nach dem Hl. Willibrord geweiht. Der von 1745 eingeweihte linke Seitenaltar des Hl. Wendelins wurde ebenfalls in den Neubau eingefügt. Die dort aufgestellte Statue aus dem 17. August 1957 wurden für die Stiftskirche sechs Glocken aus der Glockengießerei Bachert in Karlsruhe hergestellt. Dieses Geläut, mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 9380 kg, zählt bis heute zu den schönsten Motiven in Kaiserslautern. Der Aufzug des sechsstimmigen Geläutes konnte Anfang November 1957 erfolgen. Dubuque GTG - Fall Tour route, 52S past Bellevue into the Savannah / Sabula area, then back up through Illinois to Galena. The GoPro battery didn't last the whole trip, but managed to capture about 80-85% of it. Really cool route. Playback speed is at 400%, with 50% at the pass through St. Donatus for their local car show, and then 100% when we reach the metal bridge in Savannah / Sabula.

Die heutige evangelische Clarenbachkirche, entlang der Aachener Straße des Kölner Stadtteils Braunsfeld gelegen, entstand aufgrund der wachsenden Bevölkerungszahlen im Jahr 1951. Zwischen 1962 und 1963 baute man etwas abseits des Gotteshauses einen freistehend markanten Glockenturm. Letzteres gab es 2003 eine grundlegende Sanierung des Turmes und eine Generalüberholung der Anlage.
Einmalig ist der aktuelle Glockenbestand der Clarenbachkirche. Mit insgesamt acht Glocken aus zwei Oktaven in mittelschwerer Rippe zählt dieses mit Halbtonschritt attraktiv ansprechende Glockenensemble zu den glockenreichsten Geläuten einer evangelischen Kirche in Köln. 1962 ging der zum Neuguss bestehende Glockenauftrag an die hessische Glockengießerei Rincker aus Sinn bei Wetzlar, wo sie noch im gleichen Jahr feierlich vor dem neu erbauten Turm eingeweiht wurden. Verteilt sind die acht klangschönen Glocken an insgesamt vier Stockwerken in einem engen Stahlglockenstuhl, wo sie außerdem neue Stahljoche in gerader Konstruktion und sämtliche Läuteantriebe erhielten. Gewartet wird die bestehende Glockenanlage von der in Gescher ansässigen Glockengießerei Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock. Im Gesamteindruck überzeugen vor allem die kleinen 2er-Oktavglocken mit ihrer hellen Brillanz und Festlichkeit, während die drei 1er-Oktavglocken sich trotz leichter Dominanz ein wenig zurückhaltend präsentieren. Die differenzierte Läuteordnung besagt, dass das volle Glockengeläut nur an hohen Festtagen und zu bestimmten Anlässen wie Silvester bzw. Jahreswechsel zu hören sei. Der Sonntag wird laut damaligen Information an einem Samstag mit vier Glocken eingeläutet.
Besten Dank für die Aufnahmegenehmigung und das ermöglichte Sonderläuten geht an den Pfarrer Uwe Zimmermann, sowie die Gemeindebürosekretärin Kerstin Schwender. Für das Aufschließen des Turmes geht einen herzlichen Dank an die Küsterin Claudia Pohlmann. Motiv: Griesbacher'sches Idealsextett
Die heutige Kirche in Wilwerwiltz bauten die Diekircher Architekten Leo und Guillaume Gaul zwischen 1960 bis 1963 nach ihren Plänen auf. Am 28. Juli 1963 wurde die fertig gestellte Kirche des Luxemburger Bischofs Léo Lommel konsekriert. In den Neubau wurden aus der alten Kirche folgendes übernommen: Der rechte Seitenaltar, vorher das Hauptaltar der alten Kirche, geht auf das Jahr 1685 zurück und ist nach dem Hl. Willibrord geweiht. Der von 1745 eingeweihte linke Seitenaltar des Hl. Wendelins wurde ebenfalls in den Neubau eingefügt. Die dort aufgestellte Statue aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist eine recht eigenwillige Darstellung des Friesenapostels. Der als Bischof dargestellte Heilige trägt zwar eine Mitra, aber keinen Hirtenstab. Die rechte Hand ist offensichtlich zum Segen erhoben und zeigt drei Finger. Seit 2010 richtet eine aus dem Dominikanerinnen-Kloster in Luxemburg-Limpertsberg stammende Orgel ihren Dienst. Diese gut erhaltene Stahlhuth-Orgel von 1914, mit 19 Registern auf zwei Manualen und einem Pedal ausgestattet, wurde im Originalzustand von der Orgelmanufaktur Georg Westenfelder restauriert und anschließend aufgebaut. Aus heutiger Sicht gehört die Wilwerwiltzer Kirche St. Willibrord als Filialkirche zur Pfarrgemeinschaft Pintsch im Pfarrverband Kiischpelt.
Die sechs Glocken in der Dorfkirche zu Wilwerwiltz zählen zu den musikalischsten Geläute in der Gemeinde Kiischpelt. Aus der alten Kirche wurden zwei Glocken übernommen. Eine davon stammt vom Saarburger Glockengießerei Mabilon aus dem Jahr 1882, das heute nicht erhalten ist. Allerdings waren sie zu schwach und zu klein für den mächtigen Turm. Für dieses Projekt war ein neues Geläute in den 1960er-Jahren vorgesehen, jedoch war wegen des hohen Preises der Kostenvorschlag aus der Glockengießerei Mabilon nicht verwirklicht. Die derzeit einzig erhaltene Glocke stammt aus dem Jahr 1769 von Franciscus Heintz aus Trier. Sie ist dem Hl. Maria, Josef & Donatus geweiht. Sein Klang wirkt für heutige Verhältnisse relativ dünn. Nach 40 Jahren konnte 2006 durch zahlreiche Spenden und lobenswerte Unterstützungen ein neues Geläut in Kauf genommen werden. Zu der vorhandenen Glocke von 1769 goss Bruder Michael Reuter von Maria Laach fünf tonstarke Glocken, die nach der Rippe von Andreas Hamm berechnet wurden. Mit dieser Hamm-Rippe entstand nach der Montage der Glocken, ein sehr musikalisches Geläut mit ausreichend Harmonie. Die Anlage wird von der deutschen Firma Hörz aus Ulm grundlegend gewartet und gecheckt. Das Glockengestühl und die Joche bestehen aus Eichenholz, sogar alle sechs Glocken sind mit neuen Klöppel versehen. So ein wunderbares Geläut hört man nicht alle Tage.
An den sehr netten Küster Will Racké geht einen besonderen Dank für die wunderbare Unterstützung das Sondergeläut zu ermöglichen. Auch an Francis Helm danke ich für die Zusage der Aufnahmen im Glockenturm von Wilwerwiltz. Mit dem ersten Glockengeläute aus dem Großherzogtum Luxemburg habe ich an dem Tag ein neues Kapitel in meiner Laufbahn geschrieben.

Zu der vorhandenen Glocke von 1769 goss Bruder Michael Reuter von Maria Laach fünf tonstarke Glocken, die nach der Rippe von Andreas Hamm berechnet wurden. Mit dieser Hamm-Rippe entstand nach der Montage der Glocken, ein sehr musikalisches Geläut mit ausreichend Harmonie. Die Anlage wird von der deutschen Firma Hörz aus Ulm grundlegend gewartet und gecheckt. Das Glockengestühl und die Joche bestehen aus Eichenholz, sogar alle sechs Glocken sind mit neuen Klöppel versehen. So ein wunderbares Geläut hört man nicht alle Tage.
An den sehr netten Küster Will Racké geht einen besonderen Dank für die wunderbare Unterstützung das Sondergeläut zu ermöglichen. Auch an Francis Helm danke ich für die Zusage der Aufnahmen im Glockenturm von Wilwerwiltz. Mit dem ersten Glockengeläute aus dem Großherzogtum Luxemburg habe ich an dem Tag ein neues Kapitel in meiner Laufbahn geschrieben.

Am 16. August 1957 wurden für die Stiftskirche sechs Glocken aus der Glockengießerei Bachert in Karlsruhe hergestellt. Dieses Geläut, mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 9380 kg, zählt bis heute zu den schönsten Motiven in Kaiserslautern. Der Aufzug des sechsstimmigen Geläutes konnte Anfang November 1957 erfolgen. Der besondere Tag für die Stiftskirchengemeinde war der erste Advent am 1. Dezember 1957, als die sechs Glocken zum ersten Mal vom Hauptturm läuteten. Aufgeteilt sind alle Glocken, in der großen Glockenstube, auf zwei voneinander getrennte Geschosse. Deshalb wurden Metallgitter in waagerechter Position angebracht um die Wartungsarbeiten der Glocken bzw. der Läutemotoren zu erleichtern. Um in den oberen Teil der Anlage zu gelangen, musste man mit der einzigen Leiter auskommen, die nicht hundertprozentig sicher aufgestellt ist. Stattdessen hängen alle sechs Glocken an geraden Stahljochen. Zurzeit hat die Firma Perrot aus Calw ihre Wartungsintervalle. Zuletzt gab es im Frühjahr 2012 einen Motorendefekt bei der Glocke 3, die nach Bau- und Reparaturarbeiten im Turm (Sommer 2012) erfolgreich beseitigt wurde.
Zur Glockenchronik der Stiftskirche wurde um 1800 eine Glocke aus 73 cm Durchmesser von den Metzer Glockengießern Jacques Theyssie und Pierre Gallois angeschafft, die heute nicht in Bestand ist. Georg Hamm aus Frankenthal schuf 1863 vier Glocken mit den Tönen h° - dis' - fis' - h'. Die drei großen Glocken mussten 1917 im Krieg eingeschmolzen werden. Aus der Kaiserslauterer Glockengießerei Pfeifer entstand 1927 ein neues Geläute. Sie kamen in der Tonfolge h° - cis' - dis' - fis' - gis', wurden im zweiten Weltkrieg wieder zu Kriegsmaterialien abgegeben.
Das volle Geläut ist nur an hohen Feiertagen und zum Einläuten des Sonntags (18.00 Uhr) zu hören, sonst entfällt die größte Glocke im Geläut zum Sonntagsgottesdienst.
Bedanken möchte ich bei der Stiftskirche unter der Leitung der neuen Dekanin Dorothee Wüst für die Antragstellung zum Betreten der Glockenstube und das Filmen der Glocken. Auch danken möchte ich beim Pfarrer Matthias Jung für die Terminabsprache und die dazugehörigen Details. Als Unterstützung für das Ein- und Ausschalten des sechsstimmigen Glockengeläutes war der Presbyter Bernd Dülm mit dabei. Auch ihm danke ich ganz herzlich für den reibungslosen Ablauf beim Sondergeläute. Für die mangelhaften Lichtverhältnisse im Turm bitte ich euch zu entschuldigen. Als wir vom Turm kamen, stand eine ältere Dame und fragte, was das für ein Läuten war. Darauf sprach der Presbyter zu ihr, dass es ein Sonderläuten gab, die zu Aufnahmezwecken dienten.
