There will be presentations on Mt. Fuji, a symbol of Japan and a World Cultural Heritage site, and various foods of Shizuoka, which is located in the foot of Mt. Fuji.
Shizuoka City, Hamamatsu City, Fujieda City, Fukuroi City and Shimada tea production cooperation from Shizuoka prefecture will be participating in the event and will promote local food of Shizuoka, such as Shizuoka Tea, raw Wasabi (Japanese horseradish) and Japanese sake. There also will be cooking demonstrations by chefs and food and drink tasting.

Kogetsudo is my local hobby shop in Fuji City, Shizuoka-ken. The guys at this store are incredibly cool, and they gave me permission to take a video to showcase their great store. While filming, I had a nice conversation with the guy, despite my limitations with the language. I told him about the American government bullying Tamiya and forcing them to relabel their paints and such. He showed me several great items he has, from paint supplies to plastic models. You'll see plenty of great anime models as well as car models in this video.

While filming, I had a nice conversation with the guy, despite my limitations with the language. 日本の象徴である富士山！何度見ても壮大である。高さは３７７６メートルである。東名高速を使い東京方面に向かう際に富士川サービスエリアで休憩し綺麗な富士山を撮影した。春になったがまだ雪化粧で綺麗な富士山であった。学生時代から東京に住んでいたが静岡の実家に車で帰省する際、何十回もこのサービスエリアを利用していた。レストラン、お土産屋さん等も充実しており大きい。近くには富士川が流れ、富士山の樹海や富士市の町並みが綺麗である。ちなみにここのサービスエリアは東名に入ってなくても外から入れる。それに加え、ETCで出ることも可能である。富士山最高！ When I went to Tokyo by using highway from my hometown. I used Fujikawa-service area and could see beautiful Mount.Fuji. This season is Spring season,but the top was covered with snow. It was so beautiful. When I was a student,I lived in Tokyo. When I came back to My hometown(Shizuoka) from Tokyo by my car,I often used this service-area. There are some restaurants and shops in this area and the size is big, If you visit in Japan,you should visit to see Mount.Fuji. -

Kogetsudo is my local hobby shop in Fuji City, Shizuoka-ken. The guys at this store are incredibly cool, and they gave me permission to take a video to showcase their great store. While filming, I had a nice conversation with the guy, despite my limitations with the language. I told him about the American government bullying Tamiya and forcing them to relabel their paints and such. He showed me several great items he has, from paint supplies to plastic models. You'll see plenty of great anime models as well as car models in this video.

When I went to Tokyo by using highway from my hometown. I used Fujikawa-service area and could see beautiful Mount.Fuji. This season is Spring season,but the top was covered with snow. It was so beautiful.

When I came back to My hometown(Shizuoka) from Tokyo by my car,I often used this service-area. There are some restaurants and shops in this area and the size is big,

The closest railway station
is Kanaya Station on the Tokaido Main Line
and the Oigawa Main Line.
It is about 6 km from the airport.
Taxi service to Shizuoka Station,
a major station in the area,
is available for 8,500 yen.
Buses run by three operators connect
the airport to various railroad stations.
The time required for the trip is
about 55 minutes to Shizuoka Station,
25 minutes to Shimada Station,
42 minutes to Kakegawa Station stopping
en route at Kikugawa Station,
two hours to Hamamatsu Station,
and 215 minutes to Kawaguchi Station
with continuing service to
Fujikyu Bus Terminal near Fuji-Q Highland.

Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri kurang berkembang dan hanya terdiri dari tempat parkir, toilet, dua toko kecil dan restoran. Anda dapat mencapai pos kelima ini melalui jalan berkelok-kelok melewati hutan Gunung Fuji.
Bagian pertama dari jalur Subashiri berada di bawah pepohonan dan berjalan melewati hutan. Namun jalur ini tidak padat seperti jalur lainnya sebelum terhubung dengan jalur Yoshida di sekitar pos kedelapan . Pendakian pos kelima Subashiri memakan waktu sekitar. 5-8 jam dan turunnya memakan waktu sekitar tiga sampai lima jam.
Selain jalur menuju ke puncak Gunung Fuji, Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri menyajikan jalur pendakian yang lebih pendek menuju ke puncak kecil, Kofuji. Dapat ditempuh kurang lebih 20 menit berjalan kaki dari Pos Kelima.

Dengan bus dari Stasiun Gotemba
Bus beroperasi antara stasiun Gotemba dan Pos Pendakian Kelima Subashiri setiap hari selama musim pendakian.Memakan waktu 60 menit perjalanan.
Dari Tokyo ke Gotemba
Bisa mengambil kereta jalur JR Tokaido dari Tokyo ke Kozu dan berganti ke kereta jalur JR Gotemba menuju Gotemba.
Selain itu, Anda juga bisa mengambil kereta jalur Odakyu Odawara dari Shinjuku ke Stasiun Shin-Matsuda , menuju ke Stasiun JR Matsuda dan mengambil kereta jalur JR Gotemba ke Gotemba.
Tersedia beberapa kereta cepat terbatas Asagiri yang beroperasi langsung antara Shinjuku dan Stasiun Gotemba .
Dari Osaka, Kyoto dan Nagoya ke Gotemba
Anda dapat naik kereta Hikari sepanjang jalur JR Tokaido Shinkansen menuju ke Stasiun Mishima dan ambil arah balik ke satu stasiun yang menuju ke Stasiun Numazu sepanjang jalur utama JR Tokaido . Kemudian ganti kereta jalur JR Gotemba yang menuju ke Stasiun Gotemba.
Dengan bus dari Stasiun Shin-Matsuda
Tersedia 1-5 bus per hari dari Stasiun Shin-Matsuda menuju ke Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri , beroperasi hanya pada musim pendakian .

Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri kurang berkembang dan hanya terdiri dari tempat parkir, toilet, dua toko kecil dan restoran. Anda dapat mencapai pos kelima ini melalui jalan berkelok-kelok melewati hutan Gunung Fuji.
Bagian pertama dari jalur Subashiri berada di bawah pepohonan dan berjalan melewati hutan. Namun jalur ini tidak padat seperti jalur lainnya sebelum terhubung dengan jalur Yoshida di sekitar pos kedelapan . Pendakian pos kelima Subashiri memakan waktu sekitar. 5-8 jam dan turunnya memakan waktu sekitar tiga sampai lima jam.
Selain jalur menuju ke puncak Gunung Fuji, Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri menyajikan jalur pendakian yang lebih pendek menuju ke puncak kecil, Kofuji. Dapat ditempuh kurang lebih 20 menit berjalan kaki dari Pos Kelima.

Dengan bus dari Stasiun Gotemba
Bus beroperasi antara stasiun Gotemba dan Pos Pendakian Kelima Subashiri setiap hari selama musim pendakian.Memakan waktu 60 menit perjalanan.
Dari Tokyo ke Gotemba
Bisa mengambil kereta jalur JR Tokaido dari Tokyo ke Kozu dan berganti ke kereta jalur JR Gotemba menuju Gotemba.
Selain itu, Anda juga bisa mengambil kereta jalur Odakyu Odawara dari Shinjuku ke Stasiun Shin-Matsuda , menuju ke Stasiun JR Matsuda dan mengambil kereta jalur JR Gotemba ke Gotemba.
Tersedia beberapa kereta cepat terbatas Asagiri yang beroperasi langsung antara Shinjuku dan Stasiun Gotemba .
Dari Osaka, Kyoto dan Nagoya ke Gotemba
Anda dapat naik kereta Hikari sepanjang jalur JR Tokaido Shinkansen menuju ke Stasiun Mishima dan ambil arah balik ke satu stasiun yang menuju ke Stasiun Numazu sepanjang jalur utama JR Tokaido . Kemudian ganti kereta jalur JR Gotemba yang menuju ke Stasiun Gotemba.
Dengan bus dari Stasiun Shin-Matsuda
Tersedia 1-5 bus per hari dari Stasiun Shin-Matsuda menuju ke Pos Pendakian kelima Subashiri , beroperasi hanya pada musim pendakian .

Merupakan jalur paling berkembang dan paling mudah diakses oleh angkutan umum dari Tokyo. Pos kelima jalur Fuji Subaru bisa diakses hampir sepanjang tahun jika kondisi turunnya salju memungkinkan . Ini adalah tempat populer untuk melihat pemandangan bahkan di saat bukan musim pendakian.
Anda akan sampai di stasiun dengan jalur Subaru, sebuah jalan tol menakjubkan yang dimulai dari Kota Kawaguchiko . Selain itu, jalan ini juga ditutup untuk kendaraan pribadi selama musim pendakian. Oleh karena itu Anda dapat naik shuttle bus dari stasiun Kawaguchiko menuju pos kelima.

Pada ketinggian 2300 meter di atas permukaan laut, Pos Pendakian kelima Jalur Fuji menawarkan pemandangan area Lima Danau Fuji , sebuah tempat yang populer bahkan untuk orang-orang yang tidak berminat untuk mendaki gunung. Anda akan sampai di tempat untuk menikmati pemandangan Kota Fujiyoshida dan Danau Yamanaka di Kuil Komitake Shrine di belakang toko-toko.
Jalur ini juga mempunyai pemandangan matahari terbit yang indah. Naiklah selama 5-7 jam dan kemudian membutuhkan sekitar 3-5 jam untuk turun.

Pos Pendakian Fujinomiya adalah jalur populer kedua dan jalur pendakian utama paling berkembang kedua dari empat pos pendakian kelima yang ada di Gunung Fuji. Jalur pendakian utama adalah yang termudah untuk dilalui angkutan umum dari sebelah barat Jepang. Tersedia bus langsung dari Shin – Fuji dan Stasiun Mishima dengan Shinkansen JR Tokaido .
Bersamaan dengan banyaknya mobil yang parkir, jalur utama pendakian ini menyediakan toko, restoran dan toilet. jalur ini merupakan rute terpendek menuju puncak Gunung Fuji. Pendakian memakan waktu 4-7 jam. Jalur turunnya memakan waktu 2-6 jam. Anda juga dapat menemukan sekitar setengah lusin pondok gunung di sepanjang jalan ini.
Selain itu jalur utama pendakian ini juga jalur pendakian yang lebih pendek menuju oieizan, dekat puncak sekunder yang memiliki kawah di lereng sebelah tenggara Gunung Fuji. Dari puncak pada ketinggian 2.693 meter Hoeizan menyajikan pemandangan indah dari Samudera Pasifik dan kota Tokyo di kejauhan pada saat hari cerah.

日本の象徴である富士山！何度見ても壮大である。高さは３７７６メートルである。東名高速を使い東京方面に向かう際に富士川サービスエリアで休憩し綺麗な富士山を撮影した。春になったがまだ雪化粧で綺麗な富士山であった。学生時代から東京に住んでいたが静岡の実家に車で帰省する際、何十回もこのサービスエリアを利用していた。レストラン、お土産屋さん等も充実しており大きい。近くには富士川が流れ、富士山の樹海や富士市の町並みが綺麗である。ちなみにここのサービスエリアは東名に入ってなくても外から入れる。それに加え、ETCで出ることも可能である。富士山最高！
When I went to Tokyo by using highway from my hometown. I used Fujikawa-service area and could see beautiful Mount.Fuji. This season is Spring season,but the top was covered with snow. It was so beautiful.
When I was a student,I lived in Tokyo.
When I came back to My hometown(Shizuoka) from Tokyo by my car,I often used this service-area. There are some restaurants and shops in this area and the size is big,

日本の象徴である富士山！何度見ても壮大である。高さは３７７６メートルである。東名高速を使い東京方面に向かう際に富士川サービスエリアで休憩し綺麗な富士山を撮影した。春になったがまだ雪化粧で綺麗な富士山であった。学生時代から東京に住んでいたが静岡の実家に車で帰省する際、何十回もこのサービスエリアを利用していた。レストラン、お土産屋さん等も充実しており大きい。近くには富士川が流れ、富士山の樹海や富士市の町並みが綺麗である。ちなみにここのサービスエリアは東名に入ってなくても外から入れる。それに加え、ETCで出ることも可能である。富士山最高！
When I went to Tokyo by using highway from my hometown. I used Fujikawa-service area and could see beautiful Mount.Fuji. This season is Spring season,but the top was covered with snow. It was so beautiful.
When I was a student,I lived in Tokyo.
When I came back to My hometown(Shizuoka) from Tokyo by my car,I often used this service-area. There are some restaurants and shops in this area and the size is big,
If you visit in Japan,you should visit to see Mount.Fuji.

A former undercover CIA officer will be extradited to Italy to face charges over the 2003 extraordinary rendition of a terror suspect to Egypt, according to Raw Story quoting a UK Guardian story.Sabrina De Sousa, who holds US and Portuguese citizenship, was arrested in Portugal last October and has lost three appeals against being handed over to Italian authorities, the report said.
