Blinking is the rapid closing and opening of the eyelid. It is an essential function of the eye that helps spread tears across and remove irritants from the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva. Blink speed can be affected by elements such as fatigue, eye injury, medication, and disease. The blinking rate is determined by the "blinking center", but it can also be affected by external stimulus. When an animal (usually human) chooses to blink only one eye as a signal to another in a social setting (a form of body language), it is known as winking. Some animals (for example, tortoises and hamsters) blink their eyes independently of each other.
Blinking provides moisture to the eye by irrigation using tears and a lubricant the eyes secrete. The eyelid provides suction across the eye from the tear duct to the entire eyeball to keep it from drying out.
Blinking also protects the eye from irritants. Eyelashes are hairs attached to the upper and lower eyelids that create a line of defense against dust and other elements to the eye. The eyelashes catch most of these irritants before they reach the eyeball.
Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American musician, record producer, and television host. He is the bassist and one of the two lead vocalists for the pop punk band Blink-182, as well as the bassist and lead vocalist for the alternative rock band +44. He is a co-founder of both bands. As of late, Hoppus has produced albums for groups such as Idiot Pilot, New Found Glory, The Matches, and Motion City Soundtrack. Hoppus currently hosts his own weekly television series, Hoppus on Music that premiered on September 16, 2010 on Fuse.
Born in Ridgecrest, California, Hoppus spent his childhood moving back and forth between his mother and father's houses, as they divorced when he was in third grade. He became interested in skateboarding and punk rock in junior high, and received a bass guitar from his father at the age of fifteen. He played in various bands until his sister, Anne, introduced him to Tom DeLonge, who she had met while attending Rancho Bernardo High School. Hoppus and Delonge then formed Blink-182, which became one of the most popular bands of the 2000s. Blink-182 disbanded in 2005, leading Hoppus to form the band +44 with fellow Blink-182 member Travis Barker. Blink-182 then announced their reformation in 2009. However, Hoppus states that he does not consider the +44 project to be "done".
Matthew Thomas Skiba (born February 24, 1976 in Chicago, Illinois) is the lead singer and guitarist of Alkaline Trio.
Matt Skiba was born in Chicago and moved to nearby McHenry at the age of three. He began playing piano and drums at an early age. His first concert was Public Image Ltd. In 1996, while working as a bike messenger, he decided to switch from drums to guitar. Prior to that he played in bands including Blunt, Jerkwater, and the Traitors.
His mother Joan Skiba is a fourth and fifth grade teacher at Woods Creek Elementary School in Crystal Lake, Illinois. His father Thomas Skiba is an oral surgeon in Crystal Lake. He has two younger twin sisters.
Skiba studied design at Chicago's Columbia College but left in 1996 to form Alkaline Trio with drummer Glenn Porter and bassist Rob Doran.
After the group recorded their demo and the single "Sundials," they recorded the For Your Lungs Only EP, during which Doran left the group. Dan Andriano joined and played bass on the EP. The band released their debut full-length Goddamnit on Asian Man Records in 1998, followed by Maybe I'll Catch Fire and the compilation Alkaline Trio in 2000.

Genres: Comedy, Drama, Musical,lt's a quarter to four now
l wanna open the door now
just to watch you bathe in a moon light heaven
we drank a lot of wine and
and you spent the night and
you said things you never said before
don't leave me loney for a minute
my glass is full look you're in it
don't blink we're fine l'm here you're mine
don't breath don't run
stay a little longer
don't blink we're fine l'm here you're mine
stay a little longer
You terrify me
Well you terrify yourself
But you feel so fine and you look so good
I just can not fight it baby
I knew this would happen
So don’t disappoint me now
You did things you never did before
I’m not gonna think it’s the real thing
But I kinda know what you’re feeling
Chorus
Stay a little longer
Stay a little longer
Don’t leave me lonely for a minute
My glass is full look you’re in it
