Viele begeisterte Pferdefreunde möchten mehr über die lange Geschichte und Tradition dieser sehr menschenbezogenen und intelligenten Pferde wissen. Früher konnte man die mächtigen Friesen mit ihrem typischen Fesselbehang vor der Kutsche und im Zirkus bewundern. Heute sind sie besonders beliebt bei den Freizeitreitern.
Dieser Film zeigt die Zucht der Friesen, die besten Hengste und den vielseitigen Einsatz der Pferde vor dem Wagen, unter dem Reiter, in Show und Sport.
Friesenpferde werden auch als schwarze Perlen bezeichnet: das imposante Erscheinungsbild dieser Pferderasse beeindruckt den Betrachter. Friesen sind stark verbreitet und werden hauptsächlich als Fahr- und Reitpferde genutzt.

Kraftvoll und erhaben umkreisten die stolzen Friesen die Tänzer in der Arena. Im perfekten Einklang mit der packenden Musik wollten sie als düstere Raben der verlorenen Spiegelscherbe habhaft werden. Anmutig präsentierten die vier Hengste eine unvergessliche Dressurquadrille und zeigten damit einmal mehr, warum die Friesen zu den absoluten Lieblingen der Show gehören.
Bereits seit 12 Jahren sind die Nordlichter fester Bestandteil der beliebtesten Pferdeshow und runden mit ihren einmaligen Auftritten jede Show auf ganz besondere Weise ab.
Im Interview berichtet Petra Geschonneck, die Chefin des Friesenteams, wie viel Arbeit in der spektakulären Szene steckt. Selten war das Zusammenspiel zwischen Pferden und Tänzern bei APASSIONATA so perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. In engen Kreisen umrundetenn die Friesen die vier Tänzer, die in ihren düsteren Kostümen eindrucksvolle Choreografien präsentieren. Ganz behutsam wurden die Tiere zunächst an die Trampoline, später an die Kostüme und schließlich an die springenden Tänzer gewöhnt. Was für den Zuschauer auf den ersten Blick kaum sichtbar ist, erforderte in der Vorbereitung viel Geduld, Zuneigung und Vertrauen auf allen Seiten. Doch schnell sind Tiere und Menschen zu einem sensationellen Team zusammen gewachsen. Bereits seit 12 Jahren sind die Nordlichter fester Bestandteil der beliebtesten Pferdeshow und runden mit ihren einmaligen Auftritten jede Show auf ganz besondere Weise ab.
Im Interview berichtet Petra Geschonneck, die Chefin des Friesenteams, wie viel Arbeit in der spektakulären Szene steckt. Selten war das Zusammenspiel zwischen Pferden und Tänzern bei APASSIONATA so perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. In engen Kreisen umrundetenn die Friesen die vier Tänzer, die in ihren düsteren Kostümen eindrucksvolle Choreografien präsentieren. Ganz behutsam wurden die Tiere zunächst an die Trampoline, später an die Kostüme und schließlich an die springenden Tänzer gewöhnt. Was für den Zuschauer auf den ersten Blick kaum sichtbar ist, erforderte in der Vorbereitung viel Geduld, Zuneigung und Vertrauen auf allen Seiten. The Travel Tart (sometimes known as Anthony) is a self-proclaimed travel addict who will find any excuse to go travelling.
He discovered he really enjoyed traveling the world when he was sent to a former war zone for work -- Kosovo -- as his first venture outside of Australia and New Zealand. This created a habit of visiting places that most package tourists avoid like the plague. He has since travelled to over 50 countries over six continents -- nowhere near enough!
While travelling, he likes risking his life by utilising barely road-worthy forms of transport such as African mini-buses, suicidal Cairo cabs, and flatulent camels. That's if he's lucky!
His foray into the travel writing world happened by accident -- his dodgy friends thought it was a good idea to convert his silly travel emails into something more substantial -- like articles, and a website.
But not an ordinary travel blog where there are boring anecdotes of places that everyone else has been to! No, he has an eye for the quirkiness of the world, wherever that may be, even his home country of Australia!
I even have an irregularly updated 'beer index' of the website, which lists a nominated beer of each country that I have visited in a price per litre. So the country with the cheapest beer wins! It's not necessarily an indication of quality, but hey, many people have commented that this is the best part of the website!

Let's face it, travel wasn't meant to be taken too seriously! This is in stark contrast to a lot of literature which is quite serious. Stuff that! Have some fun!
I have even written a dodgy travel book which is yet to be published - it's called 'I hope that my god makes you're bus crash and you're the only one who dies'. The title comes from a hustler in Tangier, Morocco, who tried to extract my money for providing advice that I didn't ask for, need, or want!
