Blue is the colour between violet and green on the optical spectrum of visible light. Human eyes perceive blue when observing light with a wavelength between 450 and 495 nanometres. Blues with a higher frequency and thus a shorter wavelength gradually look more violet, while those with a lower frequency and a longer wavelength gradually appear more green. Pure blue, in the middle, has a wavelength of 470 nanometres. In painting and traditional colour theory, blue is one of the three primary colours of pigments, along with red and yellow, which can be mixed to form a wide gamut of colours. Red and blue mixed together form violet, blue and yellow together form green. Blue is also a primary colour in the RGB colour model, used to create all the colours on the screen of a television or computer monitor.
The modern English word blue comes from Middle English bleu or blewe, from the Old French bleu, a word of Germanic origin, related to the Old High German word blao. The clear sky and the deep sea appear blue because of an optical effect known as Rayleigh scattering. When sunlight passes through the atmosphere, the blue wavelengths are scattered more widely by the oxygen and nitrogen molecules, and more blue comes to our eyes. Rayleigh scattering also explains blue eyes; there is no blue pigment in blue eyes. Distant objects appear more blue because of another optical effect called atmospheric perspective.
A noun (from Latin nōmen, literally meaning "name") is a word that functions as the name of some specific thing or set of things, such as living creatures, objects, places, actions, qualities, states of existence, or ideas.Linguistically, a noun is a member of a large, open part of speech whose members can occur as the main word in the subject of a clause, the object of a verb, or the object of a preposition.
Lexical categories (parts of speech) are defined in terms of the ways in which their members combine with other kinds of expressions. The syntactic rules for nouns differ from language to language. In English, nouns are those words which can occur with articles and attributive adjectives and can function as the head of a noun phrase.
Word classes (parts of speech) were described by Sanskrit grammarians from at least the 5th century BC. In Yāska's Nirukta, the noun (nāma) is one of the four main categories of words defined.
The Ancient Greek equivalent was ónoma (ὄνομα), referred to by Plato in the Cratylus dialog, and later listed as one of the eight parts of speech in The Art of Grammar, attributed to Dionysius Thrax (2nd century BC). The term used in Latin grammar was nōmen. All of these terms for "noun" were also words meaning "name". The English word noun is derived from the Latin term, through the Anglo-Norman noun.
BYU Vocal Point is a nine-member, male a cappella group at Brigham Young University. Founded by students in 1991, Vocal Point operates under the auspice of BYU Performing Arts Management.
The group has won three Pearl Awards and it was the winner of the 2006 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA). It also placed fifth on NBC's third season of The Sing Off.
BYU Vocal Point was founded by two students at Brigham Young University. Dave Boyce and Bob Ahlander first heard the contemporary a cappella sound during a visit to the eastern U.S., where it had already grown to considerable popularity at colleges throughout the east. Seeking to bring that sound westward, Dave and Bob recruited Jill Petersen-Lex to serve as the group's first Artistic Director. The three held auditions in fall 1991. After the members were selected and began singing, the nine-man group became an instant hit on campus, selling out its first concert. The group made its first recording ("If Rocks Could Sing") and went on its first tour that same school year.
The choirs at Brigham Young University (BYU) consist of four auditioned choirs: the BYU Singers, the Concert Choir, the Men's Chorus, and the Women's Chorus. Each choir is highly accomplished and performs from an extensive repertoire. Together, the choirs have recorded and released a total of 23 albums. The choirs perform throughout the academic year. Admission into each choir is by audition, carried out in the weeks leading up to the fall semester. Each ensemble requires a two-semester commitment.
BYU Singers is a small, flexible group of approximately 40 musicians. Founded in 1984 by Ronald Staheli, the choir's repertoire encompasses a range of musical eras and styles, including Renaissance through contemporary choral music; also Broadway, the American songbook, spirituals, folk songs, and hymns. They have performed in Western and Eastern Europe, including the former Soviet Union, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Ghana, Benin, Togo and South Africa. The group also performs regularly in concerts throughout the United States and has appeared on national television in four programs created for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He was born in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and raised in Framlingham, Suffolk. After dropping out of school at 16, he moved to London the following year, in 2008, to pursue a career in music. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which caught the attention of Elton John and Jamie Foxx. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (read as "plus"), was released on 9 September 2011 and has since been certified six-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
Sheeran's popularity abroad began in 2012. In the US, he made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. He spent much of 2013 opening for Swift's The Red Tour in North America dates. In late 2013, he performed three sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden as a headline act. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Guilty Crown Sountrack - Krone on piano! This is actually my re-arrangement of Krone, small bits are improvised and some taken from pF-Adlib II (Hare's music... ;__; ) I'm doing more emotional soundtracks because of a couple of reasons: 1. I really like playing them and it actually helps vent my own emotions out and 2. You guys really like it as well based on my Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso upload last week. Guilty Crown... well it wasn't a perfect anime, far from it. But I'm a softie for emotional songs and jeez... Hare's scene and music still hits me to this day. She got the red flag early on, and it's really frustrating. It's undeserving and full of injustice. /rant Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one - and if it does well again, you bet I'll keep on uploading emotional soundtrack songs ...

Tokyo Ghoul OST - Glassy Sky sung by Donna Burke 東京喰種-トーキョーグール- OST - Glassy Sky - - - "How ugly we are..." Tokyo Ghoul OST - Glassy Sky is finally arranged! It took me two weeks to arrange this, particularly because it's not your usual anime song structure. It's much more flowing, much more improv-like. I'm actually a massive fan of Donna Burke, the singer of this song due to her works in Metal Gear games. Her Heaven's Divide song is probably one of my favorites. And Glassy Sky is of course is damn good as well. Subtitles for the song lyrics will be added later, I only have a short time to record/edit the video today because it's my sister's graduation banquet tonight, so I rushed the upload. Hopefully there are no errors in the editing or syncing. Hope you guys enjoy this one. -...

I like to think of colors sometimes when I think of music. I see this one as light blue and white. It's not sad, but it's got emotion. Each note, rhythm, and accent has been carefully written in by ear from the original song. ____________________________________ Sheet Music Download: http://www.mediafire.com/view/wz025z93x4n8999/Shurelya.pdf

Title track from the 2013 Grisly Fiction CD "My Emotional Geometry Is Like Spider Webs" Starting on January 1, 2008 I began to photograph myself daily. Most photos were taken in front of a blue sheet I set up to create a static and consistent background. The plan was to do this for the entire year but I eventually continued until I finally missed a day in February 2009. While doing this project I also photographed myself with some long exposure shots in front of the same background. These photos make up the content of this video. The self portrait shots are in roughly sequential order.

In the days after Haiti's earthquake, if you happened to be walking the first hole at the Petionville Golf Course, there on the side of the hill in a sagging shelter—a wedge shot away from where the green used to be—a voice could be heard rising out of a shelter. The notes were soulful and shot through with emotion. If you followed the voice to the tent and pulled back the rosebud bed sheet, in the hazy blue light, you'd see a 23 year-old woman holding a 3 month-old baby girl, singing her to sleep. The voice belonged to Exeline; the toddler, her daughter Christline. Exeline spent most of her time keeping her vocal chords in shape, because, she said, she planned on becoming a professional singer. It was an admirable goal in a desperate city turned upside down. Hundreds of thousands...
