As you should know, I like to incorporate story elements of some kind into my reviews. Also, when I waited longer to review the summer 2015 I learned that after the initial release hype has passed, my opinions are much more genuine and revised. In an attempt to provide a more informed sort of narrative to my criticism, I plan to have reviews released some time after the Netflix series “Journey to One” is out, so be patient. Q.) Will you be doing any more B-Daman reviews? A.) Probably. The thing is, B-Daman is a series that goes through cancellations and reboots all the time. Right now, the series is cancelled and probably won’t see anything new released for a few years. Because nothing new is coming out, I’m less interested in covering the toyline. Yes, I could hunt down more Crash, Super, and Zero-2 system B-Daman, but I’m not prepared to shell out heavy after-market asking prices on toys I’m not extremely interested in having at the moment. I still regularly think about Performance Tests that I could do, and when I have time I’ll try and do more. Right now, that’s all I can promise. Q.) What is your favorite B-Daman? A.) Assault=Dragren. While I like a good Rapidfire type, this guy just has such a great balance of Power, Control, and versatility. Q.) Will you be doing any more LBX reviews? A.) Probably not. Unlike B-Daman, I imagine the Danball Senki/LBX series is cancelled for good and the toy-line is pretty much dead at this point. I only planned on collecting the WARS kits and Hyper Functions, and unless there’s a miracle and the series is revived, I think my coverage on it is pretty much finished as well. Q.) Are you still making Lego Transformers on your other channel? A.) I absolutely plan to. In fact, I don’t think I will EVER completely stop making Lego Transformers. I’ve just been going through a severe lack in creativity lately. I just can’t seem to make anything work like I used to and it’s extremely frustrating. I’ve got some ideas in the pipeline for some kind of weekly show on my first channel which will hopefully work towards reigniting my creative spark. I’ll have more about that on “IXRollOutIX” once I’ve fleshed out the concept, though. Stay tuned. Q.) Out of the Lego Transformers you’ve made, which is your favorite? A.) The new version of Quickstop. It’s really one of the only Transformers I’ve made where I went into the design process with an actual plan, and the final product turned out far better than I could have imagined. I really like how he looks in both modes, and I surprised myself with the level of compact complexity in the transformation.
