U.S. Air Force Airmen from the South Carolina Air National Guard’s 169th Fighter Wing from McEntire Joint National Guard Base, are deployed to Łask Air Base in support of Operation ATLANTIC RESOLVE, during the month of June. The training mission, called an Aviation Detachment Rotation, will pair Swamp Fox F-16 pilots and maintenance crews with their Polish Air Force counterparts at Łask Air Base, during Operation ATLANTIC RESOLVE. This bilateral training, held by U.S. Air Forces Europe and Air Forces Africa, has taken place since 2012. Through strengthened relationships and engagements with our allies, the U.S. and NATO demonstrate their shared commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Europe. Łask [wask] is a town in central Poland with 18,948 inhabitants (2004). It's the capital of Łask County, and is situated in Łódź Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Sieradz Voivodeship (1975–1998). 32nd Air Base of the Polish Air Force is located nearby.
With the invasion of Poland and the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Łask was occupied by the Wehrmacht and annexed by Nazi Germany. It was administered as part of the county or district (kreis) of Lask within Reichsgau Wartheland. Following the arrival of the Red Army and the end of the war, Łask became part of the People's Republic of Poland.

Po zakwaterowaniu się jedziemy zwiedzić Yonghegong (Pałac Pokoju i Harmonii), który obecnie jest jednym z największych i najważniejszych klasztorów buddyzmu tybetańskiego na świecie. Yonghegong składa się z pięciu hal, poprzedzonych dziedzińcami. Są to kolejno: Pawilon Niebiańskich Królów, Pawilon Harmonii i Pokoju, Pawilon Nieskończonych Łask, Pawilon Koła Dharmy oraz Pawilon Wiecznej Szczęśliwości. Zwiedzamy też znajdującą się w pobliżu Świątynię Konfucjusza i Akademię Cesarską. Na terenie świątyni znajduje się 198 kamiennych tablic, na których przez czasy panowania dynastii Yuan, Ming i Qing zapisywano nazwiska osób, które zdały egzaminy urzędnicze w położonej tuż za murem Akademii. Ogółem wyryto 51,624 nazwisk. Kamienne stele z inskrypcjami umieszczono także w 14 świątynnych pawilonach. Wieczorem idziemy na Plac Niebiańskiego Spokoju, obserwując z zaciekawieniem mieszkańców, sklepy i ruch uliczny. Do Pekinu przylatujemy z Amsterdamu. Po zakwaterowaniu się jedziemy zwiedzić Yonghegong (Pałac Pokoju i Harmonii), który obecnie jest jednym z największych i najważniejszych klasztorów buddyzmu tybetańskiego na świecie. Yonghegong składa się z pięciu hal, poprzedzonych dziedzińcami. Są to kolejno: Pawilon Niebiańskich Królów, Pawilon Harmonii i Pokoju, Pawilon Nieskończonych Łask, Pawilon Koła Dharmy oraz Pawilon Wiecznej Szczęśliwości. Zwiedzamy też znajdującą się w pobliżu Świątynię Konfucjusza i Akademię Cesarską. Na terenie świątyni znajduje się 198 kamiennych tablic, na których przez czasy panowania dynastii Yuan, Ming i Qing zapisywano nazwiska osób, które zdały egzaminy urzędnicze w położonej tuż za murem Akademii. Ogółem wyryto 51,624 nazwisk. Kamienne stele z inskrypcjami umieszczono także w 14 świątynnych pawilonach. Wieczorem idziemy na Plac Niebiańskiego Spokoju, obserwując z zaciekawieniem mieszkańców, sklepy i ruch uliczny. Na drugi dzień również udajemy się na Plac Niebiańskiego Spokoju i obserwujemy gigantyczne kolejki do Mauzoleum Mao Zedonga. Sami też oglądamy zabalsamowanego Mao, ale filmowanie jest niemożliwe.

Horton Common CS is a new Certified Site with the Camping and Caravanning Club. The site accommodates up to five caravans or motorhomes and up to ten tents and trailer tents.
The site has expansive views over the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District National Park. The whole of the historic market town of Leek can be seen from all caravan/motorhome pitches. There is a bus to Leek which passes the caravan site Mon-Fri which will stop if waved down.
There is a wide entrance to the campsite set back 18 meters off a straight stretch of Lask Edge Road with a lockable gate. There are five super serviced pitches providing a 16A supply, two taps and grey water removal. Two taps are provided so one can be a permanent water connection to your van or your Aqua roll etc and the second tap can be used at the same time for filling up drinking water containers. We provide a trough and drain pipe for grey water removal.
The field is slightly sloping and the caravan, campervan and motor home pitches are generally level, however we do provide levelling blocks and pads.
There is an area of the field for up to ten tents and trailer tents. The tent area has its own drinking water tap and we can provide up to four tents with a 16A power socket.
There are a lot of attractions and activities in the area including several National Trust properties such as Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall. There is also Rudyard Lake close to the caravan site and Tittersworth Reservoir. There are also pottery museums in Stoke-on-Trent and various theme parks such as Water World and Alton Towers is within a reasonable distance.
You do have to be members of the Camping and Caravanning Club before you can stay with us, however we can sign you up on site.

This restaurant is called Die Weisse after the first beer that they brewed themselves and that is still the best beer that they sell. It is a local restaurant and I did not hear anyone in the place speaking English!
This was one of the best meals that I have had abroad and if you are in Salzburg, you must go here! Just ask the people working at your hotel or hostel how to get to "Die Weisse" restaurant and I promise you wont regret eating there. :)

What a great time shooting friends high-lining (highlining) at Sahalie Falls on the McKenzie Pass here in Oregon. While I can't & didn't highline, I was half tempted to do a hand over hand crawl across the waterfall just to say I did it. Instead, I hung back and grabbed a ton of great footage.

Final Cut Pro X at 1080p 30p
For this edit, while the brushless gimbal was quite smooth, I did stabilization just a tad more using the default stabilizer in fcpx.
Shooting with ProTune off does require color correction for all clips for which I bumped saturation, adjusted contrast in shadows, highlights and mid-tones when needed. I added a plug-in from Pixel Film Studios called ProMorphic for the lens flares to help hide the natural lens flares I was getting in some of my shots. I then finished off by adding some sharpness to each clip.. Transitions were a simple cross dissolve.
I used a combination of FPV (first person view) and line of sight on my Quadcopter. The FPV I view on a monitor attached to my radio. You can also find this at XProHeli's website listed above.

I then finished off by adding some sharpness to each clip.. Transitions were a simple cross dissolve.
I used a combination of FPV (first person view) and line of sight on my Quadcopter. The FPV I view on a monitor attached to my radio. You can also find this at XProHeli's website listed above.
