Yeshua and all the apostles were Torah observant, and because Yeshua was

• He was "mikvahed". (baptized) Mt. 3:13-17
• He kept Sabbath. Lk.4:14-21
• He went to the Temple. Lk. 19:47
• He went to the Synagogue. Lk. 4:16,44
• He read and taught a portion of the annual Torah and prophetic reading cycle.

• He most likely prayed the ancient set of Jewish prayers, prayed 3x's a day,

Matthew 5:17-20 paints the TRUE picture of the Messiah, that non-believing Jews
NEED and MUST see! Are you "Taking YHWH's Name in vain" by living like the
Catholic and Christian "Jesus", contrary to His Word, Thus Soiling His Name ?
Or are you living like Yeshua, the Jewish, Torah observant Messiah? Will you,
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may SEE YOUR good WORKS, and

Acts 5:1-11 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Our Torah and Haftarah Portion both deal with what many of us see as harsh punishments. No different with our Brit Chadashah Portion. But how can we finite creations fully comprehend what we call justice and fairness, how can we fully understand the ways and decisions of an Infinite Creator?
We can say that we can see these 3 examples and learn from anothers mistake, in not to:
1. Let our temper get the best of us and do exactly as we are command no more no less.
2. To be careful what we promise.
3. Not to lie by commission or omission about our pledges.
In other words all that we do reflect back on G-d and we need to be conscious of the severity of all our decisions and that which comes out of our mouth.

James 2:14-26 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
What did we say that the point of Torah was in our Parashot this week? To Fear, Do and Live.
Yeshua the Messiah, the Living Torah, His brother Ya'akov (James) here in the book that bears his name, sums up quite well the grand importance of Torah. That is to Do it, so we can show ourselves Faithful.
The Torah isn't a giant condemning finger to shake at people and say, "Tisk, Tisk, shame on you, you filthy rotten sinner, you are guilty and going to Hell!"
The Torah isn't some scroll to set pretty in a synagogue or in a museum behind bullet proof glass.
The Torah isn't that thing that "Jesus" did away with on the cross.
The Torah is G-d's Divine Will for each and every one of our lives today in the here and now. It is to be done, not to be stared at, or even discussed, but it is to be done. This is the proof that we have Faith and that it is Active, Living and Vibrant! It is the defining mark that we are G-d's, that we are His servants, and that we are His Holy People. Our living out the Torah every day is our fruits to which people can tell to whom we belong and to whom we serve. The Torah is that Proof in the Proverbial Pudding.

Hebrews 3:7-4:11

Here Rav Sha'ul continues the theme of full and complete obedience to G-d's commands. He sites here in our selected passage a portion from Numbers 12, as a proof text, to remind G-d's people the judgment that falls when one rebels or complies with only partial obedience.
Heb 3:7-11 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) (Num. 12:7)
This is the main crux of what is so wrong with partial obedience.
Heb. 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Rom 14:23b For whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb. 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Don't think you are fooling G-d with your partial obedience.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Partial obedience is lack of faith, and lack of faith is disbelief.
If you are fearful and doubtful regarding what G-d has commanded, that's okay, that is only human.
II Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Pray the prayer that the man with the demon possessed son prayed
Mark 9:17-24 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foamingAnd he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
"L-rd, I believe, but help my unbelief."
For after full obedience comes rest.
Heb. 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Rest is so sweet, but no one promised that achieving it would be easy.
James 1:2-3, 22, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 2:17-18 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
It is ironic that you have to first rest in Him prior to taking the Land to be able to achieve the rest afterwards.

Hoy tristemente muchos que estan saliendo de los sistemas religiosos occidentales (catolicismo, evangelicos), buscando sus "raices hebreas de su fe" les ha confundido por ignorancia con el judaismo, el cual niega a Yeshua como Mashiaj y niega al Brit Hadasha, de tal manera que estos en ignorancia empiezan a seguir a lideres humanos, como lo hacian en el cristianismo, solo que ahora le llaman "sabios" y cuando vienen a sentir estan negando a Yeshua (antes le llamaban jesucristo) y negando lo que ellos llamaban el "Nuevo Testamento". Es necesario hablar sobre eso para advertir a aquellos que estan camino del error y destrucción.

Our Torah and Haftarah Portion both deal with what many of us see as harsh punishments. No different with our Brit Chadashah Portion. But how can we finite creations fully comprehend what we call justice and fairness, how can we fully understand the ways and decisions of an Infinite Creator?
We can say that we can see these 3 examples and learn from anothers mistake, in not to:
1. Let our temper get the best of us and do exactly as we are command no more no less.
2. To be careful what we promise.
3. Not to lie by commission or omission about our pledges.
In other words all that we do reflect back on G-d and we need to be conscious of the severity of all our decisions and that which comes out of our mouth.

What did we say that the point of Torah was in our Parashot this week? To Fear, Do and Live.
Yeshua the Messiah, the Living Torah, His brother Ya'akov (James) here in the book that bears his name, sums up quite well the grand importance of Torah. That is to Do it, so we can show ourselves Faithful.
The Torah isn't a giant condemning finger to shake at people and say, "Tisk, Tisk, shame on you, you filthy rotten sinner, you are guilty and going to Hell!"
The Torah isn't some scroll to set pretty in a synagogue or in a museum behind bullet proof glass.
The Torah isn't that thing that "Jesus" did away with on the cross.
The Torah is G-d's Divine Will for each and every one of our lives today in the here and now. It is to be done, not to be stared at, or even discussed, but it is to be done. This is the proof that we have Faith and that it is Active, Living and Vibrant! It is the defining mark that we are G-d's, that we are His servants, and that we are His Holy People. Our living out the Torah every day is our fruits to which people can tell to whom we belong and to whom we serve. The Torah is that Proof in the Proverbial Pudding.

Parashah #44: Devarim "Words"
Hebrews 3:7-4:11

Here Rav Sha'ul continues the theme of full and complete obedience to G-d's commands. He sites here in our selected passage a portion from Numbers 12, as a proof text, to remind G-d's people the judgment that falls when one rebels or complies with only partial obedience.
Heb 3:7-11 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) (Num. 12:7)
This is the main crux of what is so wrong with partial obedience.
Heb. 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Rom 14:23b For whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb. 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
Don't think you are fooling G-d with your partial obedience.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Heb 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Partial obedience is lack of faith, and lack of faith is disbelief.
If you are fearful and doubtful regarding what G-d has commanded, that's okay, that is only human.
II Tim. 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Pray the prayer that the man with the demon possessed son prayed
Mark 9:17-24 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not. He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me. And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foamingAnd he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
"L-rd, I believe, but help my unbelief."
For after full obedience comes rest.
Heb. 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Rest is so sweet, but no one promised that achieving it would be easy.
James 1:2-3, 22, My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience... But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 2:17-18 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
I John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
It is ironic that you have to first rest in Him prior to taking the Land to be able to achieve the rest afterwards.

Hoy tristemente muchos que estan saliendo de los sistemas religiosos occidentales (catolicismo, evangelicos), buscando sus "raices hebreas de su fe" les ha confundido por ignorancia con el judaismo, el cual niega a Yeshua como Mashiaj y niega al Brit Hadasha, de tal manera que estos en ignorancia empiezan a seguir a lideres humanos, como lo hacian en el cristianismo, solo que ahora le llaman "sabios" y cuando vienen a sentir estan negando a Yeshua (antes le llamaban jesucristo) y negando lo que ellos llamaban el "Nuevo Testamento". Es necesario hablar sobre eso para advertir a aquellos que estan camino del error y destrucción.

I say New Testament and not New Covenant because the words in Jeremiah are Hebrew for "New Testament" (as well as New Covenant) - the famous, loved and hated - beloved of Christians and Messianic Jews (they being the same thing really). If you want to talk about the NT in modern Hebrew, these words from Jeremiah are the ones you need to use :- "Brit Chadashah" :) -
