Tehran, April 30, IRNA - Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) and Iran Labor House have called on the International Labor Organization to repatriate the workers deceived by the terrorist Mojahideen Khalq Organization (MKO).

The ADVT said in a statement released on the occasion of the International Labor Day that despite various international documents and conventions of the International Labor Organization, International Economic and Social Rights Covenant (articles 6, 7, and 8) and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (articles 23 and 24) workers are subject to various forms of aggression, massacre and abuse by the governments and the terrorist and Mafia groups to the extent that they have always constituted for considerable number of those suffering from terrorist and armed conflicts.
It said that in fact, workers suffer from terror in two blind and purposeful ways.

In fact, the MKO uses job finding in its favor, deceiving many youth in Iran under the pretext of working in Europe, illegally transferring them to its terrorist structure in Iraq and confiscating their ID documents and forcing them to undergo military and terrorist training and forced labor.
Such an issue, it added, is on the one hand contrary to the ILO Convention 29 and a clear example of violation of human rights of the people regarding freedom to select type and location of job (Article 23 of the Universal Human Rights Declaration). On the other hand, it said, it is in contrast with all the regulations which determine the type of behavior with workers using workers is an instance of crime. Meanwhile, families of the people should be added to the convention, the statement said, adding that the families have been subject to abundant pain and suffering in loss of their loved ones and follow difficult life.
Condemning the crimes, the ADVT asks authorized international organizations to put on agenda the repatriate the workers deceived and taken captive by the inhumane structure of the MKO, losing their essential freedom. The organizations should secure freedom of the workers, it added.
On behalf of the families of the workers who were deceived by the terrorist groups under pretext of job finding and fallen in trap of terrorist structures, the ILO should prepare the ground for the High Confederation of Iranian Workers and the ADVT to lodge a complaint with the international courts against the groups to prevent repetition of such violations.
In the meantime, the families of the workers killed during terrorist attacks or suffered physical disabilities need to be paid special attention such as insurance, legal and psychotherapy support by the international institutions.
