Before we begin, I would like to thank the
Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which
I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my
Savior, even in something as small as this.
Amen.

Rising before you, from the shadowy underworld of rumor and gossip, stands a seemingly invincible foe
... but take heart, viewer!
Amateur Extension Theater 2000 never gives up, and never surrenders, even the face of the most daunting opposition! I'm your resolutely steadfast host, Alkahest.
Whether for the first time, or the most recent, I'm honored to have you here with us. Now... iiiiiiiiiit's
SHOWTIME!
Wait, sorry, that's a line better suited to
The Big O, isn't it? My bad! Well, I was sounding pretty cool up until that
point, wasn't
I? ... I wasn't? Aww. Now I'm feeling bummed. Well, the show's gotta go on, just the same...
Wind of the Nostalgeo,
AKA Nostalgia in the international release, is an aptly named
RPG for the Nintendo DinkyScreen handheld system. I've finally played it for myself, but for old time's sake (nostalgic!), here's what
Amazon.com has to say about it:
"It is the age of the
Airship. A the end of the
19th century, in a place much like our own, the bold and courageous loaded their dreams upon these flying machines and ventured out into the skies above. One such adventurer was known around the world for his audacity and daring. The legendary
Gilbert Brown was the most famous explorer in all of
England. However, tempting fate one too many times, he crossed paths with a mysterious organization and was never seen again.
Years later
Eddie, Gilbert's son, boards the one thing his father left behind: his airship, the
Maverick.
Leaving the only place he's ever known,
Eddie departs
London in search of his missing father and embarks on an adventure of his own..."
Sound fun? That's because it TOTALLY IS! The game also features excellent music composed by Rei Kondou,
Kaori Komuro, and Shinichiro Sato, such as this track. 'Airship
Battle ~
Paracelsus~' is a unique boss theme heard but once in the entire game. It is the final airship story battle in the entire game, and the boss it represents is a terrifying foe indeed. Able to mend damage wrought upon it, to reduce (if not outright negate) any attacks launched at it, and with the ability to unleash a devastatingly powerful salvo, Paracelsus is a force to be reckoned with indeed.... unless, you know, you leveled up your party and airship right; then you'll probably beat it in like three turns or so.
Ouch.
This is a terrific end-of-the-game battle theme. You can feel the desperation of our heroes as their enemy looms before them, the menace and the vicious intent of
Paracelsus suffusing every single moment of this track.... but even so! Even so, hope will not die! Our heroes won't back down, or retreat! They will fight to the very end, to protect the future of the world itself! Come, Paracelsus! Do your very worst... for we'll be giving
it our absolute best. Ready.... FIGHT!
Wait, that was
Zoids Chaotic Century. Dangit, Toonami! Your quality programming of old haunts my nostalgia-loving mind to this day! Ah well. Three, count 'em, three extensions remain in the queue for today's release; next on AET2k, it's '
Party Battle ~Metheus~', and '
Victory Fanfare' from Nostalgia, followed by '
Recollection' from
Super Robot Wars Complete Box.
Hope you enjoy! Take care, and may
God bless.

I think Paracelsus should've had a second form. And maybe been an optional "epilogue" mode rematch sidequest. Such a cool foe!
