David A. Stallworth (born (1941-12-20)December 20, 1941) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for eight seasons and was a member of the New York Knicks' 1969–70 championship-winning team.
A 6'7" forward/center from Dallas' Madison High School, Stallworth graduated in 1961 and attended Wichita State University. In his three seasons with the Shockers, he set 18 school records, including the highest career point per game average (24.2). Stallworth helped the team reach the 1964 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, the school's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament, and was named to the All-American team twice. He earned the nickname "Dave the Rave" while playing at Wichita State. In the 1965 NBA Draft, Stallworth was selected in the first round by the New York Knicks, with the third overall pick.
Ronald Tobias Stallworth (born February 25, 1966 in Pensacola, Florida) is a former professional American football defensive end who played for two seasons with the New York Jets of the National Football League. At 6' 5" 262 lb., Stallworth played college football at Auburn University in Alabama.
In 1983 while attending Woodham High School in Pensacola he was named USA Today Defensive High School Player of the Year.
He later worked as a financial adviser for Merrill Lynch.

During the Knicks' slide into futility, there were signs of better things to come. In 1964, the Knicks drafted Willis Reed, who went on to become 1965's NBA Rookie of the Year. In 1965, the Knicks were given an extra first-round draft pick by the NBA (as were the San Francisco Warriors, who owned the worst record in the league's Western Division in 1964-65) and took advantage by drafting Bill Bradley and Dave Stallworth. In 1967, right after the Knicks made it to the playoffs for the first time since 1959, the Knicks hired Red Holzman as their head coach. With Holzman at the helm, and young players such as Bill Bradley and Walt "Clyde" Frazier, the Knicks were a playoff team again in 1968.
