Édgar Badía

Édgar Badía Guardiola (born 12 February 1992) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CF Reus Deportiu as a goalkeeper.

Club career

Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Badía was a product of local RCD Espanyol. He spent his first seasons as a senior competing in Segunda División B and Tercera División, with the B-team.

On 11 January 2012 Badía made his official debut with the main squad, playing the full 90 minutes in a 4–2 home win against Córdoba CF for the campaign's Copa del Rey (5–4 on aggregate). He continued to be almost exclusively associated with the B's during his spell.

In July 2013 Badía signed with Granada CF, being assigned to the reserves in the third level. On 20 January of the following year, after acting as a backup to Stole Dimitrievski, he rescinded his link with the Andalusians and moved to fellow league team CF Reus Deportiu.

Coat of arms

The emblem is that of the Winkler Colz von zu Rubatsch family which, in the 16th and 17th century, had property and the castle at La Ila. The shield is party per fess, at the top is represented a sable steinbock, holding with the front hoofs a red broken branch on an or background. The lower part is divided into three, with vertex at the top, alternating gules and argent with a rose in the center; every rose has the central petal in or. The emblem was granted in 1967.

King Lear

King Lear is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It depicts the gradual descent into madness of the title character, after he disposes of his kingdom giving bequests to two of his three daughters based on their flattery of him, bringing tragic consequences for all. Derived from the legend of Leir of Britain, a mythological pre-Roman Celtic king, the play has been widely adapted for the stage and motion pictures, with the title role coveted by many of the world's most accomplished actors.
