Lage Manufactueing MAX-41A
A combination submachinegun in 9mm and short barreled 12 gauge shotgun designed to resemble the M-41A Pulse Rifle from the movie Aliens.
Submachinegun component is a NFA registered SWD M-11/9 with an Anthony Smith style Suomi upper receiver. Magazine used is a Suomi "Coffin" magazine that holds 50 rounds of 9mm.
No modifications or alteration of the M-11/9 lower receiver is required.
Shotgun component is a NFA registered Remington 870 short barreled shotgun.
BATFE letter was obtained confirming this is a legal configuration, prior to manufacturing.

Shots with the Snow Wolf M41A1 "Pulse Rifle", the famous rifle used by Marines in the movie Aliens by James Cameron.
(From imfdb) "The "M41A Pulse Rifle" is a fictional firearm invented for the world of Aliens. It uses a 100 round magazine loaded with 10x24mm, explosive tip, caseless, light armor-piercing rounds, although supposedly downloaded to 99 to prevent stoppages. It is fitted with an underslung pump-action 4 shot 30mm grenade launcher. The prop was composed of an aluminium shroud, and M1A1 Thompson for the main gun, a Remington 870 as the grenade launcher, and uses a Franchi SPAS-12 cut down forend and heatshield over the 870."
This gun is mostly based on the G&P; kit which was made to be used with the Marui M1A1. The gun comes already mounted, which is good compared to the G&P; kit. It's also less expensive, even if that's still high compared to the quality, at least for my taste.
The body is mostly made of plastic and doesn't feel very sturdy.
The performances are really not great. But at least it shots... Note there is no sights. The underbarrel shotgun is dummy (this is where you put the battery).
So let's put it this way : if you really like Aliens and you want a nice item to put on your wall, then go for it. If you want to buy a gun for airsoft games... Well, maybe you should go for something else.

It is the newest video showing how this awesome gun is loaded, how it has a round counter, and how it has optional rates of fire.
I wish it showed the Dot Sight, but it don't. It activates when the magazine is inserted.
***UPDATE*** This is a one-off, no more will be manufactured!
This is me shooting a modern production M41-A ARMAT assault rifle made by a local company. On the movie ALIENS it was used by the USCM "United States Colonial Marines". The specs are that is was a 10mm caseless machinegun with a 30mm grenade launcher on the bottom. This is a one off copy of the movie gun, made so it is an actual firearm and not a prop.
The M41-A was also the weapon Ripley "Sigourney Weaver" lit up the Aliens and facegrabbers on the movie it has a real working model 870 short barreled shotgun and used a Thompson smg for the automatic fire.The Thompson used the smaller 20 and 30 round mags.
The manufacturer of this cool as heck set-up is Lage Manufacturing. I do realize a lot of you already knew this.
Please do not swamp Lage Manufacturing with e-mails. He has his MAX-10/9, MAX-10/45, and MAX/22 systems already taking a lot of his time. More e-mails will just slow things down. If you guys post questions, I will answer them. If I don't know the answers, I will compile just one larger e-mail to send or just talk to the manufacturer at the range the next time I see him.
For this set-up, it is utilizing an M-11/9 SWD smg, and an 870 AOW/ SBR.
With this particular firearm, it is a 9mm design, and it utilizes the Suomi coffin magazines that have a capacity of 50 rounds.
Yes, the round counter does work!
The recoil and climb is non-existent, and the set-up is a real pleasure to shoot. The optics and round counter turn on with the insertion of the magazine! It has a red dot sight and it is dialed in perfectly. The manufacturer is testing the design to see if he will offer it to the public. All NFA rules apply, and it is not inexpensive I will tell you that now. The gun is real, not a toy.
It is made to take the constant pounding of machinegun and shotgun fire unlike the prop which was designed just to hold up to blank fire.

Pulse
In medicine, a pulse represents the tactile arterial palpation of the heartbeat by trained fingertips. The pulse may be palpated in any place that allows an artery to be compressed against a bone, such as at the neck (carotid artery), on the inside of the elbow (brachial artery), at the wrist (radial artery), at the groin (femoral artery), behind the knee (popliteal artery), near the ankle joint (posterior tibial artery), and on foot (dorsalis pedis artery). Pulse (or the count of arterial pulse per minute) is equivalent to measuring the heart rate. This is me shooting a modern production M41-A ARMAT assault rifle made by a local company. On the movie ALIENS it was used by the USCM "United States Colonial Marines". The body is mostly made of plastic and doesn't feel very sturdy.
The performances are really not great. But at least it shots... Note there is no sights. The underbarrel shotgun is dummy (this is where you put the battery).
So let's put it this way : if you really like Aliens and you want a nice item to put on your wall, then go for it. If you want to buy a gun for airsoft games... Well, maybe you should go for something else.

This is me shooting a modern production M41-A ARMAT assault rifle made by a local company. On the movie ALIENS it was used by the USCM "United States Colonial Marines". The specs are that is was a 10mm caseless machinegun with a 30mm grenade launcher on the bottom. This is a one off copy of the movie gun, made so it is an actual firearm and not a prop.
The M41-A was also the weapon Ripley "Sigourney Weaver" lit up the Aliens and facegrabbers on the movie it has a real working model 870 short barreled shotgun and used a Thompson smg for the automatic fire.The Thompson used the smaller 20 and 30 round mags.
The manufacturer of this cool as heck set-up is Lage Manufacturing. I do realize a lot of you already knew this.
Please do not swamp Lage Manufacturing with e-mails. He has his MAX-10/9, MAX-10/45, and MAX/22 systems already taking a lot of his time. More e-mails will just slow things down. If you guys post questions, I will answer them. If I don't know the answers, I will compile just one larger e-mail to send or just talk to the manufacturer at the range the next time I see him.
For this set-up, it is utilizing an M-11/9 SWD smg, and an 870 AOW/ SBR.
With this particular firearm, it is a 9mm design, and it utilizes the Suomi coffin magazines that have a capacity of 50 rounds.
Yes, the round counter does work!
The recoil and climb is non-existent, and the set-up is a real pleasure to shoot. The optics and round counter turn on with the insertion of the magazine! It has a red dot sight and it is dialed in perfectly. The manufacturer is testing the design to see if he will offer it to the public. All NFA rules apply, and it is not inexpensive I will tell you that now. The gun is real, not a toy.
It is made to take the constant pounding of machinegun and shotgun fire unlike the prop which was designed just to hold up to blank fire.

Comey have sided with the CIA assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to assist Donald Trump winning the presidency, according to The Washington Post. Comey's support for the CIA's conclusion indicates that the leaders of the three agencies are in agreement versus some lawmakers arguments that indicated Comey or the FBI disagreed with the CIA....
