While flying the PMDG MD11 in the Hong Kong and Taipei New Year event on the 30th of January 2015, I was private messaged by the controllers at Shanghai and invited to participate in their event, and so I jumped out of the MD11, and into the PMDG 777-300ER.

Shanghai Pudong International Airport
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (IATA: PVG, ICAO: ZSPD) is the primary international airport serving Shanghai, and a major aviation hub for Asia. The city's other major airport, Hongqiao, mainly serves domestic flights. Located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of the city centre, Pudong Airport occupies a 40-square-kilometre (10,000-acre) site adjacent to the coastline in eastern Pudong. The airport is operated by Shanghai Airport Authority (Chinese: 上海机场集团有限公司, SSE: 600009).
The airport is the main hub for China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, and a major international hub for Air China. It is also the hub for privately owned Juneyao Airlines and Spring Airlines, and an Asian-Pacific cargo hub for UPS and DHL. The DHL hub, opened in July 2012, is said to be the biggest express hub in Asia.
Pudong Airport has two main passenger terminals, flanked on both sides by four parallel runways. A third passenger terminal is planned for 2015, in addition to a satellite terminal and two additional runways, raising its annual capacity from 60 million passengers to 80 million, along with the ability to handle six million tonnes of freight.

Shanghai
Shanghai is the largest Chinese city by population and the largest city proper by population in the world. It is one of the four direct-controlled municipalities of China, with a population of more than 24 million as of 2014. It is a global financial center, and a transport hub with the world's busiest container port. Located in the Yangtze River Delta in East China, Shanghai sits on the south edge of the mouth of the Yangtze in the middle portion of the Chinese coast. The municipality borders the provinces of Jiangsu and Zhejiang to the north, south and west, and is bounded to the east by the East China Sea.

The city then flourished as a center of commerce between east and west, and became the undisputed financial hub of the Asia Pacific in the 1930s. However, with the Communist Party takeover of the mainland in 1949, trade was reoriented to focus on socialist countries, and the city's global influence declined. In the 1990s, the economic reforms introduced by Deng Xiaoping resulted in an intense re-development of the city, aiding the return of finance and foreign investment to the city.

Precision Manuals Development Group
Precision Manuals Development Group (often abbreviated as PMDG) is a commercial add-on aircraft developer for the Microsoft Flight Simulator,Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, and X-Plane series. The company was founded by airline pilot Robert Randazzo, who stated that his ultimate goal was to develop the software to the point where it could be used by airlines and manufacturers to supplement pilot training. The company is based out of Virginia but has several employees in countries such Belgium, South Africa, and Canada. It has nine employees as of 2009, with a collection of beta testers which include multiple aviation professionals.
PMDG's software has received praise for its realism. This led the company to be one of several flight simulation companies that were criticized in the wake of the September 11 attacks, as some critics felt that the software made it easier for potential terrorists to learn to fly commercial planes.
Company background
The company began by producing detailed flight manuals, hence its name. However, the company soon moved on to developing add-on aircraft after creating only two manuals for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 747 and 757. The first aircraft development was a package of the Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 for the Fly! simulator, which could be played on Macintosh or PC. On 25 October 2014, it was announced on PMDG's AVSIM forum, that the Boeing 777-200LR base package will be available on the Prepar3D platform.

While flying the PMDG MD11 in the Hong Kong and Taipei New Year event on the 30th of January 2015, I was private messaged by the controllers at Shanghai and invited to participate in their event, and so I jumped out of the MD11, and into the PMDG 777-300ER.

The ADIZ contains the following directive.
1. Aircraft flying in the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone should report flight plan to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China
2. Aircraft flying in the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone must respond in a timely and accurate manner to the identification inquiries from the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone
Aircraft flying in the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone should follow the instructions of the administrative organ of the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone or the unit authorized by the organ.
China's armed forces will adopt defensive emergency measures to respond to aircraft that do not cooperate in the identification or refuse to follow the instructions
