Cobb (film)
Cobb is a 1994 biopic starring Tommy Lee Jones as the famed baseball player Ty Cobb. It was written and directed by Ron Shelton and was based on a book by Al Stump. The original music score was composed by Elliot Goldenthal.
Plot
Sportswriter Al Stump is hired in 1960 as ghostwriter of an authorized autobiography of baseball player Tyrus Raymond "Ty" Cobb. Now 73 and in failing health, Cobb wants an official biography to "set the record straight" before he dies.
Stump arrives at Cobb's Lake Tahoe estate to write the official life story of the first baseball player inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. He finds a continually-drunken, misanthropic, bitter racist who abuses his biographer as well as everyone else he comes in contact with. Although Cobb's home is luxurious, it is without heat, power and running water due to long-running violent disputes between Cobb and utility companies. Cobb also rapidly runs through domestic workers, hiring and firing them in quick succession.

Sea Use V 1972 Cobb Seamount Submarine Survey
This is the historical 16 mm documentary that I made of Cobb Seamount in 1972. This film is about using the Submarine Sea Otter, The pilot and a marine Scientist to visit the lower environs down to below 700 ft, of the underwater volcano Cobb Seamount. This work was done under the auspices of Project Sea Use which continued until 1975 but without being documented using video. I hope you find it interesting. This was a contributed effort by all of us involved. Diving in the open ocean is unique and very dangerous. but the entire Sea Use program was successful. My thanks to Spence Campbell and Cmdr Boyce of the UsCG without who's contribution none of this would have been possible. Bob Bradly the Submarine pilot has since passed on. Everyone is kept happy with a legal drug, soma. People are hatched and cloned on conveyor belts to meet the requirements of five different social classes, from ruling Alphas to robot-like Epsilons. Bernard Marx is a different Alpha male with an inclination to thinking. He and a girl called Lenina Disney go visit a reservation of 'savages' where they meet a handsome young man John and bring him back to 'civilization'. John turns out to be the son of the director of the cloning authority, which causes a scandal and makes John a celebrity freak. John falls in love with Lenina but his desire is ruined by his antiquated sexual morale derived from reading Shakespeare.

This is the historical 16 mm documentary that I made of Cobb Seamount in 1972. This film is about using the Submarine Sea Otter, The pilot and a marine Scientist to visit the lower environs down to below 700 ft, of the underwater volcano Cobb Seamount. This work was done under the auspices of Project Sea Use which continued until 1975 but without being documented using video. I hope you find it interesting. This was a contributed effort by all of us involved. Diving in the open ocean is unique and very dangerous. but the entire Sea Use program was successful. My thanks to Spence Campbell and Cmdr Boyce of the UsCG without who's contribution none of this would have been possible. Bob Bradly the Submarine pilot has since passed on. Roland White did most of the photography for this video. both topside and underwater. Only a few copies of this film exist.

Finalement, Roger se voit contraint de pénétrer dans l'au-delà lui-même, afin d'y affronter les spectres de son passé (notamment celui de son ancien compagnon d'armes, Big Ben, capturé et torturé à mort par les Việt Cộng), parce qu'il n'avait pas pu le protéger et espérer sauver son fils.
