As someone who has spent my entire life here, I am upset, frustrated, and annoyed at the corruption, racism, and discrimination that has run rampant on Long Island, and have to speak out. We've seen the middle class disappear, replaced by either richer, white collar professionals who work in finance and management, or illegal immigrants that are dumped in a handful of communities. And more and more, the promise of a safe, good quality of life is only attainable for those earning alot of money, and out of reach for anyone else, including many Non-Whites. Illegal immigration has hurt these communities the most, towns that already struggle with poverty, struggling schools, and crime, are asked to shoulder the burden of illegals the most. There's getting to be very few, true middle class communities left, as illegals are steered into certain communities, while the safer towns with opportunity, get snatched up by Wall Street & the like who choose them as bedroom communities while they commute via LIRR to the city. The housing crisis doesn't even care about our Veterans, many of their housing is built in depressed, higher crime areas, not even those who risked their lives for our Country, are allowed to live in the nicer towns. The Real Estate industry and Wall Street have the politicians in their pocket, they want to make life miserable on LI for any US citizen who is not rich. They want to destroy our communities so we leave. And can be replaced by either rich and the illegals they employ. So in this video I will go over maps, street views, videos, and charts, to show you the dichotomy that takes place on this island of ours. You will see how the wealthier folks get to live in safe, clean towns with opportunity, while poorer folks, and especially non-whites, have to deal with blight, crime, gangs, and depressed towns, many of which even lack supermarkets. Its these places, like Hempstead, Freeport, Roosevelt, and parts of Westbury, that have to deal with the thousands of illegals arriving into their towns every year. They have to deal with the problems they bring, and the debt. Its as if the elected officials want to make the poor citizens so miserable, they will leave Long Island, and they can cram more illegals in, to work for the rich. On the other hand, many blue collar towns, particularly on the south shore, have now become full of rich people, who have driven up home prices and have influenced real estate brokers to only now allow their own kind in. We must get rid of the illegals, first and foremost. While local governments cannot do the job of Federal Immigration, they can enforce housing codes, shut down bodegas that cause problems, and arrest those who cause trouble on the streets. But we must also have enforcement of Federal immigration law, and start prosecuting those who hire illegals. Once illegals cannot suck our blood anymore, many will leave, and the rest will be deported. Donald Trump is right! It is not racist to want the law enforced, and what's going on right now IS RACIST because it is Non-White communities that are being targetted with illegals! It is in fact LEGAL immigrants that have to deal with the problems of illegals causing trouble in their towns! Imagine coming here legally, waiting, going through the process, only to see people who snuck in just hanging around the streets of your town? That's an angle the mainstream media will never cover. What's also racist is blockbusting, proper enforcement and agressive prosecution of discrimination cases will put a stop to the steering & blockbusting going on. We must also get the cost of housing down on Long Island. And no community should have the right or power to deny Section 8, Veterans Housing, Habitat Housing, or Disabled housing. Ghettos are created by the Real Estate industry steering the poor into the same area, instead of scattering them in towns where they actually may have a chance to turn their lives around. By properly integrating different groups of people within the same town we can add to the diversity of Long Island. With increased opportunity for everyone, and the removal of criminals from our society, all of Long Island's towns will improve and the middle class & our young people will stop moving away. I do not harbor ill will toward anyone, certainly rich people have a right to do well for themselves and invest in high end merchandise, but money does not give them the right to deny others access. That is what annoys me about these people! We need to learn to live TOGETHER. Lets make Long Island great again!
