Today marks Heritage Day; a day which all South Africans are encouraged to celebrate their cultural traditions by showing their diversity of cultures and traditions which all play a part in the South Africa we now know. Today we are coming to you from Galeshewe Stadium to kick off the official Heritage day celebrations.Tribute will be paid to South Africa's living legends for their heroic contribution in affirming the country's unique cultural identity and their role in preserving living heritage.

Chariot Of Fire Tabernacle - Heritage Day Celebration
Hundreds of people, including politicians, dignitaries and business persons, have arrived at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban to celebrate Heritage Day. The celebration also includes King Shaka's 200 years of ascending to the throne. The Amabutho in traditional attire are singing traditional songs together with various denominations such as Shembe church. Action 2015, is a concept that was announced by Malala Yousafzai when she accepted the Nobel Peace Prize to ensure that the agreements of 2015 are shaped by decisiveness. Here in South Africa, today civil society, aid groups, youths and the public will be part of mobilisations taking place in over 100 countries across the world ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in a campaign called Global Day of Action. Events will be held at the historical Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, and Signal Hill in Cape Town as campaigners call on governments to commit to the new Global Goals and tackle the most urgent issues of our time - poverty, inequality and climate change.
