X-Men Apocalypse Final Trailer Spill Major Secrets Subscribe Now! ► http://bit.ly/SubClevverMovies The final X-Men: Apocalypse trailer has arrived and with it plenty of spoilers! One of the biggest question marks about this summer’s X-Men: Apocalypse has finally been revealed. If you’re hoping to avoid spoilers for the next X-Men movie, then this story is definitely not for you, but for everyone else the latest X-Men: Apocalypse trailer has revealed some of the film’s biggest secrets. The action packed trailer starts off giving us more info about the film’s title villain, “Apocalypse”. Played by Oscar Isaac, Apocalypse is one of the oldest known mutants who has been amassing mutants for thousands of years in order to take their powers. He, along with his Four Horsemen; Magneto, Storm, Psylocke and Angel, set out to cleanse the world and destroy everything humanity has built in order to build a better one. In order to accomplish this, it appears he will need Professor Xavier’s powers as well. Xavier begs his longtime friend and sometimes foe Magneto not to join them, but Magneto tells him that whatever he saw in him he buried with his family. We get a quick shot of Magneto crying over what looks like his wife and child, which we now know becomes the catalyst for him joining Apocalypse. With Xavier away, Jennifer Lawrence’s “Raven” aka “Mystique” begins the new leader of the X-Men and sets out to recruit and train the young mutants in order to fight Apocalypse. One of those mutants is Kodi Smit-McPhee’s “Nightcrawler” who she helps escape from an underground mutant fighting ring where he is seen battling Angel. Nightcrawler manages to teleport them out where he says to Mystique, “You’re her.” Earlier in the trailer Xavier says the young mutants look up to her, likely for what she did a decade before at the end of Days of Future Past, but this meeting is even more significant to comic book fans. In the comics, Mystique is Nightcrawler’s mother and while this relationship may likely not be explored in the movie universe, their interaction here is no less significant. Another relationship that comic book fans have known about for a long time, but has been confirmed for the movie is Magneto being Quicksilver’s father. It was teased in Days of Future Past, but the final trailer shows Quicksilver directly informing Mystique that Magneto is his father and he also gives a quick and humorous lesson on how it’s physically possible. With Magneto having lost his family, the realization that he has a son will likely play out heavily in the film’s plot. The trailer goes on to showcase some of the action we can look forward to in the film including a battle between Beast and Psylocke and Cyclops taking on Storm. We also see the return of Josh Helman as a young “Stryker”, but the biggest reveal of the trailer is saved for the end. We see the bodies of several heavily armed soldiers lying in some kind of bunker. When “Mystique” enters and sees the bodies she tells Cyclops and Jean Grey that they’ve been busy to which he replies they had a little help. And who is it that lent them a hand or should we say claw? Yes, that’s right, none other than Wolverine! While we don’t actually see his face, we do get a look at his signature claws and yes they are adamantium. You may recall when we last saw 1970s Wolverine, Mystique had saved him from Stryker and seemingly the Weapons X program. We’re guessing he was only saved for so long though as it appears Stryker somehow managed to get his hands on Wolverine and gave him his adamantium skeleton. So, who out there is excited for Wolverine to appear in ¬X-Men: Apocalypse and are you glad they teased it in the trailer or do you wish they would have kept it a surprise?
