An internet prankster famed for playing tricks on his girlfriend has been slammed for his latest "horrible" and "abusive" prank.
Brad Holmes first went viral on Valentine's Day when he pranked his girlfriend Jenny Davies into thinking he was going to propose.
The 24-year-old, from Southampton, got down on one knee and held out a ring-shaped box before producing a tea bag and asking her to make him a drink.
The couple have since played a number of pranks on each other, with 22-year-old Jenny tricking Brad into believing she was pregnant, before he got her back by making her think he was spending the night with another girl.
However, Brad has been criticised for going too far in his latest prank, after he filmed himself sneaking up on a sleeping Jenny with a pair of scissors before hacking off a chunk of her hair.
A hysterical Jenny wakes up to find Brad dangling her missing plait in front of her, as he says: “Jen, wake up I've a present for you”.
His distraught girlfriend screams: “Oh my ******* god, my hair! What have you done to my hair? Why would you do that?”

And it is not just Jenny who did not take the joke well, with dozens of people rushing to criticise the prank, which many said was akin to domestic abuse.
One wrote: “There's funny then there's just too far! Why would you do that to someone you love? Seriously that's so horrible.”
Another said: "Treat your girl right and stop being abusive for likes. Even if it’s all staged, you’re promoting abuse. You want others to copy your “pranks” on their girlfriends? She deserves so much better than you."

While another viewer wrote: "Cutting someone’s hair off is on par with domestic violence , I hope you realise this. It’s a vile thing to do to someone. You come across as a bully, why this woman is still with you is beyond me."
And one commented: “You're a ******* psychopath God knows why she's with you.”
Although some suggested the prank may have been staged, with Jenny only pretending to be asleep, Brad was still criticised for condoning abusive behaviour.
In the face of heavy criticism, Brad attempted to defend his stunt, writing: "Let’s have this right. I love Jen more then words can explain, I obviously expect people to think that I’m a prick for doing this, which is a fair comment.
"We’re cool, happy as always. I’ve still got a lot of making up to do. But just to let everyone know I already booked her hair appointment for a weave tomorrow before doing this."
