Rwanda: MIGEPROF Gets New Permanent Secretary

The new Permanent Secretary is now Nadine Umutoni Gatsinzi, who has been the head of Corporate Services Division at Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), a position that has now been given to Edward Kalisa.

Kalisa was until a few months ago, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sports and Culture.

In other appointments, two former mayors; Justus Kangwage (Rulindo) and Hassan Bahame (Rubavu) were appointed respectively; as Head of Decentralisation Department at RGB and Director General for Community Development and Social Affairs in the Ministry of Local Government (MINALOC).

In the same ministry, Yves Bernard Ningabire was appointed Director General for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation.

The cabinet also appointed Maj. Pascal Nzaramba as Director of Airports Operations at the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority.

Meanwhile the meeting approved Easter Monday as a public holiday and adopted the ICT in Education Policy, according to minutes of the meeting signed by the Minister in charge of Cabinet Affairs, Stella Ford Mugabo.
