Rambo (also known as Rambo IV or John Rambo) is a 2008 American/Germanaction film starring Sylvester Stallone reprising his famous role as Cold War/Vietnam veteran John Rambo. Stallone also co-wrote and directed the film. It is the fourth and most recent installment in the Rambo franchise, twenty years since the previous film Rambo III. This film is dedicated to the memory of Richard Crenna, who played Col. Sam Trautman in the first three films, and who died in 2003.
The film is about a former United States Army Special Forces soldier, John Rambo, who is hired by a church pastor to help rescue a group of missionaries who were kidnapped by men from a brutal Burmese military regime. This film shows more killings than any other of the Rambo series - 236. Rambo kills a group of pirates, an entire squad of Burmese soldiers, and then, at the climax of the film, a huge number of Burmese army soldiers whom he shoots with a jeep-mounted machine gun. Stallone justified this in a press conference by saying the violence in the film was to draw attention to the ongoing problems in Myanmar.

Plot: 'Life On Road' centers around two best friends Ricky and Ryzer, who live in a world of gang culture, guns and crime. Ricky however, has a voice of reason from his cousin Lee, who encourages him to follow his dreams and apply for a job in a music studio as a runner. The story begins upbeat and high energy, with a planned robbery on another gang's territory but soon starts to decline into the reality of consequences and bad choices, and the death of Ryzer. A good luck key-ring becomes a symbol of friendship as we follow Ricky's efforts to seek revenge for his best friends death. His despair and confusion weaves alongside his desire to improve his life and make positive choices. New information leads to an irreversible mistake and Ricky descends into a downward spiral that he is only just beginning to understand. A glimmer of hope still remains after an unexpected phone message but is it enough to turn his life around?

Plot: "A Propos __ America" is a visual approach to American -and therefore- the world's contemporary history covering the post 9/11 years up to the Katrina's disaster in Louisiana. It contains four short films and an introduction, all of them independent from each other in terms of structure, themes and motifs. Together, they form a cohesive piece, showing the American reality at the beginning of the third millennium. The introduction is a collage of interviews, where the confusion that reigns now in the country is manifested. The first film is a ride through the streets of Los Angeles which uncover, from a driver's P.O.V., the two sides of the city: the bright one, the one seen in almost every single Hollywood movie; and the dark one, the one that's almost never shown. As a whole, it illustrates the huge gap that still exists in American society. The second one is a walk trough the streets of New York and captures the tremendous power the city exerts on its inhabitants, as well as the unconditional love that almost all New Yorkers feel for their city-no matter their race, economic status or attitude towards life. It also shows the eerie energy felt in NYC after the 9/11 attack, which made people feel that something had changed the city forever. As a whole, it reveals the scar Americans will carry within them since those tragic events. The third piece, shot in Miami over a period of than more than two years, shows where and how Americans go when they want to have fun. We see how Americans interact, how they show themselves off and check each other out. We almost feel as if we were in a Latin American city when the film focuses on the Latin Quarter-which could be any part of the city. There, we see how Latinos (most of them American citizens) let loose with abandon and without inhibitions, not caring too much about how they may look and feel. I like this piece very much, mainly because it is homage to the city that adopted me more than three years ago. In a way, it shows how Americans, sometimes more often that not, feel like foreigners in their own country "An Epilogue", the last short movie, focuses on the most prevalent icon that appears in all the films and in American society: the stars and stripes flag, which unifies, for better or worse, all of the United States. The power of "À Propos de America", in my opinion, lies in its authenticity. The footage was stolen from real life, and with the skillful use of cinema techniques, has been assembled in a unique way that even for me, the director, is remarkably moving. Frankly, even with a Hollywood budget, I wouldn't have been able to reproduce this material. Life can be imitated but not repeated; and in this case, life isn't imitated. It just simply is.

Plot: "Donald and Dot Clock" is a story about two social misfits who meet, fall in love, marry and die. He is a failed, but hopeful dancer who can't keep a job. She is a psychic hot-line counselor who is obsessed with the "Rodent Harmonic Balance". Dot's rats take over the house and prevent the couple from consummating their marriage. Eventually, Donald takes a stand. He sneaks into the house when Dot is away, applies rat poison everywhere and kills the varmints. When she discovers what he has done, Dot throws Donald out. Despondent, Donald commits suicide but is allowed to return from the Afterlife because he hears Dot saying "I love you". At home, they no longer have the interference of rats, but the poison which was used to eliminate the rodents found its way into the couple's last meal. Oblivious to their demise, Donald and Dot laugh and dance to the Afterlife together.

Plot: After various skirmishes, two wounded soldiers, one Bosnian and one Serb, confront each other in a trench in the no man's land between their lines. They wait for dark, trading insults and even finding some common ground; sometimes one has the gun, sometimes the other, sometimes both. Things get complicated when another wounded Bosnian comes to, but can't move because a bouncing mine is beneath him. The two men cooperate to wave white flags, their lines call the UN (whose high command tries not to help), an English reporter shows up, a French sergeant shows courage, and the three men in no man's land may or may not find a way to all get along.

Genres: Comedy, Crime, Drama, Thriller,When I was little I wanted to be king
I built castles in the air but never found my way in
For a week I was Rambo but couldn't take the pace
Then I thought I'd be a rocket man
But never made it into space
All my life I tried so many things I couldn't do
But I can't think of anything I wouldn't try again
Try again for you
I worked to be a wizard I tried it for a year
I had five white rabbits but not one would disappear
I dreamed of being a fireman but that went up in flames
Said okay I'll be a cowboy
But it turned out I'm no Jesse James
All my life I tried so many things I couldn't do
But I can't think of anything I wouldn't try again
Try again for you
I played guitar in a band and finally got laid
Then we fell apart as soon as bills needed to be paid
Got a job in a restaurant where I burned every dish
Was a sidewalk Santa Claus
But I couldn't grant one single wish
I set off to see the world it finally felt right
But I got lost the second day
Sso I went home the following night
All my life I tried too many things I couldn't do
But I can't think of anything I wouldn't try again try again
