Ceci est la première vidéo faite par une chaine publique occidentale avec une certaine objectivité sur la Syrie. J'ai écrit depuis 2011 que ce soit sur la Syrie que sur la Libye que le trio Obama, Cameron et Sarkozy étaient à coté de la plaque. Hollande est venu démontrer un tel amateurisme en politique internationale que je me suis demandé pas 100 mais 1000 fois si la prétendue démocratie avancée ne faisait émerger que les plus médiocres.
Je tire un chapeau à Madame Soula pour son courage dans ce documentaire à dire exactement ce que je dis depuis 2011 sans peur des représailles de la part de ses supérieurs à France-Télévision, par exemple qu'on ne peut pas appeler "rebelles modérés" des gens armés. Cette vidéo dure 1 heure et 25 minutes. Prenez le temps de tout regarder.
La leçon pour les africains qui sont prêts à déstabiliser leurs pays depuis Paris, Londres ou Washington qu'aujourd'hui, vous risquez de n'avoir au final que vos yeux pour pleurer les cendres dans lesquelles vous aurez réduit votre pays. L'Ambassade de Syrie en France donnée par la France à une syrien qui vivait là depuis 1970 avec passeport français, doit nous réveiller sur nos faux débats sur la double nationalité. Arabic pronunciation (help·info)), is a country in Western Asia, bordering Lebanon and the Mediterranean Sea to the West, Turkey to the north, Iraq to the east, Jordan to the south, and Israel to the southwest.
In English, the name Syria was formerly synonymous with the Levant, known in Arabic as Sham, while the modern state encompasses the sites of several ancient kingdoms and empires, including the Eblan civilization of the third millennium BC. In the Islamic era, its capital city, Damascus, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, was the seat of the Umayyad Caliphate, and a provincial capital of the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt.
The population of Syria is 74% Sunni, 12% Alawi, 10% Christian, and 3% Druze. Combined, 87% of the Syrian population is Muslim, while the other 10% is Christian, which includes mainly Arab Christians but also Assyrians and Armenians. Major ethnic minorities in Syria include Kurds (9%), Assyrians, Armenians, Turkmens and Circassians. The majority of the population is Arab (90%).

SYRIE, LE GRAND AVEUGLEMENT - FRANCE-2 JPP21/02/16 Ceci est la première vidéo faite par une chaine publique occidentale avec une certaine objectivité sur la Syrie. La guerre en Syrie a déjà fait plus de 100 000 morts. La région d'Alep en compte à elle seule plus de 30 000. Un an après le début de la bataille d'Alep, nous avons voulu savoir ce qu'il restait de cette ville quatre fois millénaire. De ce qui était autrefois le cœur économique du pays, il ne reste presque plus rien. De la vieille ville classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ne subsistent que des ruines. J'ai écrit depuis 2011 que ce soit sur la Syrie que sur la Libye que le trio Obama, Cameron et Sarkozy étaient à coté de la plaque. Hollande est venu démontrer un tel amateurisme en politique internationale que je me suis demandé pas 100 mais 1000 fois si la prétendue démocratie avancée ne faisait émerger que les plus médiocres.
Je tire un chapeau à Madame Soula pour son courage dans ce documentaire à dire exactement ce que je dis depuis 2011 sans peur des représailles de la part de ses supérieurs à France-Télévision, par exemple qu'on ne peut pas appeler "rebelles modérés" des gens armés. Cette vidéo dure 1 heure et 25 minutes. Prenez le temps de tout regarder.
La leçon pour les africains qui sont prêts à déstabiliser leurs pays depuis Paris, Londres ou Washington qu'aujourd'hui, vous risquez de n'avoir au final que vos yeux pour pleurer les cendres dans lesquelles vous aurez réduit votre pays. L'Ambassade de Syrie en France donnée par la France à une syrien qui vivait là depuis 1970 avec passeport français, doit nous réveiller sur nos faux débats sur la double nationalité. Je reste convaincu que si quelqu'un a étudié ou séjourné à l'étranger, il ne peut pas accéder aux hautes fonctions de l'Etat en Afrique.

La guerre en Syrie a déjà fait plus de 100 000 morts. La région d'Alep en compte à elle seule plus de 30 000.
Un an après le début de la bataille d'Alep, nous avons voulu savoir ce qu'il restait de cette ville quatre fois millénaire.
De ce qui était autrefois le cœur économique du pays, il ne reste presque plus rien. De la vieille ville classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, ne subsistent que des ruines. Méthodiquement, les chars, les mortiers et les hélicoptères de Bachar Al-Assad ont détruit des quartiers entiers.
La plupart des habitants ont fui. A Alep, ne restent plus que les combattants et leurs familles ; ceux qui n'ont pas les moyens de partir également. Nous sommes allés à la rencontre de ces hommes et ces femmes pour comprendre leurs motivations, leurs espoirs, pour découvrir aussi comment on survit dans Alep assiégée.
Nous avons rencontré Abdul Malik. A 29 ans, cet ancien employé de l'industrie pharmaceutique se bat aujourd'hui avec la kalachnikov de son frère, tombé au combat il y a quelques semaines. Nous avons découvert ses hommes aussi, ces combattants sunnites qui deux fois par semaine risquent leur vie pour ravitailler les retraités chrétiens de leur quartier.
Nous avons suivi ces combattantes kurdes qui, à moins de 30 ans, dirigent les opérations sur le front, des dizaines d'hommes sous leurs ordres. Chez ces citoyens de deuxième zone, on combat pour reprendre son quartier, pour reconquérir son identité aussi.
Dans la banlieue d'Alep, nous avons rencontré Yasser, l'ancien forgeron devenu artificier pour la cause. Ses roquettes de fortunes et ses grenades artisanales lui ont déjà coûté une main mais chaque jour, il perfectionne ses inventions...
Nous avons vu les hommes en noir aussi, les djihadistes. Mieux armés, mieux entrainés que la plupart des rebelles, ils gagnent du terrain. Contre Bachar bien sûr mais pour Dieu surtout.
Alep, un an après, c'est le portrait d'une ville dévastée qui tente de renaitre dès que les bombardements cessent, c'est le portrait surtout de ses habitants. De ceux qui vivent et qui font la guerre en Syrie.

The influence of the legendary oasis city grew due to it having been regarded as a province of Rome. The Romans soon recognized the strategic importance of Palmyra as it was a vital centre of trade in the Near East. Palmyra’s fine buildings such as its Amphitheatre were typical of its impressive architecture. Most of the Tetrapylon has been restored. It towers high above the ancient ruins and the Great Colonnade was once the main street of the historic metropolis. Beyond the city walls in the Valley Of Tombs the mystic atmosphere of the former caravan city becomes apparent. Several well preserved mausoleums give the surreal looking desert landscape a truly ghostly atmosphere. The architecture of these multi-floored burial places are unique in the world. The view from the Arabian fortress extends across the picturesque ruins of the city to the endless horizons of the desert. The oasis and ancient remains of Palmyra look almost surreal as if in a dream yet the old ruins and the mighty fortress really do exist in very tangible and resplendent form.

The Romans built a fort here that was constantly extended with impressive walls and towers and located directly outside the city wall, the River Barada was also of strategic importance. Although the Mongols destroyed the inner buildings, the fortress walls survived. The Suq is an important part of every Islamic city, a market that originated in ancient times. Thousands of shops in numerous interconnected lanes form the commercial heart of Damascus. In the Gold Suq everything glitters, bracelets, rings and even a large variety of kitchen utensils. Damascus has for thousands of years been a place desired by the powerful. Yet it has managed to survive and is still the most beautiful capital city in the Near East.

Syria, officially the Syrian Arab Republic, is a country in Western Asia, bordering Lebanon and the Mediterranean Sea to the west, Turkey to the north, Iraq to the east, Jordan to the south, and Israel to the southwest. Its capital Damascus is among the oldest continuously-inhabited cities in the world. A country of fertile plains, high mountains, and deserts, it is home to diverse ethnic and religious groups, including the Arab, Greeks, Armenians, Assyrians, Kurds, Circassians, Mhallami, Mandeans and Turks. Religious groups include Sunni, Christians, Alawite, Druze religion, Mandeanism and Yezidi. Sunni Arabs make up the largest population group in Syria.
In English, the name "Syria" was formerly synonymous with the Levant (known in Arabic as al-Sham) while the modern state encompasses the sites of several ancient kingdoms and empires, including the Eblan civilization of the 3rd millennium BC. In the Islamic era, Damascus was the seat of the Umayyad Caliphate and a provincial capital of the Mamluk Sultanate in Egypt.
The modern Syrian state was established after World War I as a French mandate, and represented the largest Arab state to emerge from the formerly Ottoman-ruled Arab Levant. It gained independence in April 1946, as a parliamentary republic. The post-independence period was tumultuous, and a large number of military coups and coup attempts shook the country in the period 1949–1971. Between 1958-61, Syria entered a brief union with Egypt, which was terminated by a military coup. The Arab Republic of Syria came into being in 1963, transforming from the Republic of Syria in the Ba'athist coup d'état. Syria was under Emergency Law from 1963 to 2011, effectively suspending most constitutional protections for citizens, and its system of government is considered to be non-democratic. Bashar al-Assad has been president since 2000 and was preceded by his father Hafez al-Assad, who was in office from 1970 to 2000.
