World is a common name for the whole of human civilization, specifically human experience, history, or the human condition in general, worldwide, i.e. anywhere on Earth or pertaining to anywhere on Earth.
In a philosophical context it may refer to:
In a theological context, world usually refers to the material or the profane sphere, as opposed to the celestial, spiritual, transcendent or sacred. The "end of the world" refers to scenarios of the final end of human history, often in religious contexts.
World history is commonly understood as spanning the major geopolitical developments of about five millennia, from the first civilizations to the present.
World population is the sum of all human populations at any time; similarly, world economy is the sum of the economies of all societies (all countries), especially in the context of globalization. Terms like world championship, gross world product, world flags etc. also imply the sum or combination of all current-day sovereign states.
The Sunday People is a British tabloid Sunday newspaper, founded as The People on 16 October 1881.
It is published by the Trinity Mirror Group, and shares a website with the Mirror papers. In July 2011 it had an average Sunday circulation of 806,544. By January 2014 the circulation had shrunk to 374,820. Despite its tagline claim to be a "truly independent" newspaper, The People endorsed the Labour Party at the 2015 general election on the recommendation of polling data from its readers.
A people is a plurality of persons considered as a whole, as is the case with an ethnic group or nation. Collectively, for example, the contemporary Frisians and Danes are two related Germanic peoples, while various Middle Eastern ethnic groups are often linguistically categorized as the Semitic people. See the list of contemporary ethnic groups for more examples.
Various republics govern, or claim to govern, in the name of the people. Both the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire used the Latin term Senatus Populusque Romanus, (the Senate and People of Rome). This term was fixed to Roman legionary standards, and even after the Roman Emperors achieved a state of total personal autarchy, they continued to wield their power in the name of the Senate and People of Rome.
A People's Republic is typically a Marxist or socialist one-party state that claims to govern on behalf of the people. Populism is another umbrella term for various political tendencies that claim to represent the people, usually with an implication that they serve the common people instead of the elite.
A cave or cavern is a hollow place in the ground, especially a natural underground space large enough for a human to enter. Caves form naturally by the weathering of rock and often extend deep underground. The word cave can also refer to much smaller openings such as sea caves, rock shelters, and grottos.
Speleology is the science of exploration and study of all aspects of caves and the cave environment. Visiting or exploring caves for recreation may be called caving, potholing, or spelunking.
The formation and development of caves is known as speleogenesis. Caves are formed by various geologic processes and can be variable sizes. These may involve a combination of chemical processes, erosion from water, tectonic forces, microorganisms, pressure, and atmospheric influences.
It is estimated that the maximum depth of a cave cannot be more than 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) due to the pressure of overlying rocks. For karst caves the maximum depth is determined on the basis of the lower limit of karst forming processes, coinciding with the base of the soluble carbonate rocks.
The New World is one of the names used for the Western Hemisphere, specifically the Americas (including nearby islands such as those of the Caribbean and Bermuda).
The term originated in the early 16th century after Europeans made landfall in what would later be called the Americas in the age of discovery, expanding the geographical horizon of classical geographers, who had thought of the world as consisting of Africa, Europe, and Asia, collectively now referred to as the Old World (aka Afro-Eurasia).
The term was first coined by Florentine explorer Amerigo Vespucci. The Americas were also referred to as the "fourth part of the world".
The terms "Old World" vs. "New World" are meaningful in historical context and for the purpose of distinguishing the world's major ecozones, and to classify plant and animal species that originated therein.
One can speak of the "New World" in a historical context, e.g., when discussing the voyages of Christopher Columbus, the Spanish conquest of Yucatán and other events of the colonial period. For lack of alternatives, the term is also still useful to those discussing issues which concern the Americas and the nearby oceanic islands, such as Bermuda and Clipperton Island, collectively. This usage is seen as problematic by many for its narrowness of perspective and implication that discovery by European explorers was the beginning of history for the Americas.
Divers in Mexico discover the ice age skeleton of a teenage girl at the bottom of a cave in Tulum that; experts say could help solve the mystery of the New World's earliest inhabitants. Full Story: A horrible day for a teenage girl perhaps 13,000 years ago - death in a Mexican cave - has turned into a wonderful day for scientists who have managed to coax important secrets out of the oldest genetically intact human skeleton in the New World. Scientists exploring deep beneath the jungles of Mexico's eastern Yucatan peninsula discovered the girl's remains underwater alongside bones of more than two dozen beasts including sabre-toothed tigers, cave bears, giant ground sloths and an elephant relative called a gomphothere. Who knows what darkness lurks deep in the heart of Texas? Cavers know! There are thousands of known caves in Texas and more yet to be discovered. Join some modern day cave explorers as they duck, climb, crawl, and squeeze their way through the dark and mysterious world that exists beneath our feet.
Written language, the hallmark of human civilization, didn't just suddenly appear one day. Thousands of years before the first fully developed writing systems, our ancestors scrawled geometric signs across the walls of the caves they sheltered in. Paleoanthropologist and rock art researcher Genevieve von Petzinger has studied and codified these ancient markings in caves across Europe. The uniformity of her findings suggest that graphic communication, and the ability to preserve and transmit messages beyond a single moment in time, may be much older than we think. This World Heritage spot is being dubbed as a real-life depiction of the popular cartoon The Flinstones. Situated in the Italian city of Matera, Baillicata, the Sassi di Matera is composed of stone homes that date back to the prehistoric period, but up to this day, it remains inhabited by modern generations. The picturesque city has been developed out of the original cave dweller or troglodyte’s way of living. It may look like it has been modernized with rooftops over the stone houses, but one can still see the remnants of its original structure. Sassi has its rock houses carved directly through the stone, and it lies over what once has been a river but is currently a stream. The main purpose of doing so was to gain easy access to water since sewage had not been properly constructed at tha...

In 1879, Spanish archaeologist Marcelino (Antonio Banderas) and his daughter Maria (Allegra Allen) discover seemingly impossible paintings of galloping bison adorning the walls of a hidden cave. The cave of Altamira brings the world together in amazement, drawing people of all types to see the paintings in person. But, Marcelino soon realizes that the art on the walls must be 10,000 years old, earlier than anyone believes possible. The theory threatens to tear Maria and Marcelino’s family apart while the outside world’s astonishment soon turns to fury and fear. The Catholic Church sees his claims as an attack on biblical truth while scientists prove just as dogmatic and reactionary. Maria’s fairytale world grows darker as her family faces disaster and Marcelino’s discovery is repress...
GIANT BAT PEOPLE: Sightings of mysterious human-sized bats have been reported in all corners of the world. They are described as having black or gray fur, a monkey-like face, clawed feet and a 10-15 foot wingspan. In Brazil they are called "bat people." In Mexico, an ancient Mayan cult worshiped the "death bat." The rainforests of Java echo the cries of a bat creature called the "Athol" because of its distinct "a-hool" vocalization. In Vietnam they are known as "night flyers." These winged humanoids are generally 5 feet tall with eerie feminine features. They are known to swoop down on their victims and attack several times. AFRICAN CAVE DEMONS: The continent of Africa has reported many sightings of bat-like beasts. In Cameroon, it is called the "Olitiau," an immense bat creature that was...

The Pink Monkey Birds, whose name Kid credits to inspiration from David Bowie, has been an evolving unit since their earliest albums, and as of 2016 the touring members are bassist Kiki Solis, drummer Ron Miller, and guitarist Mark Cisneros. Kid Congo Powers was profiled by Vogue in late April of 2016 while promoting their fourth album, where he was noted for his iconic sense of punk style. In his Vogue interview he mentions the aesthetic importance of tying the look of the band to match the music. “For me, the whole art of being a band—and I do think it’s an art—is to create a whole world, a whole language, that is every aspect. The Gun Club, we kind of made it up as we went along, but what I learned from The Cramps and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds is that they created a whole uncompro...
In the attached video Im all over the place in describing how china dropa stones are similar to the perubian burial stones and ancient egypt glyphs. Thier is one language that is for all people of our world and beyond our world. It's the laguage of images. Globally the images on ancient artifacts, ancient cave art, ancient glyphs, and many other records all describe how mankind genetically evolved through a precise bridging sequence with that of prehistoric creatures through to current likenesses of today. Shockingly, there are continuing maniplulations and contaminations of mankinds genes occuring today and those responcible are also reaching beyond our world to contaminate otherworlds...Gerone Wright

BS"D Rabbi Haber continues his teachings in Perek 6 of Nefesh HaCHaim. He explains that Rah (Evil) is Ratzon (will) and Tayvah (desire). He sites Rav. Dessler who brings from the Ramban in Chelek 2, and posits that the Rah is part of the Ani (part of me, part of my psychology). This is the way I’m wired. What happened with the Etz HaDaz Tov VaRah (The Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil) is that the person (Adam & Eve, and us, by extension) changed! In the final Tikun however, there will be no evil. The Tikun is that in the Yemot HaMashiach (the days of the Mashiach), we’ll be better than Adam HaRishon in that we’ll get to a place of L'shmah (where we behave only for the sake of Hashem which is Who we're supposed to manifest (like the sun and the moon). Cardiff Metropolitan University - Public & Professorial Lecture Series Professor Steve Gill - Cardiff School of Art & Design "Designing for the Flintstones: How the products of the future may be better designed" March 2012. Overview: We live in a world of ubiquitous computing. Computers are in our cameras, iPods, ovens, washing machines, our children's toys and even in their birthday cards. The phones in our pockets today have millions of times the memory of the computer in the Apollo lunar capsules. Yet many of these computer embedded products are deeply unsatisfactory. Part of the reason is that to all intents and purposes we are cave people with senses and emotions evolved to interact with the physical world in complex and overlapping ways. In this lecture Professor Gill explores some...
We have never had the possibility
To spend a long night with you because...
But we know you like it hard and huge
You are not this kind of girl
We hate and use to send to hell
You'll be welcome
Cause you never say "I'm tired tonight"
We do really want the cave
We promise: she'll be slaked
Both her holes we wanna fill
When ever of course we will
We've never seen the pictures
And we don't know your 'face'
We don't care We can forgot the rest
A lot of fools laught at you
But I swear that we'll never do
You are the best
We will never kick out you
All the stories we heard about you
Had made us so excited
The tongue is going to taste the sailty
Juice of your sin
If you like the golden shower
We don't feel disgust
Everything you want to do is OK
You can trust us
The only thing we wouldn't like
Is the presence of a man
Cause exists the risk to take
Something in the ass
If you don't believe us
We'll explain what we mean
Don't forget we come from
