2016 Toyota Rav4 AWD Review - Offroad Testing. The 2016 Toyota Rav4 features a 2.5L engine, 6 speed automatic, and available front wheel drive or all wheel drive. There's also a AWD Hybrid Rav4 model offered. The engine produces 176 HP and 172 lb-ft of torque, and the vehicle is rated at 22 mpg city 29 mpg highway, with 6.3" of ground clearance. The all wheel drive system consists of an electromagnetically control clutch which locks up the drivetrain to send power to the rear, splitting the torque 50/50. When the rear coupler is not locked, torque split can vary from 50/50 to 100/0, with all of the power sent to the front axle to save fuel in scenarios where rear power isn't needed.

The Toyota RAV4 is a Crossover SUV from Toyota. It was the first compact crossover SUV, introduced in Japan and Europe in 1994 and beginning sales in North America in 1996. The vehicle was designed for consumers wanting a vehicle that had most of the benefits of SUVs, such as increased cargo room, higher visibility, and the option of full-time four-wheel drive, along with the maneuverability and better fuel economy of a smaller car. Its name stands for "Recreational Active Vehicle with 4-wheel drive", although not all RAV4s have four-wheel drive, which is optional in some countries. The early success of the RAV4 paved the way for other compact SUVs such as the Ford Escape and the Subaru Forester.
In most countries, the RAV4 is the only compact SUV from Toyota. In other markets, it is the crossover counterpart of the FJ Cruiser. Since the 2006 third generation model, Toyota has offered both short- and long-wheelbase versions of the RAV4. Short-wheelbase versions are retailed in Japan and Europe, with Australia and North America receiving the long-wheelbase versions. Toyota in Japan also sells the longer version as the Toyota Vanguard.

James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno /ˈlɛnoʊ/ (born April 28, 1950) is an American stand-up comedian and television host.
From 1992 to 2009, Leno was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Beginning in September 2009, Leno started a primetime talk show, titled The Jay Leno Show, which aired weeknights at 10:00 p.m. (Eastern Time, UTC-5), also on NBC. After The Jay Leno Show was canceled in January 2010 amid a host controversy, Leno returned to host The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1, 2010.
James "Jay" Leno was born in New Rochelle, New York, in 1950. His mother, Catherine (née Muir; 1911–1993), a homemaker, was born in Greenock, Scotland, and came to the United States at age 11. Leno's father, Angelo (1910–1994), who worked as an insurance salesman, was born in New York to immigrants from Flumeri, Italy. Leno grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, and although his high school guidance counselor recommended that he drop out of school, he later obtained a Bachelor's degree in speech therapy from Emerson College, where he started a comedy club in 1973. Leno's siblings include his late older brother, Patrick, who was a Vietnam veteran and a lawyer.

2016 Toyota Rav4 AWD Review - Offroad Testing. The 2016 Toyota Rav4 features a 2.5L engine, 6 speed automatic, and available front wheel drive or all wheel drive. There's also a AWD Hybrid Rav4 model offered. The engine produces 176 HP and 172 lb-ft of torque, and the vehicle is rated at 22 mpg city 29 mpg highway, with 6.3" of ground clearance. The all wheel drive system consists of an electromagnetically control clutch which locks up the drivetrain to send power to the rear, splitting the torque 50/50. When the rear coupler is not locked, torque split can vary from 50/50 to 100/0, with all of the power sent to the front axle to save fuel in scenarios where rear power isn't needed. 2016년형 RAV4는 2012년에 데뷔한 4세대의 부분 변경 모델입니다. 일단 외관 디자인이 좋아진 게 눈에 띕니다. 새로 적용된 얼굴은 한층 말쑥하고 잘생겼습니다. 실내는 차량 가격을 생각하면 아쉬운 부분이 있습니다. 우선 모니터가 너무 작고, 내장된 기능도 많지 않습니다. 재질도 떨어지는 편이구요. 반면 공간은 꽤 좋은 점수를 줄 만합니다. 특히 2열 공간에서는 경쟁력이 있습니다. 성인 남자가 앉아도 넉넉한 무릎 공간과 머리 위 공간을 확보하고 있습니다. 트렁크도 일반 가솔린 모델 대비 큰 차이가 나지 않습니다. 하이브리드답게 공회전 정숙성은 탁월하고, 주행 중 방음도 잘 된 편입니다. 디젤 SUV 대비 확실한 장점이라고 할 수 있습니다. 가속할 때는 운전대와 시트로 진동이 전달되는데, 이건 시승차만의 문제일 확률이 높습니다. 하체는 부드러운 편이지만 그에 반해 회전 성능은 좋은 편입니다. 2016년형 토요타 RAV4 하이브리드 제원 전장 x 전폭 x 전고(mm) 4,605 x 1,845 x 1,705 축거(mm) 2,660 윤거(전/후)(mm) 1,560 / 1,560 공차 중량(kg) 1,800 차량 총 중량(kg) 2,125 트렁크 기본 용량은 501리터. 2열 시트 접으면 1,633리터로 확대(*dm VDA 기준) 엔진 명칭 / 형식 2.5ℓ 직렬 4기통 DOHC 듀얼 VVT-i 가솔린엔진 배기량(cc) 2,494 최고출력 엔진출력 (PS/rpm) 152 / 5,700 전기모터출력 (PS) 143 총 시스템 출력 (PS) 197 최대토크(kgㆍm/rpm) 21.0 / 4,... -

2016 Toyota Rav4 AWD Review - Offroad Testing. The 2016 Toyota Rav4 features a 2.5L engine, 6 speed automatic, and available front wheel drive or all wheel drive. There's also a AWD Hybrid Rav4 model offered. The engine produces 176 HP and 172 lb-ft of torque, and the vehicle is rated at 22 mpg city 29 mpg highway, with 6.3" of ground clearance. The all wheel drive system consists of an electromagnetically control clutch which locks up the drivetrain to send power to the rear, splitting the torque 50/50. When the rear coupler is not locked, torque split can vary from 50/50 to 100/0, with all of the power sent to the front axle to save fuel in scenarios where rear power isn't needed.
