Amir (also spelled Ameer or Emir, Arabic: أمير, Turkish: Emir, Persian: امير, Hebrew: אמיר, pronounced [aːmˈiːr]) is a masculine name with two meanings, one is Arabic/Hebraic origin derived from the three letters AMR which means 'to give orders' or a "Prince". The title Emir in Arabic, which is essentially the same word as Amir, therefore means: "one who gives orders". It also means summit of a tree in Hebrew; and other one in Persian is pronounced in the same way but it has a different meaning, it consists of two parts; "A" which means "Un" and "mir" which is the root of the verb "Mordan مُرَدن" ( to die ), so Amir in Persian means the one who [his spirit and his memory] will never die.
Why do I always fall in love with the girl that is dropped by all the other
guys?
This is my chances, much more indefinate I do not think that I will ever be
content.
It's not my fault, I met a girl and in no time shes cold, and, surrounded, and
confused.
Too many choices, too many voices telling her that shes the prettiest, she
knows I couldn't choose.
Chorus
But i've been looking on the bright side
I've been looking on the bright side
maybe she will see my inside
then it will be so clear
I am the one for you, the one for you my dear.
put in my time, wrote her a letter thought it was clever so i sent it but still
felt a bit unsure
This girl was something, made her a mix tape with all the love songs from the
80's shes a big fan of the cure
Chorus
I'm not trying to apply pressure im not trying to intervien just wanna know if
i measure up to the boy of your dreams
