Enjoy Super hit children's movie Chota Chetan is a latest dubbed Hindi version of Malayalam movie My Dear Kuttichathan (1984)

Synopsis : The character Chhota Chetan is formed on the basis of the specialties of a deity who is being worshiped mainly in the south Indian state Kerala. There are cruel magicians everywhere in the world. One of them is the Karimbhootham (black magician) who enslaved an invisible spirit with his magic spells whom he calls Chhota Chetan ( Little Ghost in English and Kuttichathan in Malayalam ). Two boys and a girl befriend Chhota Chetan by accident and release him from the grip of the magician. They understand that this Chetan is friendly to kids and is a very good friend. Therefore the girl promises to keep Chetan in a house for two reasons - One her father drinks too much so she wants Chetan who is a very good magician to make him himself as her mother has died there is no one to control him & Second Chetan being a small boy also drinks a lot. He could drink all that her father drinks there by changing her father's attitude.
At the same time the cruel magician wants the Chetan to lay hands on a treasure. Even though the magician is the owner of the Chetan he is burnt and killed by the Chetan in the climax. Chetan turns into a bat and flies away.
Although it was the dubbed version of My Dear Kuttichathan a few additional scenes were shot with Hindi actors Urmila Matondkar, Satish Kaushik, Shakti Kapoor, Harish and Ravi Baswani. Shakti Kapoor plays the part of a magician who tries to catch Chetan but gets trapped in a mirror. The part was originally played by Dominic Alumudan in the Malayalam version ( Prakash Raj did this role in its re-released Tamil version Chutti Chathan ). Satish Kaushik plays the part of Jagathi Sreekumar as a scientist who also tries to catch Chetan but gets destroyed.
Though a dubbed release it went on to become a major box office hit. It was the first feature film to introduce DTS for a stereoscopic 3D feature film.
It was a golden opportunity for the Presidians to hear Mr. Chetan Bhagat; one of the best novelists of our country on how to crack some of the toughest entrance exams. Mr. Chetan is the author of famous books like One night at the call centre, The 3 mistakes of my life, Revolution 2020 etc. and his stories have even been adapted into Bollywood films that were super hits.
In his speech he reveals the 6-step process to achieve big things in life. He talks about moving forward with the right approach and putting all your heart and soul into it, without compromising on the resources required.

Chetan Bhagat (Hindi: चेतन भगत) (born 22 April 1974), is an Indian author, columnist, and speaker. Bhagat is the author of five bestselling novels, Five Point Someone (2004), One Night @ the Call Center (2005), The 3 Mistakes of My Life (2008), 2 States (2009) & Revolution 2020: Love, Corruption, Ambition (2011). All five books have remained bestsellers since their release and two have inspired Bollywood films (including the hit film 3 Idiots). In 2008, The New York Times called Bhagat "the biggest selling English language novelist in India's history". Bhagat, an alumni of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad, is seen more as a youth icon than as an author.Time magazine named him as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Bhagat also favoured the forming of a system similar to the Lokpal as early as January 2011 through his articles. Bhagat writes op-ed columns for English and Hindi newspapers, including The Guardian, The Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar, focusing on youth, career and issues based on national development. Bhagat is also a motivational speaker and has given talks in leading multinational corporations and other institutions. He quit his international investment banking career in 2009, to devote his entire time to writing.

Since Chetan is not wealthy, Dhanlaxmi rejects him, and forces her daughter to re-locate to their Jaipur house where she plans to go ahead with the marriage. The question remains what can poor Chetan do to himself a suitable candidate for Sonali, and how is he ever going to convince Dhanlaxmi to change her mind about him.

Synopsis : The character Chhota Chetan is formed on the basis of the specialties of a deity who is being worshiped mainly in the south Indian state Kerala. There are cruel magicians everywhere in the world. One of them is the Karimbhootham (black magician) who enslaved an invisible spirit with his magic spells whom he calls Chhota Chetan ( Little Ghost in English and Kuttichathan in Malayalam ). Two boys and a girl befriend Chhota Chetan by accident and release him from the grip of the magician. They understand that this Chetan is friendly to kids and is a very good friend. Therefore the girl promises to keep Chetan in a house for two reasons - One her father drinks too much so she wants Chetan who is a very good magician to make him himself as her mother has died there is no one to control him & Second Chetan being a small boy also drinks a lot. He could drink all that her father drinks there by changing her father's attitude.
At the same time the cruel magician wants the Chetan to lay hands on a treasure. Even though the magician is the owner of the Chetan he is burnt and killed by the Chetan in the climax. Chetan turns into a bat and flies away.
Although it was the dubbed version of My Dear Kuttichathan a few additional scenes were shot with Hindi actors Urmila Matondkar, Satish Kaushik, Shakti Kapoor, Harish and Ravi Baswani. Shakti Kapoor plays the part of a magician who tries to catch Chetan but gets trapped in a mirror. The part was originally played by Dominic Alumudan in the Malayalam version ( Prakash Raj did this role in its re-released Tamil version Chutti Chathan ). Satish Kaushik plays the part of Jagathi Sreekumar as a scientist who also tries to catch Chetan but gets destroyed.
Though a dubbed release it went on to become a major box office hit. It was the first feature film to introduce DTS for a stereoscopic 3D feature film.
