TomTom Go 5100 Detailed Hands on & Review
After 2 weeks of usage, I found TomTom Go
5100 /
6100 is a very capable
GPS device which can take on any other
GPS devices around the world now. Here are some of the features I love and some of the features that didn't work for me.
1, Specifically the built in
SIM with free life time traffic and with free roaming around the world is a wonderful feature to have.
2, My
Drive app on the PC was fun, and sending location from PC to GPS was cool. Though mobile app was not compatible with my smart phone (
Xperia M), only smart phones with Bluetooth
PAN features will only work.
3, No Bluetooth connectivity to GPS to take call from GPS like most of the Garmin having. But it's not a deal breaker as most of the cars now have a built in Bluetooth with steering mounted controls for phone calls.
