"The Enemy" is the seventh episode of the third season of the syndicated American science fiction television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, the 55th episode overall, first broadcast on November 6, 1989.
Set in the 24th century, the series follows the adventures of the crew of the Federation starship Enterprise. In this episode, Lt. Cdr. Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton) is trapped on an inhospitable planet hazardous to human life with a Romulan. The two adversaries must work together if they wish to survive. Aboard the Enterprise, Lt. Worf (Michael Dorn) is faced with a conflict between his duty as a Starfleet officer and his Klingon prejudice against Romulans, and Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) must contend with a Romulan warbird intent on recovering their own personnel.
The Enterprise responds to a Romulan distress signal to the planet of Galordon Core near the Neutral Zone, and discover wreckage of a Romulan craft on the hostile planet's surface. Riker, Worf, and La Forge transport down, and find the planet's environment interferes with their equipment. They succeed in finding the craft and a Romulan survivor near death. Riker and Worf transport the Romulan back to the ship while La Forge continues to search the wreckage, but ends up falling into a shallow hole. By the time he has climbed out, the weather on the planet has made it impossible to communicate with the Enterprise.
The Enemy (The Enemy UK in the United States) are an English indie rock band formed in Coventry in 2006. The band's debut album We'll Live and Die in These Towns (2007) went straight to Number 1 in the UK Albums chart on release. Their second album Music for the People (2008) went to Number 2 on the UK Albums chart. Streets in the Sky, their third studio album, was released on 21 May 2012 and was also their third UK top 10 album. Their fourth studio album, It's Automatic, was released on 9 October 2015.
Drummer Liam Watts and bass player Andy Hopkins originate from Coventry, while frontman and multi-instrumentalist Tom Clarke is originally from Birmingham, later moving to Coventry. Clarke attended Finham Park Secondary School in the city during his teenage years, with Hopkins attending Heart of England School in nearby Balsall Common, while Watts studied at the city's Cardinal Newman secondary school.
The Enemy met their original manager, John Dawkins, because Watts' aunt worked with one of Dawkins' family members. Dawkins asked producer Matt Terry to do him a favour and give the band cheap studio time. Terry then produced their first set of three songs: 'Heart Attack', 'Had Enough' and '40 Days and 40 Nights'. Dawkins then forwarded the demos to David Bianchi at A&R Warner.
Sleeping with the Enemy is a 1991 psychological thriller film directed by Joseph Ruben and starring Julia Roberts and Patrick Bergin. The film is based on Nancy Price's 1987 novel of the same name. The novel Sleeping with the Enemy published in 1987 had the same story line as that of 1980 Malayalam movie Manjil Virinja Pookkal. Roberts plays a woman who escapes from her abusive husband who is obsessed with organizing his cupboards and hand towels, from Cape Cod to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where she captures the attention of a kindly college drama teacher.
Laura Burney (Julia Roberts) lives in a beautiful home by the beach on Cape Cod with her husband, Martin Burney (Patrick Bergin), a charming, handsome and wealthy investment counselor who is also possessive, abusive, and controlling. It becomes apparent that he has obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD). Laura tries to abide his rules, but suffers under the strain of doing so. One day, Martin believes Laura has been flirting with an attractive neighbor, and he physically assaults her in a jealous rage. The abuse has been ongoing, and started immediately after their wedding. In an effort to escape Martin, Laura plans and fakes her own death at sea in a storm while the couple are boating. Because Laura had deliberately led Martin to believe that she could not swim, he believed she had died once she was lost overboard. However, Laura was able to swim safely to shore, because she had recently taken swimming lessons at the YWCA. Laura secretly returns home, retrieves some clothing and cash she had hidden away in preparation, disguises herself, and leaves home after flushing her wedding ring down the toilet.
Sleeping With the Enemy is the second album of U.S. militant political rapper Paris. Released in 1992, it stimulated much controversy with the songs "Bush Killa" (a revenge fantasy about the assassination of then-president George H. W. Bush) and "Coffee, Donuts & Death," (a cop-killing tirade). It also featured a young DJ Shadow on production.
Originally scheduled for a pre-presidential election release in 1992, the album was eventually released on Paris’ own Scarface Records after Time Warner shareholders and media pressure prevented then-Warner Bros. Records subsidiary Tommy Boy Records from releasing the project.
It was re-released in a limited release subtitled The Deluxe Edition; it was digitally enhanced, reworked, and contains alternate versions. The album sold over 480,000
"Sleeping With the Enemy" is the third episode from the sixteenth season of The Simpsons. This proves to be Jon Vitti's last episode to write and Lauren MacMullan's last episode for directing.
Lisa has a big butt and her friends at school tease her about it (for seemingly no reason other than to embarrass Lisa), causing her to become self-conscious about her weight. Homer only makes matters worse when he tells her about the "Simpson butt", something that all Simpsons have. He goes on to draw himself the way an animator would, starting with circles, then filling in the rest of the details. Bart brings home a geography test with a grade of 100, eagerly expecting a party that was promised to him if he ever got a 100. However, Homer thinks Bart either forged the test or cheated, but discovers that the watermark of the test is real and that all the answers are correct. But he is not easily willing to give up, so Homer and Marge speak to Bart's teacher Mrs. Krabappel, who confesses that she forgot to fold up the map during the test, so therefore, everyone in the class (including Bart) received a 100. Bart gets his "party", which is attended by Aunts Patty and Selma, Grampa (sleeping in an armchair), Grandma Bouvier, Ralph, and Martin. Milhouse can only attend via speakerphone because he has the measles. Bart does not enjoy the party and to make matters worse, Lisa runs up to her room crying when Marge offers her a big slice of cake.
You?ll never take me
You?ll never break me
You?ll never take me, take me
No friendship left to tie or bind
The black clouds over summer skies
How can you fucking live with yourself
Overdose in lies will be your end
I don?t care what you say
You mean nothing to me
Please God will you save me
From this hate inside?
I feel it start to change me
I don?t feel alive
Hurt you close, you realize
I?m the window in your suicide
How can you breath or live with yourself
Overdose in lies will be your end
I don?t care what you say
You mean nothing to me
Please God will you save me
From this hate inside?
I feel it start to change me
I don?t feel alive
I don?t feel alive
There?s nothing left inside
Please God will you save me
I don?t feel alive
I see right through you
I see right through you
I see right through you
I see right through you
Please God will you save me
From this hate inside?
I feel it start to change me
I don?t feel alive
I don?t feel alive
There?s nothing left inside
Please God will you save me
I don?t feel alive
