In Thomas & Friends, the Island of Sodor is home to a narrow gauge railway in the hills. These lines and the engines who work on them are some of the oldest on the island. The narrow gauge railway has some contact with The Fat Controller's standard gauge engines, but the location of the railway leaves the little engines in relative isolation.
Victor is a dark red Hispanic tank engine in charge of the Sodor Steamworks. He supervises all the engines who journey in and out of the workshops, as well as Kevin, the clumsy yard crane. Victor always has a helpful, constructive disposition and is good-humored with everyone he meets. He speaks with a Cuban accent and spoke Spanish when he first came to Sodor.
Victor was introduced in the feature-length special Hero of the Rails. The show's staff were researching real-life engine workshops as inspiration for the Steamworks when they learned that one had a self-contained narrow-gauge line, used to transport parts internally. The staff decided they wanted an engine with a cab, and chose as a prototype ALCo's #1173, which was specially built for a sugar plantation line in Cuba. Some artistic licence was taken, as the original #1173 is a standard gauge locomotive. Victor made multiple further appearances in the thirteenth series, and has appeared in every series and special since.

He scored four runs with a highest score of 4 and took no wickets.
"Gregory" is the third episode of the first season of the period drama television series The Americans. It originally aired on FX in the United States on February 13, 2013.
In the opening scene, Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys) and Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich) play a game of racquetball. Stan explains that the game is about making your opponent move too fast in order to make a mistake. Stan is paged by Nina (Annet Mahendru) and meets up with her. She informs him about Rob (Chase Coleman), the agent who worked with Philip and Elizabeth (Keri Russell) in their kidnapping of Timoshev, and who was killed. The FBI send a picture of Rob to DMVs across the country and discover he has a wife and a newborn son living in Philadelphia.
Philip and Elizabeth receive a hidden message in the classifieds section of a newspaper about Rob arranging a meet in Philadelphia. Philip suggests that Gregory Thomas (Derek Luke), a former black militant whom Elizabeth recruited, to go to the meet. Elizabeth meets Gregory in his apartment, where he makes a pass at her, but she rejects him, telling him that she is committed to Philip. Gregory agrees to go to the meet and confesses his love for Elizabeth.
Gregory is a lunar crater on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the southeast of the crater Ibn Firnas, and north-northeast of Bečvář. About one crater diameter to the north is the smaller Morozov.
This is a worn and eroded crater formation. The northern rim is degraded due to impacts. Attached to the exterior of the southwest is Gregory Q, a satellite crater about the same size as Gregory. Within the interior is the remains of a small crater rim along the northwestern inner wall.
To the east of Gregory and leading away to the southeast is a crater chain designated Catena Gregory.
By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater midpoint that is closest to Gregory.
Gregory is a masculine first name. It is derived from the Latin name "Gregorius," which was from the late Greek name "Γρηγόριος" (Grēgorios) meaning "watchful, alert" (derived from Greek "γρηγoρεῖν" "grēgorein" meaning "to watch").
Through folk etymology, the name also became associated with Latin grex (stem greg–) meaning 'flock' or 'herd'. This association with a shepherd who diligently guides his flock contributed to the name's popularity among monks and popes.
There have been 16 popes with the name, starting with Pope Gregory I (Gregory the Great). It is the second-most popular name for pope, after John. Because of this background, it is also a very common name for saints. Although the name was uncommon in the early 20th century, after the popularity of the actor Gregory Peck it became one of the ten most common male names in the 1950s and has remained popular since.
The Roman Catholic Church traditionally held the feast of Saint Gregory (the Great) on March 12, but changed it to September 3 in 1969. March 12 remains the name day for Gregory in most countries.
