Overall, North American electrical engineers are doing better salary-wise than their international peers, 91% are very satisfied or satisfied with their career choice, and are optimistic about the future. The U.S. Labor Department Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that electrical and electronics engineers will have around 318,700 jobs in 2022—almost 50,000 more than in 2014.
