Reed Howes (July 5, 1900 – August 6, 1964) was an American model who later became an actor in silent and sound films.
He was born as Hermon Reed Howes in Washington, D.C. in 1900to Edwin L. Howes and Grace LaForest Howes (nee Meserve). He served in the US Navy in the closing stages of World War I. After the war Howes attended the University of Utah where he graduated. He later went to Graduate School at Harvard University and then entered show business appearing in Vaudeville in stock roles.
In the early 1920s Howes began modeling shirts and detachable collars produced by Cluett Peabody & Company. Howes was one of several men known as Arrow Collar Men (others were Neil Hamilton, Fredric March, Brian Donlevy, Jack Mulhall and allegedly Ralph Forbes) who were the models seen in the Cluett Peabody company's advertisements for the apparel drawn by illustrator J. C. Leyendecker. A 1924 advertisement by film company FBO capitalizing on Howes Arrow Collar popularity has Howes: "Acknowledged and acclaimed America's handsomest man To be starred in a series of Eight Productions" .
Olive Borden (July 14, 1906 – October 1, 1947) was an American film and stage actress who began her career during the silent film era. Nicknamed "The Joy Girl", Borden was known for her jet-black hair and overall beauty.
At the peak of her career in the mid-1920s, Borden was earning $1,500 a week. In 1927, she walked out on her contract with Fox after refusing to take a pay cut. By 1929, her career began to wane due to her reputation for being temperamental and her difficulty transitioning to sound films. She made her last film, Chloe, Love Is Calling You, in 1934 and moved on to stage work for a time. By the late 1930s, she had declared bankruptcy and stopped acting. During World War II, she joined the WACs. She was later honorably discharged after sustaining a foot injury and attempted to make a comeback in films. However, Borden's attempts to get back into acting were hindered by her alcoholism and health problems.
In 1945, she began working at the Sunshine Mission, a home for destitute women located in the skidrow section of Los Angeles. She died there in October 1947 of a stomach ailment and pneumonia at the age of 41.
Rod La Rocque (November 29, 1898 – October 15, 1969) was an American actor.
He was born Roderick Ross LaRocque in Chicago, Illinois to Edmund LaRocque and Ann (née Rice) LaRocque. His father was of French-Canadian descent and his mother was of Irish descent. He began appearing in stock theater at the age of seven and eventually ended up at the Essanay Studios as a teenager in Chicago where he found steady work until the studios closed. He then moved to New York City and worked on the stage until he was noticed by Samuel Goldwyn who took him to Hollywood. Over the next two decades, he appeared in films and made the transition to sound films.
In 1927, he married Hungarian actress Vilma Bánky in a lavish and highly publicized wedding. They were married until his death in 1969. He retired from movies in 1941 and became a real estate broker.
For his contribution to the film industry, La Rocque was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
La Rocque is a commune in the Calvados department in the Basse-Normandie region in northwestern France.
Maxine Doyle (January 1, 1915 — May 7, 1973) was an American film actress.
Doyle appeared in almost forty films between 1933 and 1946 and is known for her work at Republic Pictures.
She was married to William Witney, a film director, whom she met while filming the serial film S.O.S. Coast Guard (1937); they had one child.
Known privately as Maxine Doyle Witney, she died at age 58 from complications from cancer.

There's a revolution dawning
And love is on our side
If we answer to the calling
The light will guide our way in the night
Through so many changes we stand for what is real
In spite if the persecution
We live to do His sacred will
Can you feel it coming?
In the name of love
I see a new day dawning
Rolling like a river, flowing to a sea of
Blood, blood, blood
Cover my life with the blood
Blood, blood, blood
Cover my life with the blood
Now take a look around you
Tell me what it is you see
I see the masses crying out to be set free
Can you feel it coming?
In the name of love
I see a new day dawning
Rolling like a river, flowing to a sea of
Blood, blood, blood
Cover my life with the blood
Blood, blood, blood
Cover my life with the blood
Blood, blood, blood
Cover my life with the blood
