Plot: Kevin is no stranger to trouble, but nothing could prepare him for the unraveling of a mysterious local legend. Plot: Mildy influenced by The Divine Comedy, the story replaces Virgil with Socrates and Dante with a Librarian. We open in a large field where Socrates is pacing up and down deploring the heavens. He is the caretaker of Hell and has been for 2400 years. He is waiting for a man of pure soul to fall from the sky. His hope is that he can train this man to take on his role and he can ascend to heaven for 'spas and baths and young boys rubbing down my...soul'. A librarian falls out of the sky and as Socrates shows him around one of the first levels of Hell. Socrates must trick this man into accepting the job. This story tells the beginnings of that journey.

Questo lavoro, che egli disprezza, farà venir fuori tutta la sua genialità e gli consentirà, addirittura, di ottenere un'ottimo lavoro presso la stessa società che lo aveva licenziato. La vendetta sembra ormai dimenticata e con essa la moglie ed il figlio lasciati in provincia. Vorrebbe costruire una vita "tranquilla" con Anna, ma l'amore svanisce con l'arrivo delle comodità e del benessere borghese. Alla fine, Luciano accompagna Anna alla stazione, salutandola definitivamente, e corre ad accogliere la moglie ed il figlio, appena arrivati a Milano per ricomporre la famiglia.
