This episode list gives brief descriptions and some other details of the episodes of the ITV television series Minder.
Series 1–7 (first broadcast in 1979 to 1985 and 1989) focus on Arthur Daley, a middle-aged car salesman and self-described entrepreneur working on the edge and often beyond the law in pursuit of a quick profit. He is assisted/minded by Terry McCann, a former professional boxer, who has served time in jail and is determined not to return there. Two TV films were also made between series 6 and 7, broadcast on Christmas Day 1985 and Boxing Day 1988. Series 8–10 (first broadcast in 1991, 1993 and 1994) focus on Arthur Daley, older but no wiser, and his nephew Ray Daley as his new minder/assistant. Series 11 (first broadcast in 2009) was a short-lived revival of the program with a completely new cast.
Originally formed in the early 80s, the Los Angeles band Windows delivered 11 albums over the course of a dozen years. Guided by bassist/vocalist Skipper Wise and his writing partner keyboardist Ed Cohen, the group was a hybrid sound, and plumbed various forms of fusion while simultaneously examining avenues with more polish and sheen. Peter White performed regularly on many Windows albums appearing as a more or less 'permanent guest', while, in turn, Wise helped launch White's solo career producing his first two releases. Although Windows' fortunes culminated with the 1989 number one radio album “The French Laundry”, some of the finest fruits of Wise's and Cohen's creativity ripened afterward, the 1990 follow up Blue September being among those most particularly noteworthy.
Windows, an instrumental contemporary jazz group that included Skipper (Bassist), Ed Cohen (keyboard), Dudley Brooks (guitar), Tim Timmermans (drums) and Michael Acosta (saxophone). After sending out demo cassettes to record companies and getting back 24 letters saying "Not interested", they received one from Michael Dion of ITI Records expressing interest, saying "I like what I hear, can we meet". They were signed to the label in 1983. Windows, the self-titled album was released in 1983 on the ITI Records label. It received positive reviews that allowed the group to play locally and create a small following. This local buzz attracted Jim Martone of the new-formed Jazz label Intima/Enigma. Windows was signed in 1984 to Intima/Capitol Records and their second album “Is It Safe” was released soon after.
Code page 932 (abbreviated as CP932, also known by the IANA name Windows-31J) is Microsoft's extension of Shift JIS to include NEC special characters (Row 13), NEC selection of IBM extensions (Rows 89 to 92), and IBM extensions (Rows 115 to 119). The coded character sets are JIS X0201:1997, JIS X0208:1997, and these extensions. Windows-31J is often mistaken for Shift JIS: while similar, the distinction is significant for computer programmers wishing to avoid mojibake, and a good reason to use the world-widely unambiguous UTF-8 instead. The windows-31J name, however, is IANA's and not recognized by Microsoft, which historically has used shift_jis instead.
In Japanese editions of Windows, this code page is referred to as "ANSI", since it is the operating system's default 8-bit encoding, even though ANSI was not involved in its definition.
Code page 932 contains standard 7-bit ASCII codes, and Japanese characters are indicated by the high bit set to 1. Some code points in this page require a second byte, so characters use either 8 or 16 bits for encoding.

Combinatorial game theory (CGT) is a branch of applied mathematics and theoretical computer science that typically studies sequential games with perfect information. Study is largely confined to two-player games which have a position in which the players take turns changing in defined ways or moves to achieve a defined winning condition. CGT has not traditionally studied games randomness and imperfect or incomplete information (sometimes called games of chance, like poker), favoring games whose position is public to both players, and in which the set of available moves is also public (perfect information). Combinatorial games include well-known games like chess, checkers, Go, Arimaa, Hex, and Connect6. They also include one-player combinatorial puzzles, and even no-player automata, like Conway's Game of Life. In CGT, the moves in these games are represented as a game tree.
Game theory in general includes games of chance, games of imperfect knowledge, and games in which players can move simultaneously, and they tend to represent real-life decision making situations.
"Царевна" (Tsaryevna, English: Princess) is the third single from Belarusian singer Dmitry Koldun. Koldun has recently seen great successes with previous songs Work Your Magic and Я Для Tебя in his homeland Belarus and in neighbouring Russia.
The media in these countries has highly publicised the new song with countless interviews with Koldun and picture releases showing Koldun behind the scenes. The song is expected to achieve a high chart position following Koldun's past success. Unlike Я Для Tебя this song is new and has not been performed by Koldun before (like in the Fabrika contest/s).
On 27 April 2008 the music video could be viewed on YouTube. The video was made available early for Koldun fans on his official forum.
sitting next to this train on the track side
admiring what I have completed
it's my name and the name of another one
that I have painted that I have laid out
on the side of this metal beast
on the side of this metal beast and it rolls on
it moves from town to town
it covers the same ground
one day this train came back to me
and my name it was still there
but the names of the other ones have faded
so I touched them up
the best i could
tried to make everything the way it was
but paint wont stick to the side of a rusted train
just like painting them in the rain and it rolls on
it moves from town to town
it covers the same ground
this train came back a second time
and my name it was still there
yes it was just the same
you know it had never changed
and the names of the other ones were nowhere to be scene
stripped away by time and the elements
stripped away and it rolls on
it moves from town to town it covers the same ground
it covers the same damn ground
walking up the track side
