Werner Herzog Stipetić (German: [ˈvɛɐ̯nɐ ˈhɛɐ̯tsoːk ˈstɪpɛtɪt͡ʃ]; born 5 September 1942), known as Werner Herzog, is a German film director, producer, screenwriter, author, actor and opera director.
Herzog is considered one of the greatest figures of the New German Cinema, along with Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Margarethe von Trotta, Volker Schlöndorff, Werner Schröter, and Wim Wenders. Herzog's films often feature heroes with impossible dreams, people with unique talents in obscure fields, or individuals who are in conflict with nature. French filmmaker François Truffaut once called Herzog "the most important film director alive." American film critic Roger Ebert said that Herzog "has never created a single film that is compromised, shameful, made for pragmatic reasons or uninteresting. Even his failures are spectacular." He was named one of the 100 most influential people on the planet by Time magazine in 2009.
Herzog was born Werner Stipetić in Munich, to Elizabeth Stipetić, an Austrian of Croatian descent, and Dietrich Herzog, who was German. When Werner was two weeks old, his mother took refuge in the remote Bavarian village of Sachrang (in the Chiemgau Alps), after the house next to theirs was destroyed during a bombing raid at the close of World War II. In Sachrang, Herzog grew up without running water, a flush toilet, or a telephone. He never saw films, and did not even know of the existence of cinema until a traveling projectionist came by the one-room schoolhouse in Sachrang. When Herzog was 12, he and his family moved back to Munich. His father had abandoned the family early in his youth. Werner later adopted his father's surname Herzog (German for "duke"), which he thought sounded more impressive for a filmmaker.
Lo may refer to:
Lo can be used as a shortened form of a number of names, such as Laura, Lauren, Dolores, Olivia, Lucia, Lois, Lola, Loretta, Lorena or Loleriana:
Herzog is a German hereditary title held by one who rules a territorial duchy, exercises feudal authority over an estate called a duchy, or possesses a right by law or tradition, to be referred to by the ducal title. The word is usually translated by the English duke and the Latin Dux. Generally, a duke ranks below a king and above a count. Whether the title is deemed higher or lower than titles translated into English as "prince" (Fürst) has depended upon the language, country and era in which the titles co-existed.
Herzog is not related to Herz ('heart'), but is derived from German(ic) He(e)r (English: 'army') and zog (ziehen) (English: 'to move', also: in die Schlacht ziehen – "to go into battle"), a military leader. It may have originated from the Proto-Germanic title of Harjanaz, who were elected by their tribes to lead them into battle. Thus Herzog was a title borne by Germanic warriors who exercised military authority over a tribe by general acclaim among its members or warriors, especially in the stem duchies. During the medieval era, some of the most powerful vassals whose territories lay within the boundaries of the Holy Roman Empire took or were granted the title of Herzog by the Emperor. Several dynasties, such as the Habsburgs of Austria, Hohenzollerns of Prussia, Welfs of Hanover, Wettins of Saxony, Wittelsbachs of Bavaria and the House of Württemberg, held the Herzogswürde (dukedom) before becoming kings.
Behold is a brand of furniture polish produced by Nakoma Products, LLC. Behold furniture polish and Endust dusting aid were previously produced by Sara Lee. When Drackett was sold to S. C. Johnson & Son in 1992, these two products, Endust and Behold, were sold to Sara Lee. In 2010 the product lines Endust and Behold were sold to Nakoma Products LLC. Located in Coal City, Illinois. The company introduced a new glass cleaner and oven/grill cleaner under the Behold brand name in 2012. S. C. Johnson produces Pledge, a similar product to Behold.
William R. Johnson, now president of H.J. Heinz, was assistant brand manager for Behold at Drackett, 1974-1977.
The National Institutes of Health household products database lists Behold as containing propane and butane and naphtha. Propane and isobutane blends are used as propellants for household cleaners.
Aerosol furniture polishes apply a thin layer of silicone oils, rather than the thicker, more durable layer of solid waxes. Fine furniture craftsmen warn that the silicone oils can penetrate through tiny cracks in the finish and make eventual refinishing very difficult.

Simon, he was a man
Held his heart out in his hand
A hollow land of autumn breeze
Evenings in the brittle rain
Leaves that fill the barren plain
With simple pain, embroideries
In the temple yesterday
Was a man, who came to pray
Who couldn't stay and couldn't leave
So, he fell down on his knees
Sued for grace and sued for peace
A little ease and not to grieve
Marion, she met a man
Took her to Jerusalem
To take a stand, escape a scene
To wander in the honey sea
Drink the milk of memory
And never be herself again
In the temple yesterday
Was a woman came to pray
Who couldn't say and couldn't see
So, she fell down on her knees
Sued for grace and sued for peace
Sued the priest to set her free
Lo, lo and behold
Lo, lo and behold
Lo, lo and behold
