Freemans Bay is the name of a former bay and now inner city suburb of Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand. The bay has been filled in to a considerable extent, with the reclamation area now totally concealing the ancient shoreline. Historically a poor and often disreputable quarter, it is now a comparatively wealthy and desirable neighbourhood known for its mix of heritage homes and more recent single-dwelling houses, as well as for its two large parks.
Since the turn of the 20th century, extensive land reclamation (partly using stone quarried from nearby headlands) has seen Freemans Bay itself disappear. The reclamation of the old bay was finished in 1901, and Victoria Park was created on most of the resulting flat area. It is still public land used mostly for sports purposes.
The coastline shifted more than one kilometre to the northwest of the city centre and is now composed of the concrete wharves of Viaduct Basin and the Tank Farm or as it is now renamed, the Wynyard Quarter.
The Bay School of San Francisco is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory high school that opened in 2004. The school moved into its current location in the Presidio of San Francisco in 2005. Its stated mission is to balance challenging academics with a mindful approach to learning and life. Their goal is to see students unlock their individual and collective potential so they can begin to realize their roles in a dynamic world.
In 1992, Malcolm Manson, a former headmaster of Marin Country Day School and the Cathedral School for Boys, conceived of the idea of a new high school. In 1996, the school became incorporated.
The school opened in 2004; at that time, a single class of freshmen made up the student body. During the first school year, students attended classes in a temporary building, a "long, majestic white building on Schofield Road facing the bay". In August 2005, the school moved to its current (permanent) location on 35 Keyes Avenue.
Western Park is the name of various areas worldwide:
A street is a public thoroughfare (usually paved) in a built environment. It is a public parcel of land adjoining buildings in an urban context, on which people may freely assemble, interact, and move about. A street can be as simple as a level patch of dirt, but is more often paved with a hard, durable surface such as concrete, cobblestone or brick. Portions may also be smoothed with asphalt, embedded with rails, or otherwise prepared to accommodate non-pedestrian traffic.
Originally the word "street" simply meant a paved road (Latin: "via strata"). The word "street" is still sometimes used colloquially as a synonym for "road", for example in connection with the ancient Watling Street, but city residents and urban planners draw a crucial modern distinction: a road's main function is transportation, while streets facilitate public interaction. Examples of streets include pedestrian streets, alleys, and city-centre streets too crowded for road vehicles to pass. Conversely, highways and motorways are types of roads, but few would refer to them as streets.

Two people have suffered stab wounds after an incident in the Auckland suburb of Freemans Bay. Senior Sergeant Matt Knowsley said a man has been arrested in relation to the incident. Police responded to the incident earlier this evening, and found the victims shortly afterwards. Police arrested a man after finding two people with stab wounds in the Auckland suburb of Freemans Bay. Both victims, one male and one female, were over 65-years-old, the NZ Herald reported. Both have been taken to hospital with moderate injuries. Police went to an address to speak to a man who was suspected of causing the stab wounds, but he did not want to come out. Police forced their way in and arrested him, Knowsley said. All involved lived in the same area and appeared to know each other, he said...

We're Going To Be Friends children's book available now: http://smarturl.it/WGTBFbook If there was ever a lyric destined for the pages of a children’s book, this is it. Jack and Meg White have performed the song for kids since the beginning. In October 2003, the audience was the student population of Freeman’s Bay Primary School in New Zealand. The White Stripes tour manager at the time was a close personal friend of the principal of the school. Jack and Meg provided a nice primer on American blues history and the kids seemed to enjoy themselves in this sweet, innocent performance that has been kept mostly under-wraps in the fourteen years since it took place. WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS (Third Man Books, 2017) the children’s book is available at bookstores everywhere. About the author a...
