Aafat (Hindi: आफ़त; translation: Hardship) is 1977 Bollywood film directed by Atma Ram and starring Navin Nischol, Leena Chandavarkar, Amjad Khan, Mehmood, Nazir Hussain.
Aafat is the story of the unmasking of a high level gang involved in trafficking of drugs and smuggled diamonds by Amar a C.B.I. officer and Chaya, a police officer. It is the story of Shera, a hired killer, who rises to great success in the underworld of crime, until one day he is trapped. Aafat begins with the sudden and tragic Killing of a C.B.I. man at the airport, which leads Amar and the audience through a maze of exciting events. Amar is joined in the investigation by Mahesh a crime reporter, who unravels quite a few mysterious. A not so discreet chase of a girl who frequents a library to which Amar and Mahesh and arrived following two suspicious characters, leads to a vice den. The girl involved is Rajni sister of Chaya the police officer Chaya but now in Amar's Love. Aafat has many characters of the world of crime, who are accosted by Amar, but the most significant is Champa, who signs and dances on the street, sells drugs, but makes some mistake for which she pays dearly. Amar and Chaya risk their very lives trying to solve the mystery behind the whole operation. Mahesh and Rajni play their part.
Inspector Amar and Inspector Chhaya are after criminal Hardayal. Amar and Chhaya fall in love. Amar goes beyond call of his duty to catch Hardayal and hence suspended. Amar is caught by Hardayal and imprisoned. Now Chhaya is supposed find criminal Hardayal.

Faryal (born 3 November 1945 in Syria) is an Indian film actress and dancer of mixed Indian and Arabic descent working in Hindi films. She was a popular Bollywood cabaret dancer and actress in the 1960s and 70's.
Faryal was born in the Damascus area of Syria on 3 November 1945 to an Indian father and a Syrian mother. She completed her education at Loretto Convent, Simla, Cathedral High School and St. Xavier's College, Bombay. Faryal worked for a while as an air hostess in Air India before joining films. She is a product of the FilmaIaya School of Acting.
Faryal married her long-time boyfriend after quitting movies, and she is currently living in Israel.
Faryal entered Bollywood in 1965 in the black-n-white movie Zindagi aur Maut, as a lead role opposite Pradip Kumar. This film contained famous song "Dil Laga kar hum ye samjhe" sung solo by Asha Bhonsle and Mahender Kapoor. both these songs are available on YouTube. Faryal was liked by people and resulted in her getting lead role in film Biradari opposite Shashi Kapoor. The movie was a total flop. She was noted for her role as a cabaret dancer in the movie Jewel Thief released in 1967. After the movie's release, offers started pouring in. In an interview in 1973, Faryal stated that "Ever since Goldie cast me in that glamorous dancer's role in Jewel Thief, film makers have looked upon me as an "excellent cabaret dancer". "Whereas in reality I have never learnt dancing,". "I don't even like dancing; I rather hate it". She was also noticed for her roles in Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz starrer 'Sachcha Jhootha' and Dharmendra-Waheeda Rehman starrer 'Man Ki Aankhen'. At first afraid of being typecast, Faryal was reluctant to accept the numerous offers that she received soon after the release of Jewel Thief. But gradually she realized that if she refused the roles there were ten others ready to replace her. And now the bath tub scene in Apradh released in 1972 had given me an even worse image". Faryal retired from movies in 1984 after her performance as the girlfriend of Jeetendra in Gold Medal.

She did not restrict herself as a leading lady as she was mostly considered for dancer/vamp or supporting roles.
She got more recognition after being nominated in Filmfare Best Supporting Actress category for her performance as a sensuous village belle Dhanno in the Uttam Kumar-Sharmila Tagore film Amanush (1975). This role was a total deviation from her modern sex-symbol well-educated western image. Besides being noticed for her acting prowess she was also appreciated for her western-style dance numbers. She was also a regular feature in lower-grade horror films including Hotel, Mangalsutra, Saat Saal Baad and Ghabrahat.

Prema Narayan
Prema Narayan (born 4 April 1955) is a Model and Bollywood actress-dancer. She has acted in Hindi and Bengali cinema. She was the Femina Miss India World 1971. and represented India at Miss World 1971.
Early life
Prema Narayan was born in Andhra Pradesh. She is the niece of actor Anita Guha.
Career
Prema Narayan was an English teacher in a convent school. Later she opted for modelling. In 1971, she participated in Femina Miss India contest and was crowned Femina Miss India World 1971. She represented India at Miss World 1971 but did not place. The same year she was appointed to represent India at Queen of the Pacific pageant held in Australia where she was crowned 1st runner-up.
Acting career
She chose Bollywood after offers started coming her way after winning the Femina Miss India contest. Her performance in films such as Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain (1973) and Maa Bahen Aur Biwi (1973) were noticed. She did not restrict herself as a leading lady as she was mostly considered for dancer/vamp or supporting roles.

Plot: After the passing away of her parents in an automobile accident, Radhika moves in to live with her aunt, Malathi, and studies Zoology in Lexicon Science College. She is very friendly with Basu Subtankar and both, along with other girls, create quite a ruckus, much to the chagrin of their teachers and the College Principal. In addition to this, they are also staunch rivals of NRI Geetha Damodar, who wants to be the Student Chair. Radhika competes, there is a tie, but the teachers overturn Radhika's votes due to many complaints against her, and elect Geetha as the Chair. When Malathi wants Radhika to wed, both girls create a fictional character, name him Ramesh, and tell Malathi that Radhika is in love with Ramesh. Complications arise when a real male named Ramesh surfaces, is subsequently killed, and the duo become suspects amidst a web of deceit and lies created by one of four persons in their lives, namely Malati herself, Geetha, a mysterious woman who sometimes poses as Ramesh's mother and other times as Geetha's guardian, and an fourth unknown person - leading the duo to a roller-coaster ride with both the police and the real killer on their tails.

The girl involved is Rajni sister of Chaya the police officer Chaya but now in Amar's Love. Aafat has many characters of the world of crime, who are accosted by Amar, but the most significant is Champa, who signs and dances on the street, sells drugs, but makes some mistake for which she pays dearly. Amar and Chaya risk their very lives trying to solve the mystery behind the whole operation. Mahesh and Rajni play their part.
Inspector Amar and Inspector Chhaya are after criminal Hardayal. Amar and Chhaya fall in love. Amar goes beyond call of his duty to catch Hardayal and hence suspended. Amar is caught by Hardayal and imprisoned. Now Chhaya is supposed find criminal Hardayal.

Faryal (born 3 November 1945 in Syria) is an Indian film actress and dancer of mixed Indian and Arabic descent working in Hindi films. She was a popular Bollywood cabaret dancer and actress in the 1960s and 70's.
Faryal was born in the Damascus area of Syria on 3 November 1945 to an Indian father and a Syrian mother. She completed her education at Loretto Convent, Simla, Cathedral High School and St. Xavier's College, Bombay. Faryal worked for a while as an air hostess in Air India before joining films. She is a product of the FilmaIaya School of Acting.
Faryal married her long-time boyfriend after quitting movies, and she is currently living in Israel.
Faryal entered Bollywood in 1965 in the black-n-white movie Zindagi aur Maut, as a lead role opposite Pradip Kumar. This film contained famous song "Dil Laga kar hum ye samjhe" sung solo by Asha Bhonsle and Mahender Kapoor. both these songs are available on YouTube. Faryal was liked by people and resulted in her getting lead role in film Biradari opposite Shashi Kapoor. The movie was a total flop. She was noted for her role as a cabaret dancer in the movie Jewel Thief released in 1967. After the movie's release, offers started pouring in. In an interview in 1973, Faryal stated that "Ever since Goldie cast me in that glamorous dancer's role in Jewel Thief, film makers have looked upon me as an "excellent cabaret dancer". "Whereas in reality I have never learnt dancing,". "I don't even like dancing; I rather hate it". She was also noticed for her roles in Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz starrer 'Sachcha Jhootha' and Dharmendra-Waheeda Rehman starrer 'Man Ki Aankhen'. At first afraid of being typecast, Faryal was reluctant to accept the numerous offers that she received soon after the release of Jewel Thief. But gradually she realized that if she refused the roles there were ten others ready to replace her. And now the bath tub scene in Apradh released in 1972 had given me an even worse image". Faryal retired from movies in 1984 after her performance as the girlfriend of Jeetendra in Gold Medal.

This film contained famous song "Dil Laga kar hum ye samjhe" sung solo by Asha Bhonsle and Mahender Kapoor. both these songs are available on YouTube. Faryal was liked by people and resulted in her getting lead role in film Biradari opposite Shashi Kapoor. The movie was a total flop. She was noted for her role as a cabaret dancer in the movie Jewel Thief released in 1967. After the movie's release, offers started pouring in. In an interview in 1973, Faryal stated that "Ever since Goldie cast me in that glamorous dancer's role in Jewel Thief, film makers have looked upon me as an "excellent cabaret dancer". "Whereas in reality I have never learnt dancing,". "I don't even like dancing; I rather hate it". She was also noticed for her roles in Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz starrer 'Sachcha Jhootha' and Dharmendra-Waheeda Rehman starrer 'Man Ki Aankhen'. At first afraid of being typecast, Faryal was reluctant to accept the numerous offers that she received soon after the release of Jewel Thief. But gradually she realized that if she refused the roles there were ten others ready to replace her. And now the bath tub scene in Apradh released in 1972 had given me an even worse image". Faryal retired from movies in 1984 after her performance as the girlfriend of Jeetendra in Gold Medal.

Synopsis - Vijay lives a wealthy lifestyle with his widowed dad, Mohan, and is betrothed to Gayetri Prasad when they were still children. Now both are adults and are attracted to each other. Gayetri, who lives a middle-class lifestyle with her dad, Badri, and mom, Satyavati, in Madhavpur, is soon married to Vijay, but realizes that he is an atheist, while she is a devout Hindu, and worshiper of Lord Shiv, and it was perhaps for this reason that their marriage ceremony was marred by several accidents, including Vijay being mauled by a runaway buffalo, and a fire breaking out at the Mandap itself. On their wedding night, Gayetri is subjected to more shock and trauma as she gets to witness a different Vijay, someone who is lusty, and much more eager to have his way with her, than make love to her. The rest of the family also find out, have Vijay examined by a doctor, who prescribes some rest, and then a discharge. However, Vijay relapses, leaving the family no alternative but to call in a Tantrik, Bajrangi Baba, as they fear he may be possessed by a demon. Gayetri and the rest of the family will soon find out that Vijay is indeed possessed by Kamini, a girl who he allegedly romanced during his college days in a hostel, but refused to marry, leading to her death. Now Kamini is back with a vengeance - and a vow to destroy this marriage at any and all costs - even if it means killing both Gayetri and Vijay - and there is no power on Earth that can stop her.

She is unable to recall the incidents surrounding the trauma, and is unable to get appropriate treatment. Amit (Farooq Shaikh) meets with Geeta, and falls in love with her. She is able to relate to Amit, and the doctors observe some progress in her treatment. Amit and Geeta both fall in love with each other. However, Amit is to marry Neena (Prema Narayan), and Amit's elder brother, Ravi (Shreeram Lagoo) will not permit him to marry a girl with a mental condition. Navarasa Nata Saarvabhowma Kailkala Satyanarayana is a film producer and director in Telugu Cinema. With an active acting career spanning over nearly 40 years, there is no role this gentleman cannot adorn. Let it be social drama, mythology or any genre, Satyanarayana peformed various characters involving aggression, anger, sympathy, comedy and the list is endless. He entered Telugu Film Industry through a movie called Sipayi Koothuru, produced by D. L. Narayana. The reason is his striking resemblance with the super star then Mr. N.T.Rama Rao. In most of his initial movies, he was chosen as a dupe for N.T Rama Rao. After playing several dupe roles for N.T. Rama Rao, Satyanarayana was given an offer by N.T.Rama rao to act in an independent role in Apoorva Sahasra Siraccheda Chintamani in 1960.
His journey in Telugu Film Industry has been really huge with an enormous number of 200 plus movies. He is much closely related with the role he played as "Yamadharma Raja" in many movies. He was also awarded with Nandi Award for Best Feature Film for his own production film Bangaru Kutumbam. He is one of the proud recipients of Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for lifetime achievement. This is a very prestigious award in Telugu film industry which is given only to the much recognized contributors in Telugu Cinema. Kaikala was given this award in 2011.
