The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.

Shut up
"Shut up" is a direct command with a meaning very similar to "be quiet"', but which is commonly perceived as a more forceful command to stop making noise or otherwise communicating, such as talking. The phrase is probably a shortened form of "shut up your mouth" or "shut your mouth up". Its use is generally considered rude and impolite.
Initial meaning and development
Before the twentieth century, the phrase "shut up" was rarely used as an imperative, and had a different meaning altogether. To say that someone was "shut up" meant that they were locked up, quarantined, or held prisoner. For example, several passages in the King James Version of the Bible instruct that if a priest determines that a person shows certain symptoms of illness, "then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days". This meaning was also used in the sense of closing something, such as a business, and it is also from this use that the longer phrase "shut up your mouth" likely originated.

Chris Brown
Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown (born May 5, 1989) is an American singer, dancer, rapper and actor. Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows from a young age. Having signed with Jive Records in 2004, Brown released his self-titled debut studio album the following year. It peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and was later certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). With his first single "Run It!" peaking atop the US Billboard Hot 100, Brown became the first male artist as a lead since Diddy in 1997 to have his debut single top the chart. His second album Exclusive (2007) spawned his second Hot 100 number one "Kiss Kiss", in addition to "With You" and "Forever". The album was also certified double platinum by the RIAA.
In 2009, Brown received much media attention after pleading guilty to felony assault of his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna; he was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service. His third album Graffiti was released later that year, and included the top-twenty single "I Can Transform Ya". Brown's fourth album F.A.M.E. (2011) became his first to top the Billboard 200; it spawned the successful singles "Yeah 3x", "Look at Me Now", and "Beautiful People". F.A.M.E. earned Brown his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 54th Grammy Awards. His fifth album Fortune was released in 2012. However, after the release of Exclusive, Brown's albums have not been well received commercially or by music critics, with the exception of X, which received a normalized rating of 63. Brown's seventh studio album Royalty was released on December 18, 2015.

Kangaroo court
A kangaroo court is a judicial tribunal or assembly that blatantly disregards recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing in the territory within which it resides. Merriam-Webster defines it as a "mock court in which the principles of law and justice are disregarded or perverted". The term may also apply to a court held by a legitimate judicial authority who intentionally disregards the court's legal or ethical obligations.
A kangaroo court is often held to give the appearance of a fair and just trial, even though the verdict has in reality already been decided before the trial has begun.
Etymology
Although the term kangaroo court has been erroneously explained to have its origin from Australia's courts while it was a penal colony, the first published instance is from an American source in the year 1853. Some sources suggest that it may have been popularized during the California Gold Rush of 1849, along with mustang court, as a description of the hastily carried-out proceedings used to deal with the issue of claim jumping miners. Ostensibly the term comes from the notion of justice proceeding "by leaps", like a kangaroo. Another possibility is that the phrase could refer to the pouch of a kangaroo, meaning the court is in someone's pocket. The phrase is popular in the UK, US, Australia and New Zealand and is still in common use.

Originaltitel: The Mortician Der ansässige Leichenbestatter, der in sich zurückgezogen und schreckhaft und verängstigt im Umgang mit Menschen ist, geht seiner Arbeit gewissenhaft und ruhig nach. Die von Gewalt beherrschte Stadt meidet er, wenn er kann, in seiner Freizeit zieht er sich zurück und präpariert Tiere. Sein Leben verändert sich, als eine Leiche mit einem Tattoo untersucht. Kurz darauf tritt der junge Kane in sein Leben, der unbedingt in das Leichenschauhaus will, um seine Mutter zusehen. Gleichzeitig wird der Junge von Carver, einem brutalen Gangster gesucht. Indem der Sezierer den Jungen schützen will, wird er selbst in den Fall verstrickt und steht tödlichen Gefahren gegenüber, die ihn zum Handeln zwingen und ... Method Man (The Wire, Sinners & Saints, Wu Tang Clan) ist Der Sezierer! Was auf den ersten, unbedarften Blick klingt wie eine Schlagzeile für einen neuen Torture-Flick, erweist sich bei genauerem Hinschauen als ein stimmiges, sehr düsteres, teils deprimierendes Drama mit Noir Einflüssen! Dabei beweist der Hauptdarsteller erneut, dass er sein Handwerk als Mime auch jenseits von Rollenklischees versteht! Doch ich eile voraus! Die Geschichte handelt von dem örtlichen Leichenbestatter (Method Man), der sehr zurückgezogen und schreckhaft, mit beinahe autistischen Zügen, in seiner eigenen Welt der Toten lebt. Diese geben ihm Sicherheit, er gibt ihnen auf ihrem Weg den letzten Respekt und ihre Würde. Da e sich den Toten näher fühlt als den Lebenden, präpariert er in seiner Freizeit Tiere. Eines Tages untersucht er die Leiche einer jungen Frau mit auffälligen Tattoos. Als kurze Zeit später der junge Kane bei ihm vorbeischaut, um unbedingt diese Leiche zu sehen, und sein neuer Gehilfe ihm seine gewohnte Ruhe ebenfalls nimmt, forscht er nach. Er trifft auf den brutalen Kleinkriminellen Carver, welcher den Jungen sucht. Als der Sezierer Kane versucht zu schützen, gerät er immer tiefer in den Fall, und damit in eine Welt, die er eigentlich nie kennenlernen wollte. Mit seinem zweiten Spielfilm liefert Regisseur Gareth Maxwell Roberts (Kill Kill Faster Faster) ein sehr ruhig erzähltes, sehr düsteres und nüchtern gefilmtes Sozialdrama, welche einen intensiven und deprimierenden blick auf die moderne, urbane Gesellschaft wirft. Gerade dem Hauptdarsteller gelingt es hier beeindruckend, seinem Charakter sowohl etwas Beunruhigendes als auch Liebenswertes zu verleihen. Der nahezu völlige Verzicht auf visuelle Effekte, aber dazu das gekonnte Spiel mit Farben und Stimmungen, unterstützt durch einen grandios gewählten Soundtrack zentriert die Gewichtung des Filmes viel mehr auf das Seelenleben seiner Protagonisten als auf den bloßen Schauwert. Die Blu ray aus dem Hause Ascot Elite liefert dazu ein gewohnt hohes technisches Niveau bei Bild und Ton, im Bonussektor befinden sich dann aber lediglich ein Trailer und eine Programmshow. Der Sezierer ist ein düsterer, eindringlich gespielter britischer Thriller mit Dramaelementen für Zuschauer, die Lust auf einen intensiven aber sehr ruhigen Film haben, der sich Zeit lässt, seine Stimmung und Atmosphäre aufzubauen, und dabei seine Geschichte zu entwickeln. Method Man (The Wire, Sinners & Saints, Wu Tang Clan) ist Der Sezierer! Was auf den ersten, unbedarften Blick klingt wie eine Schlagzeile für einen neuen Torture-Flick, erweist sich bei genauerem Hinschauen als ein stimmiges, sehr düsteres, teils deprimierendes Drama mit Noir Einflüssen! Dabei beweist der Hauptdarsteller erneut, dass er sein Handwerk als Mime auch jenseits von Rollenklischees versteht!
Doch ich eile voraus!
Die Geschichte handelt von dem örtlichen Leichenbestatter (Method Man), der sehr zurückgezogen und schreckhaft, mit beinahe autistischen Zügen, in seiner eigenen Welt der Toten lebt. Diese geben ihm Sicherheit, er gibt ihnen auf ihrem Weg den letzten Respekt und ihre Würde. Da e sich den Toten näher fühlt als den Lebenden, präpariert er in seiner Freizeit Tiere.
Eines Tages untersucht er die Leiche einer jungen Frau mit auffälligen Tattoos. Als kurze Zeit später der junge Kane bei ihm vorbeischaut, um unbedingt diese Leiche zu sehen, und sein neuer Gehilfe ihm seine gewohnte Ruhe ebenfalls nimmt, forscht er nach. Er trifft auf den brutalen Kleinkriminellen Carver, welcher den Jungen sucht. Als der Sezierer Kane versucht zu schützen, gerät er immer tiefer in den Fall, und damit in eine Welt, die er eigentlich nie kennenlernen wollte.
Mit seinem zweiten Spielfilm liefert Regisseur Gareth Maxwell Roberts (Kill Kill Faster Faster) ein sehr ruhig erzähltes, sehr düsteres und nüchtern gefilmtes Sozialdrama, welche einen intensiven und deprimierenden blick auf die moderne, urbane Gesellschaft wirft. Gerade dem Hauptdarsteller gelingt es hier beeindruckend, seinem Charakter sowohl etwas Beunruhigendes als auch Liebenswertes zu verleihen. Der nahezu völlige Verzicht auf visuelle Effekte, aber dazu das gekonnte Spiel mit Farben und Stimmungen, unterstützt durch einen grandios gewählten Soundtrack zentriert die Gewichtung des Filmes viel mehr auf das Seelenleben seiner Protagonisten als auf den bloßen Schauwert.
Die Blu ray aus dem Hause Ascot Elite liefert dazu ein gewohnt hohes technisches Niveau bei Bild und Ton, im Bonussektor befinden sich dann aber lediglich ein Trailer und eine Programmshow.
Der Sezierer ist ein düsterer, eindringlich gespielter britischer Thriller mit Dramaelementen für Zuschauer, die Lust auf einen intensiven aber sehr ruhigen Film haben, der sich Zeit lässt, seine Stimmung und Atmosphäre aufzubauen, und dabei seine Geschichte zu entwickeln. Changing Asia - a Japanese Perspective: How to Read Asia Today
Asia is currently experiencing a period of extensive political and economic change. Recent leadership transitions in China and North Korea have bred both challenges and opportunities. The US has announced a pivot toward the Asia–Pacific region, but remains preoccupied by events in the Middle East. Japan's economy appears to be recovering after a long period of stagnation, while Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is seemingly altering the fundamental tenets of the country’s security policy, which has remained unchanged for more than half a century. This presentation by former Japanese Ambassador to the US Ichiro Fujisaki provides a Japanese view of such key recent developments across the region.

To date, international diplomatic efforts to address the Ukraine crisis – the most severe threat to European security since the Cold War – have been episodic and largely unsuccessful. Three highly experienced negotiators from Russia, the US, and the EU discussed the attempts thus far and how they might be improved going forward.
The Hon. Vladimir Lukin was the special envoy of the Russian president for the February 21st talks in Kiev between then-President Viktor Yanukovych and opposition leaders. He served as Russia’s ambassador to the US from 1992-1994, in various positions in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and as an MP in the Russian State Duma. From 2004-2014, he was the Human Rights Commissioner of Russia. He was one of the founders of the Yabloko political party. He received his PhD in History from Moscow State Pedagogical Institute.
The Hon. Richard Burt serves as managing director at McLarty Associates, where he has led the firm’s work in Europe and Eurasia since 2007. He was the chief US negotiator in the Strategic Arms Reduction Talks with the Soviet Union that produced the landmark START agreement. Prior to this, he served as US ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany; assistant secretary of state for European and Canadian affairs; and director of the political-military affairs bureau. From 1973 to 1977, he worked for the IISS, first as a research associate, then as editor of Survival, and finally as assistant director of the Institute.
Sir Michael Leigh is a Transatlantic Academy Fellow, consultant and senior advisor to the German Marshall Fund. He joined GMF after more than 30 years in EU institutions. In 2006, he became Director-General for Enlargement at the European Commission. Prior to that, he served for three years as external relations deputy director-general with responsibility for European Neighborhood Policy, relations with Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, Central Asia, Middle East, and the Mediterranean countries; and as chief negotiator for several EU Accession Negotiations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University and a PhD in political science from MIT.

Japan's economy appears to be recovering after a long period of stagnation, while Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is seemingly altering the fundamental tenets of the country’s security policy, which has remained unchanged for more than half a century. This presentation by former Japanese Ambassador to the US Ichiro Fujisaki provides a Japanese view of such key recent developments across the region.
