Die Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Stockade hat mir bislang in meiner Sammlung gefehlt. Aber hier ist sie nun und ich präsentiere sie voller Stolz! Die Stockade ist der Nachfolger der Barricade. Äußerlich hat sich nicht viel getan - eigentlich nur der Paintjob und es ist eine (richtig geile) Schulterstütze dazugekommen. Die Schulterstütze kann 10 Darts aufnehmen, so hat man gleich eine Munitionsreserve. Beim Blaster sind jedoch nur 10 Darts dabei. Auch die für den Betrieb dieses halbautomatischen Blasters notwendigen 3 "AA"-Batterien sind nicht dabei. Die müsst ihr euch also noch besorgen.
Mir gefällt die Stockade vom Aussehen wirklich sehr gut und die Schussleistung ist solides Elite-Niveau. Das ist eine wirkliche Verbesserung zur Barricade.
Im Video gibt es wieder Unboxing, Review und Schusstest - ist dadurch aber etwas länger geworden. Haltet durch! :)

This is a range test for the N-Strike Elite Stockade. It is a flywheel blaster that runs on three AA batteries.
The blaster is the UK version (a very nice friend shipped me one), but it should have identical performance to the US version whenever Hasbro gets around to releasing it.
The UK box says "20m" (~65ft) on the front, but on the back in fine print it says "22m" (~72ft), which is right in line with the 75ft advertised range on US boxes. Hasbro just likes round numbers because they look better. When the official US version is released I'll update the video if the performance ends up radically different for some reason, but I don't expect that.
Shots were fired flat at shoulder height. There was a slight breeze that you hear at the beginning of the video, but it was not present during the actual range test.
Results:
Low: 30ft
Mid: 40ft
High: 46ft

I would NOT recommend modding your Stockade like this! I recently got to try it in a Nerf war of sorts and it was pretty terrible. It damages darts very easily and refuses to feed even slightly damaged/misaligned ammo.

A stockade is an enclosure of palisades and tall walls made of logs placed side by side vertically with the tops sharpened to provide security.
Stockade fortifications were simple forms of defense of military camps or settlements, used since ancient Roman times and earlier. The troops or settlers would build a stockade by clearing a space of woodland and using the trees whole or chopped in half, with one end sharpened on each. They would dig a narrow trench around the area, and stand the sharpened logs side-by-side inside it, encircling the perimeter. Sometimes they would add additional defense by placing sharpened sticks in a shallow secondary trench outside the stockade. In colder regions, sometimes the stockade received a coating of clay or mud that would make the crude wall wind-proof.
Builders could also place stones or thick mud layers at the foot of the stockade, improving the resistance of the wall. From that the defenders could, if they had the materials, raise a stone or brick wall inside the stockade, creating a more permanent defense while working protected.

Die Nerf N-Strike Elite XD Stockade hat mir bislang in meiner Sammlung gefehlt. Aber hier ist sie nun und ich präsentiere sie voller Stolz! Die Stockade ist der Nachfolger der Barricade. Äußerlich hat sich nicht viel getan - eigentlich nur der Paintjob und es ist eine (richtig geile) Schulterstütze dazugekommen. Die Schulterstütze kann 10 Darts aufnehmen, so hat man gleich eine Munitionsreserve. Beim Blaster sind jedoch nur 10 Darts dabei. Auch die für den Betrieb dieses halbautomatischen Blasters notwendigen 3 "AA"-Batterien sind nicht dabei. Die müsst ihr euch also noch besorgen.
Mir gefällt die Stockade vom Aussehen wirklich sehr gut und die Schussleistung ist solides Elite-Niveau. Das ist eine wirkliche Verbesserung zur Barricade.
Im Video gibt es wieder Unboxing, Review und Schusstest - ist dadurch aber etwas länger geworden. Haltet durch! :)

This is a range test for the N-Strike Elite Stockade. It is a flywheel blaster that runs on three AA batteries.
The blaster is the UK version (a very nice friend shipped me one), but it should have identical performance to the US version whenever Hasbro gets around to releasing it.
The UK box says "20m" (~65ft) on the front, but on the back in fine print it says "22m" (~72ft), which is right in line with the 75ft advertised range on US boxes. Hasbro just likes round numbers because they look better. When the official US version is released I'll update the video if the performance ends up radically different for some reason, but I don't expect that.
Shots were fired flat at shoulder height. There was a slight breeze that you hear at the beginning of the video, but it was not present during the actual range test.
Results:
Low: 30ft
Mid: 40ft
High: 46ft
